Leave it to Mark and Allen to wait until the podcast is almost done to deliver an interview like this. It was so great to meet with Mike Scully - what a nice guy, a great conversationalist, and a good sport! Not only is his body of work fascinating, but he doesn't mind when we accidentally add credits to his resume that don't even exist (keep your ears peeled to hear Mark make a royal screwup, LOL). The boys were extremely lucky to get a chance like this to talk with Mike around late September 2024. We got to hear about Mike's work on big shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond and The Simpsons (and Parks of course), what he thought about acting as Pawnee citizen Pearl, concerns he had about Champion the 3-Legged Dog, his start in stand-up (and two famous people he met in the process), and many, many other topics. Let me tell you about Boone, a one-year-old bloodhound with a spirit that's nothing short of inspiring. A few months back, Boone's handler discovered a cancerous growth on his leg, which led to an amputation. It seemed like Boone's days with the sheriff's office were over, but he had other plans.

Lydia Crochet is the "mom" to a three-legged dog named Jeanie. Jeanie is a three-legged therapy dog in Lake Charles, LA, and the star of her own children’s book, “Jeanie the 3-Legged Dog; I Don’t Need Four Feet”. It’s a heart-warming tale for dog lovers of all ages, reminding readers that anything is possible and it’s okay (and even cool!) to be different. Jeanie shares a powerful message of courage and acceptance, choosing to focus on the things she CAN do instead of her limitations. Jeanie is an adopted rescue. She was found in a rural area outside of Lake Charles in the Fall of 2007 when she was approximately five or six months old. She had a deformed and crippled front leg that made it difficult for her to walk. She was brought to a local vet’s office where they removed the leg, spay her and listed her for adoption with a local animal rescue organization.
