Geoff and Marie's Good Life: Part 2Lazy SundayA retired couple discover the perfect Sunday.Based on posts by Only In My Mind, in 15 parts. Listen to the Podcast at Explicit Novels.List of main characters.Geoff: retired materials scientist. Mid-sixties. 5 foot 10 inch, ex amateur rugby player, still swims, runs and walks to keep fit. More than adequately equipped to satisfy his wife.Marie: retired modern languages lecturer. Same age as her husband, Geoff. 5 foot 2 inch voluptuous build, with D cup tits and proportionate bum and hips. Shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes and olive skin inherited from her French grandmother.Angie: possibly retired mathematician (may still be involved in intelligence gathering, she won't discuss her work). Early sixties. 5 foot 10 inch, slender athletic build. Firm B cup tits, brown hair and famously dirty mind.Mike: research biochemist. Mid-fifties. 6 foot 1 inch, also rugby player. Good looking for his age.It had been a funny old weekend. It started on Friday evening when my wife, Marie, came home from catching up with her friends at our local and burst into tears. She was upset because she was getting laid and they weren't so she wanted me to have sex with them, but was afraid I'd refuse. On Saturday, she'd invited her friend, Angie, to our home for an evening meal, after which, along with a couple of bottles of wine we batted Marie's generous gesture back and forth. You must be wondering what the issue is: I'm a bloke, my wife actually wants me to fuck her friends and we're all retired over-sixties so no-one's getting pregnant; why am I apparently so reluctant to go along with it? Don't worry, even though I've already explained in detail in a previous story, It will become clearer. I haven't finished with the weekend yet. That Saturday Angie dissected my disinclination to be unfaithful to my wife, even with permission, and came up with a suggestion. Look, we were a bit pissed and she is really smart. She won't say, but I think she used to work for Her Majesty's Government at GCHQ as a cryptographer. Anyway, her idea was that the 'girls' visit us in pairs and I fuck one while the other has sex with Marie; then we swap. I know it sounds stupid but we were quite tipsy and it did actually make sense at the time. That left the elephant in the room. Sorry, that was a metaphor, no elephants were molested during the course of these events.Ah, yes the elephant: I had confessed to my wife and her friend that I didn't want to damage our newly repaired relationship by having sex with other women because I wasn't secure enough to accept her having sex with other men as part of a quid pro quo. But if my wife could tolerate us both having sex with the same women, perhaps the drunken idea was, actually, the genius concept that Angie claimed. One thing led to another and we all ended up together in bed. Angie discovered her inner lesbian and, with coaching from me, proved to be quite a gifted muff diver. My wife discovered that she wasn't repelled by another woman's touch, several times and quite vocally. But could Marie cope with me and another woman doing the deed? If you read my last story, you already know. She actually pushed my cock inside her friend for me! Then she played with Angie's tits and clit until she came. And did she come! Apparently, it had been a while and we both did some of our best work on her. In fairness, we were quite excited too and may have got a bit carried away but we did feel a bit guilty for reducing this athletic super brain to the mindless, limp, sweaty fuckdoll laying comatose on our bed.So to Sunday; I woke up about eight, with my erect cock lodged in Angie's bum crack, and not wanting to add sexual assault to my concerns, I turned over to face my wife on the other side of the bed. She was already awake. "Fancy a quickie?" She whispered. "All that sex last night and I still never got you inside me even once.""Okay," I replied quietly. "But then we have to make sure Angie isn't broken. We'll have to keep her if she is. It's not like we can take her back."Marie giggled, "She'll be as good as new: Better, in fact. A good meal, good company, good wine, great sex and probably the best night's sleep she's had in months. Now, are you going to put that thing inside me or are you planning to let it go to waste?"I reached up and started to squeeze her tits as we kissed. While Angie is tall and lithe with firm but small B cup boobs, Mother Nature endowed her bounty on my wife's chest. Full and ample D cups that have barely dropped since she was in her teens. They look even more impressive as she's only 5 foot 2, but they match her glorious round bum.Reluctantly leaving go of one tit, I snaked my hand down between us to sample the delights between her thighs. She sighed and shifted slightly to allow me better access. I could tell that she was already ready for me as my middle finger slipped easily into her cunt. I pondered for a second then came to a decision.I carefully moved the quilt that had been covering us and indicated that Marie should move to the middle of the bed, facing her friend. We managed as quietly as we could and renewed our love-making. I was able to get one arm placed so that I could attack my wife's bum and cunt from behind, while the other hand played with her tits.Once I realized that she was beginning to get impatient, I slipped inside her warm wet cunt from behind. They say that it's nice to go travelling and even nicer to come home. That's how I felt just then. I'd had incredible sex with another woman just a few hours ago but now, little Geoff was warm and comfy in his happy place. This was what I feared losing; why I'd been reluctant. It was just so fucking good!We just moved together in long slow strokes for ages, both just reveling in the feel of each other's bodies, neither of us needed the urgency of release. Eventually, Marie started to gasp quietly and then shuddered as her first climax washed over her. I paused for a few seconds as she caught her breath and then, so slowly, started our rhythm again. This was our version of the famous cocktail, The Slow Comfortable Screw.I was in heaven: one hand was kneading my wife's glorious tits while my cock was burrowing up and down her slippery love tunnel. Then Marie moved just a little to get comfortable, or so I assumed, until I felt a warm hand cupping my balls. Ah, Angie's awake. Marie had been moