Is the shooting industry in trouble? In this episode of the Guns Podcast US, host Brent Wheat welcomes special guest Trent Marsh to break down the cold, hard numbers behind the current state of the industry. Moving past anecdotes and vibes, Trent shares insights from his deep-dive analysis on why the gun market has been in a downward trend since 2020. We explore the "New Old Guard" perspective, why the era of panic buying has effectively ended, and how the political landscape has created a shift in consumer demand. From the saturation of the AR market to the unexpected lack of market reaction to major political events, this episode is a must-listen for anyone interested in the future of the shooting sports. *Key Takeaways* • The gun industry has experienced five consecutive years of negative growth since the 2020 spike- and is likely to continue. • Unsatisfied consumer demand for firearms and ammo has largely been exhausted. • Panic buying is no longer a reliable driver for the market, even in the face of major national tragedies. • The market has become politically polarized, with states solidifying their own Second Amendment environments. • We are currently in a 'buyer's market' due to overstocking, but this may lead to higher prices once the industry corrects. • Small-scale 'mom-and-pop' AR builders and commodity-focused brands are at the highest risk of failing. According to two sources with knowledge of Canada-U.S. trade talks, Canadian and American negotiators have exchanged a number of trade offers in recent weeks but neither side is ready to accept a deal. The CBC's Kate McKenna has those details. Plus, should the U.S. ambassador be declared a persona non grata? Tens of thousands of Canadians say yes. The Power Panel debates whether this petition could help or hurt trade talks.

You did it. You hit the number. You got the relationship. You landed the career. Everything on the list you wrote years ago is sitting right in front of you. So why do you feel like this? I've been coaching on this exact moment all week, and honestly, a lot of it has been for me too. There's a very specific point that happens after you get what you wanted, and almost nobody sees it coming. You start backsliding. You start feeling unsatisfied. You start wondering what's wrong with you, when nothing is wrong with you at all. In this episode, I'm walking you through what actually happens in your mind between casting a vision and living it, why the version of you who made that wish four years ago is not the version of you standing here today, and what that gap does if you don't deal with it. There's a reason this keeps happening even to people who are winning. I'll show you exactly where it comes from, and what to do the moment you notice it happening to you. This episode of More Than Mindset gives you the roadmap to spotting the anchor that's pulling you back, releasing it for good, and casting a bigger vision from who you've actually become. Intro to קינה כח׳ for CZE Cincinnati

BIG Life Devotional | Daily Devotional for Women

There are probably things you do every day without really knowing why you do them. Think about it. When we meet someone new, we shake hands. But why? The original purpose was to show that your weapon hand was empty and that you came in peace. Most of us aren’t checking each other for concealed swords anymore, yet the handshake remains. We do it because it’s what we’ve always done. Or take Daylight Saving Time. Twice a year, many of us change our clocks and grumble about losing an hour of sleep or it getting dark too early. Ask the average person why we still do it, and most aren’t quite sure. We just know it’s time to change the clocks again. Even the phrases we use have outlived their original purpose. We still say, “Hang up the phone,” even though most people haven’t hung a phone on anything in decades. And let’s be honest—tapping the “End Call” button just doesn’t have the same satisfaction as slamming down a receiver! One of my favorite examples comes from a friend of mine. Every holiday, she cut the end off the ham before putting it in the oven. One day I asked her why. “Because that’s how you’re supposed to do it,” she said. I told her that’s not the way I do it. Unsatisfied with that answer, she asked her grandmother why she taught her to cut the end off the ham. Her grandmother laughed and said, “Because my baking pan was too small.” For 50 years, a tradition had been passed down from generation to generation, long after the too small baking pan no longer existed. It got me thinking: How many things am I doing simply because I’ve always done them? How many things have I been taught that I’ve never really stopped to examine? And then one practice came to mind. Prayer. More specifically, ending a prayer with the words, “In Jesus’ name, amen.” Do you do that? I do. Since I learned to pray as a teenager, I have ended my prayers that way because that’s what I was taught to do. It’s what I heard in church. So I said it too. “In Jesus’ name, amen.” But have you ever stopped and asked yourself why? Why do we pray in Jesus’ name? Is it simply a religious phrase we attach to the end of our prayers? Like a Christian version of saying “goodbye”? Or is there something deeper happening? What authority are we invoking when we pray in Jesus’ name? What did Jesus mean when He taught His followers to ask in His name? And what difference does it make when we truly understand it? Girls, let’s dig deeper together. Because when you understand what you’re saying, why you’re saying it, and whose authority you’re standing in, prayer becomes far more than a routine. It becomes powerful. And when understanding meets faith, prayer changes. The simple answer of why we pray in Jesus’ name is because Jesus told us to. John 14: 13-14, “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” As Jesus is explaining to his disciples that he is about to die and no longer be with them in physical form, he says in John 16: 23-24, “At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.” Yes, Jesus told us to pray in His name. But if that’s all we understand, we’ve missed the deeper meaning.” This isn’t like cutting the end off your ham because your grandma’s old baking pan was too short 50 years ago. This isn’t continuing something that no longer really applies to our lives today. This is of paramount importance still today – we pray in the name of Jesus. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus. But has it become nothing more than words you add to the end of your prayer – or are you REALLY approaching the Father through Jesus? 1 Timothy 2:5, “There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity – the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.” Jesus is our mediator. A mediator is someone who stands between 2 parties and brings them together. Think of a negotiator helping 2 people who are separated by conflict find reconciliation. Here’s the truth – we’ve screwed up. Every single one of us have fallen so short of the glory of God. We could never stand in his holy presence. Sin caused Adam and Eve to be kicked out of the garden, and we’ve been separated since. No matter how good we may try to be, in our own human effort, we simply cannot bridge that gap. The distance between us and our holy, perfect God is massive. Only the cross could bridge it and make a way for us to God. Jesus literally stepped into the middle for us. Because Jesus is both fully God and fully man, He represents both sides. His life sacrificed and blood shed for us then makes a way for us to come into God’s presence. We are for real coming to God in the name of Jesus. Our name isn’t good enough. Only the name of Jesus grants us access to God. But, I must admit, I’ve treated Jesus more like my heavenly mail carrier at time than my savior. Here’s my prayer request, Jesus, deliver this to God for me. Put your stamp of approval on this and maybe God will move for me. Is that what Jesus has become to you? You pray in his name because he’s the stamp for your letter to be delivered to God? Oh Jesus, please forgive us. JESUS IS THE REASON WE HAVE ACCESS TO GOD AT ALL!!!!!! When we pray “in Jesus’ name” we’re acknowledging this important fact – I’m not coming to God based on my goodness, my worthiness, or my achievements – I’m coming to God because Jesus has made a way for me! This is NOT a magic phrase that unlocks heaven – although we have sometimes treated it that way. The power is not in just saying the words, “In Jesus’ name”. The power is the holy One behind the name. Jesus himself has said, “She’s with me – she has access.” So now we show up in God’s presence through prayer and we acknowledge, “I’m only here because Jesus says I can be.” Hebrews 4:16 tells us to “Come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.” There’s only one way you can do that – back up a verse and you’ll see – it’s because Jesus is our High Priest. In the Old Testament, the high priest was the one person appointed to represent all the people before God. This one person stood in the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity. Once a year, the high priest would enter into the presence of God and offer sacrifices for their sin. If an ordinary person went into the place within the temple where God’s presence was, they would be struck dead. Only the high priest could enter. Now, we are told WE (yes me and you) can come boldly to the throne of God. We have access. We can talk to God directly. How? Because we have a High Priest who is Jesus. When you come to God in the name of Jesus, you’re remembering Jesus has already gone before you making it possible for you. As our High Priest, Jesus continually represents us before God. And knowing this can transform your prayers. We don’t have to end our prayers with a phrase we repeat out of habit – we can say it with understanding. I’m praying under the authority of Jesus. I’m approaching the Father through Jesus. I am accepted by God because of Jesus. “In the name of Jesus” isn’t a closing phrase – it’s a declaration of faith. It’s a reminder that every prayer reaches the Father because Jesus stands in the gap and makes a way for us to come near. JESUS IS THE REASON WE HAVE ACCESS TO GOD AT ALL!!!!!! The miracle isn’t that God answers our prayers. The miracle is that we are invited to pray at all. Have you ever prayed a prayer, even ended it with “in Jesus’ name,” and it didn’t get answered? That really causes us to struggle, doesn’t it? It’s easy to take Jesus’ words, “Ask anything in My name, and I will do it,” and twist them to mean that as long as we add His name to our request, it’s guaranteed to happen. What a dangerous little game we can play there. We must always remember that God sees what we do not see. He holds ETERNITY while we are stuck in the right here and now, wanting immediate answers, immediate relief, and immediate results. We see today. God sees forever. We see the request. God sees the outcome. We see the closed door. God sees what is standing behind it. Sometimes the most loving answer God can give is “yes.” Sometimes it is “wait.” And sometimes it is “no.” Not because He isn’t listening. Not because Jesus’ name lacks power. Not because our faith is too small. But because a wise Father is answering from an eternal perspective while we are praying from a temporary one. Praying in Jesus’ name is not giving God our agenda and expecting His signature at the bottom. It is bringing our requests under His authority, His character, His wisdom, and His will. When I pray in Jesus’ name, I am essentially saying: “Lord, this is what I desire. This is what I hope for. But more than anything, I want what You want. If this request honors You, advances Your purposes, and aligns with Your will, then let it be so.” That kind of prayer requires trust. It means trusting that when God says yes, He is good. When God says wait, He is good. And even when God says no, He is still good. The power of praying in Jesus’ name was never found in getting everything we ask for. The power is found in knowing that the One who hears us sees the whole picture—and we can trust Him with the answer. So why do we pray “In Jesus’ name”? Why do we end our prayers in this way? Well maybe we didn’t know before, but we know now! John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE can come to the Father except through ME.” He’s not the mailman of heavenly requests – he is the reason for our access at all. He is the only way to our Father God. If we don’t come to God in the name of Jesus, we simply don’t get there! The next time you pray and say, “In Jesus’ name,” don’t let it be empty words. Remember what you’re really saying: “Father, I am not standing before You because of my goodness. I am not approaching You in my own authority. I am here because of Jesus. I belong to Him. He made a way for me. And I’m only here because Jesus says I can be.” Follow Pamela on Instagram – https://instagram.com/headmamapamela Or Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/pamela.crim Find out more about BIG Life – http://biglifehq.com

In this Daily Editorial on The KE Report, I chat with Joel Elconin, co-founder of the Pre-Market Prep Show and founder of the Stock Trader Network, to discuss a mixed week in US equities, where he highlights an “unsatisfied bid underneath the market.”   On the positive side of the market:   Micron Technology (MU) had an amazing day up over 15% after a solid earnings report and estimate beat, and this caused sympathetic buying in SanDisk (SNDK) up almost 22% on the day. It was a big day for hardware stocks. The financial stocks, consumer staples, mixed retail, utilities, biotech (XBI), Caterpillar (CAT) and Deere (DE) all have had constructive moves higher lately. Airline stocks and cruise stocks have been benefitting from the pullback in oil prices.   On the negative side of the market:   The MAG-7 megacap tech stock leadership has been rolling over lately, with Apple (AAPL), Nvidia (NVDA) , Meta (META), and Microsoft (MSFT) leading the charge down this week. The SpaceX (SPCX) IPO highlights excessive market speculation and after a very big launch, it has now crashed back down to Earth, with pricing very near now to where it initially came to market; creating a lot of new bagholders. Oil prices have collapsed since the MOU was signed between the US and Iran, but there was a slight lift today in oil and energy stocks on the news that projectiles were shot at a tanker by Iran in the Strait or Hormuz.     We debate how the wider market breadth rotating out of the megacap tech stocks into more areas of the market could show a healthier market, but Joel points out with the MAG-7 having a disproportionately high weighting in the S&P and Nasdaq, and with many institutions so heavily weighted to concentrated positions, that it has him leaning more neutral to bearish coming into the summer.   Click here to visit Joel's PreMarket Prep website – https://www.premarketprep.com/   Click here to visit the Stock Trader Network – https://www.stocktradernetwork.com/       For more market commentary & interview summaries, subscribe to our Substacks:   The KE Report: https://kereport.substack.com/ Shad's resource market commentary: https://excelsiorprosperity.substack.com/     Investment disclaimer: This content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Several years ago, Alex boldly packed up his life in Tucson, Arizona, and set up shop in New York City. His magnetic charisma secured him a spot in Bushwick's highly competitive scene of natural-born creators and unique folks. Alex is currently hard at work on a new film. He also consistently produces content for the Male Loneliness Project, a high-concept immersive audio-visual media experiment that has exploded in popularity recently. When he's not creating, he's kicking back and actively participating in 10+ group chats.Something you may notice early in the episode is that on top of all these impressive undertakings, Alex also happens to be a nice young man. So, I thought to myself, what's the catch? Is Alex hiding something?I decided to do some digging to find out what he's hiding. I braced myself for the worst as I instructed my swarm of agents to scour the internet for evidence of misconduct on Alex's part. My agents searched everywhere and found nothing. "He's clean," they told me. Unsatisfied, I instructed them once more, this time demanding that they look harder. When they returned empty-handed again, I felt enraged. I was so angry that I began to fear for the safety of the people closest to me. Suddenly, one of my more evil agents suggested that we fabricate an old tweet in order to gain full control over Alex. I considered it, but decided that this was not fair. My agents begged me to deploy them on this evil mission, but I refused. I called an emergency meeting with my swarm and suspended the mission indefinitely.Alex is clean. He's a good guy. It may be hard to accept, but it is the truth. Enjoy the episode. SEASON 2 - EPISODE 195 Jafar Panahi - Director In this episode of the Team Deakins Podcast, we speak with director Jafar Panahi (IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT, NO BEARS, THE WHITE BALLOON). Growing up amidst poverty in Tehran, Jafar's love for cinema began in childhood and led him to enroll in the film program at university. Unsatisfied with his final student film, he destroyed it, but he reveals to us why and shares how his approach to directing every subsequent film changed for the better. Throughout the episode, we discuss how he actually makes his movies—both as a filmmaker and as a citizen contesting with censorship and an authoritarian government. We discuss the making of THE WHITE BALLOON and THE CIRCLE, and Jafar shares how he attempts to make the events in his films feel as if they really happened. We also learn how and why he brings in non-actors during the casting process, and he reveals how he and his crew try to avoid government raids. We also discuss the making of IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT, which features a return to a more traditional form of storytelling compared with Jafar's preceding films, and he reflects on his period of making films while being banned from filmmaking. Translation conducted by Sheida Dayani. This conversation was recorded on February 12, 2026. If you enjoyed this episode, we recommend listening to our conversation with director Mohammad Rasoulof (Season 2, Episode 121). - Recommended Viewing: THE WHITE BALLOON, THIS IS NOT A FILM, THE CIRCLE - This episode is sponsored by Aputure

The vast majority of the time, “community standard of care” reflects evidence-based recommendations. This means that both the predominance of clinical data and what is clinically practice align one with another period but at times, clinical standard practice doesn't always align with what the data shows. How is this possible? This is exactly the case for home blood pressure monitoring in pregnancy (HBPM). This episode idea comes from an OB PGY-3, soon PGY-4, who asked his attending this brilliant question: “If the BUMP1 and BUMP2 clinical trials did not show a benefit with HBPM, why are we still doing it?” That is a complicated question that has a solid answer! A steel town becomes a stage, a chorus becomes a dare, and a new record asks what we'll do when the comfort runs out. We sit down with XBYRDX (aka Bird), a southern Indiana singer‑songwriter, to trace six formative tracks—Springsteen's Youngstown, The Jesus and Mary Chain's Just Like Honey, The Clash's White Riot, The Replacements' Unsatisfied, The Cure's Plainsong, and Hüsker Dü's Don't Want to Know If You Are Lonely—and hear how noise, melody, and place turned him toward cinematic songwriting. Then we dive into Anthems for the End Times, where XBYRDX threads big themes through tight hooks. “Ayn Rand's On Welfare” challenges a polished indifference that calls itself self‑reliance and reminds us that posting isn't voting. “MAGA Girl” wears a pop sheen while charting a romance split by worldview. “Shrine” confronts flags and monuments, arguing for context over erasure and the courage to tell full history. “Prize Fighter” is the bell‑ring: get off the ropes, organize, and claim agency. The title track sounds apocalyptic but hides a stubborn optimism—no savior is coming, so we move now, together. “White Noise” closes on our algorithmic silos, urging listeners to step past the echo and find signal.Across the conversation, XBYRDX talks craft—layered synths, texture over solos, melodies that carry weight—and the artists who taught him to let songs feel like weather. If you're drawn to protest music with heart, indie rock with teeth, and storytelling that sees people before positions, this one's for you. Stream 'Anthems for the End Times' on Spotify, Apple Music, or wherever you get your invisible music, and let us know which track hit you first. Go to My.SuperAwesomeMix.com and start using our new app on any device - mobile or laptop.  Copy and paste a link to your playlist then turn it into an old school mixtape in minutes!  Support the showVisit us at https://www.superawesomemix.com to learn more about our app, our merchandise, our cards, and more!

The Football Legend Who Traded the Ivy League for the Front Lines: The Story of Johnnie PoeIn the middle of a major winter storm, with classes canceled and the wind howling outside, it's easy to find your mind wandering toward the macabre—perhaps to a certain Edgar Allan Poe story like The Cask of Amontillado. But while most of us associate the name Poe with gothic poetry and raven-themed football teams, there is a far more "rough and tumble" legacy attached to the family name.On a recent episode of the Pig Pen podcast, Darin Hayes sat down with Timothy Brown of Football Archaeology to discuss a man who was a second cousin twice removed from the famous poet: the legendary Johnny Poe.A Princeton DynastyJohnnie Poe was the third of six brothers who played for Princeton University between 1882 and 1901. In an era where the Ivy League was the epicenter of the sport, the Poes were football royalty. Johnny himself was a standout during the 1891 and 1892 seasons, consistently ranking as one of the team's top scorers. However, Johnnie Poe wasn't your typical Ivy League student. He wasn't destined for the quiet life of a district attorney or a businessman like his brothers. He was a man who marched to the beat of a much louder, more dangerous drum. The Wanderer and the WarriorAfter dropping out of Princeton following his sophomore year, Johnnie's life read like an adventure novel. He spent time:Coaching: Leading the teams at the University of Virginia and Navy.Laboring: Mining for gold in the Yukon and working as a cowboy in New Mexico.Soldiering: Seeking action wherever he could find it.Johnnie's thirst for combat was legendary. He joined the Maryland militia for the Spanish-American War (but saw no action), joined the Army to fight in the Philippines (still no action), and even joined the Marines during the Panamanian Revolution. He finally "found his calling" fighting in the Honduran Army, where he finally saw the direct combat he craved.A Hero's End in the "Black Watch"When World War I broke out, Johnnie didn't wait for the United States to enter the fray. He traveled to Europe and joined the British Army. Unsatisfied with being an artilleryman behind the lines, he transferred to the Black Watch, the famous Scottish Highlander regiment. In 1915, during a fierce battle near Ypres in Flanders, Johnnie Poe was killed in action. He was shot in the stomach, and due to the chaotic nature of the conflict, his body was never recovered. He remains "out there" somewhere in the fields of France or Belgium—a fittingly mysterious end for a relative of Edgar Allan Poe.A Lasting LegacyJohnnie Poe's impact on Princeton football didn't end with his death. Even before the U.S. officially joined WWI, Princeton established the John Poe Award for the team's top player. Today, after being combined with another legend's name, it is known as the Poe-Kazmaier Trophy. It's a remarkable testament to a man who was respected by everyone from common soldiers to future presidents (he once spent an hour talking football on the practice field with then-Princeton President Woodrow Wilson).Whether you find him brave, reckless, or a bit of both, Johnny Poe remains one of the most fascinating figures in the intersection of sports and military history. For more deep dives into the forgotten stories of the gridiron, visit FootballArchaeology.com or find Timothy...

Why high achievers keep chasing and still feel unsatisfied often has little to do with effort and everything to do with where attention is placed. In this conversation, Amy and Harper A. Bailey unpack how driven people become conditioned to equate movement with progress and achievement with worth, slowly losing connection to their internal signals along the way. They explore how performance mode, urgency, and the need to prove keep leaders stuck in a cycle of doing more while feeling less fulfilled. Rather than offering another strategy to optimize output, the discussion points inward, revealing how awareness, presence, and listening to the body restore clarity and direction. When achievement stops being the primary compass, work becomes more intentional, decisions feel steadier, and satisfaction stops living somewhere in the future.Key HighlightsWhy high achievers confuse constant movement with real progress - See how staying busy can mask a deeper lack of clarity and direction. How performance mode quietly replaces self-trust - Understand why proving your value externally makes it harder to hear what you actually need. Why achievement stops delivering satisfaction over time - Learn how success can lose its impact when worth becomes tied to outcomes. How ignoring the body leads to misaligned decisions - Discover why physical signals often reveal burnout and misdirection before the mind does. What keeps driven people stuck in urgency and pressure - Explore how the need to stay ahead prevents reflection and recalibration. What shifts when clarity replaces chasing - Notice how slowing down creates steadier decisions, cleaner boundaries, and more grounded leadership.About the Guest: Harper A. Bailey is the pen name of Tiosha Bailey, a Chicago native, public health leader, and powerful storyteller who challenges the status quo. She was the first Black woman to lead a prominent national women's healthcare nonprofit, where she prioritized health equity and amplified the voices of underserved communities. Her first book, It Was Her: A Memoir—featuring a foreword by renowned motivational speaker Lisa Nichols—invites readers into a deeply personal story shaped by loss, resilience, and transformation. Through honest and compelling storytelling, Harper explores identity, healing, and thecourage it takes to reclaim your narrative. As a speaker, Harper brings clarity, depth, and humor to conversations about leadership, purpose, and the lived experiences of Black women. What if the chemistry of your day—your calm, your focus, your energy—could be shifted by sound? We sit down with Maury Zelkovich, the creator behind a long-running brainwave entrainment method, to unpack how rhythmic audio can guide neural firing, change brain chemistry, and reshape how you think and feel through midlife and beyond. This isn't hype; it's the brain's natural tendency to sync with external pulses, turned into a practical tool you can use with a pair of headphones. We trace Maury's journey from despair to discovery, then get specific about how the method works: layered frequencies that mask noise and invite your neurons to follow targeted rhythms associated with states like relaxed focus, deep sleep, and steady confidence. We explore why beliefs become biology—how expectations about aging can lock in stress chemistry—and how small, repeatable wins create new evidence that rewires the story. You'll hear a candid account of our own results: sharper focus, better follow-through, and calmer decision making during a hectic stretch of surgeries, caregiving, and business demands. We also share simple ways to stack the deck in your favor: short daily sessions, light journaling to capture sleep and mood, and using AI to spot patterns between habits and outcomes. The theme running through it all is agency. Tools don't fix you; they reveal what's already there by changing the rhythm that changes the state that changes the choice. Midlife stops feeling like a slow fade and starts looking like a bridge to a better life when mindset, chemistry, and practice align. If you're curious to feel the difference yourself, try the sample linked on our show page, then tell us what shifts first—your mood, your sleep, or your focus. Jennifer and Morry discuss what brainwave entrainment really is, how our brains shape the way we perceive and respond to the world, and why being present in the moment is so crucial for growth and healing. Morry gives us a behind-the-scenes look at his unique approach (including the science and sound behind his methods), discusses the power of intentional thinking, and encourages us to interpret life's challenges as lessons, not punishments.Whether you or someone you know has struggled with emotional ups and downs, this episode is packed with insights, practical advice, and hope. Tune in to learn how small shifts in perception—and a little help from neuroscience—can massively impact your quality of life.About my guest: Morry's journey is one of personal transformation. From a childhood plagued by severe depression and other challenges, he discovered a fascinating connection between the rhythmic sounds in his environment and his own well-being. This realization sparked a deep dive into the world of brainwave entrainment. Unsatisfied with the limited results from existing products, Morry sought out the world's leading expert in the field to uncover the secrets to making the technology truly effective. Having overcome his own struggles, he has now dedicated his life to a powerful mission: helping others improve their quality of life and achieve profound changes without relying on pharmaceuticals.Connect with Morry on LinkedIn, and on the web at https://www.themorrymethod.com. In this episode of The Hormone Genius, we sit down with Haley Yeager to explore a topic every woman deserves to understand—how charting your cycle can be a life-changing tool for health, healing, and wholeness. Contrary to popular belief, menstrual cycle charting isn't just for family planning. It's one of the most powerful insights a woman can have into her overall health. A well-charted cycle acts like a monthly report card, revealing signs of hormonal imbalances, fertility struggles, or conditions like PCOS and endometriosis. It's not just about reproduction—it's about connection with your body. We also discuss the widespread use of hormonal birth control as a catch-all solution for reproductive concerns. While the pill may manage symptoms, it often masks the real issue, delaying diagnosis and treatment. True healing begins with understanding what's actually happening in the body—and that starts with cycle awareness. Haley shares her own powerful journey. At 16, she was prescribed the pill to manage irregular periods but quickly experienced intense side effects. Unsatisfied with masking symptoms, she turned to cycle charting and, through the help of a knowledgeable OBGYN, was diagnosed with PCOS. This shift allowed her to manage her health naturally—and ultimately led to the conception of her three beautiful children.
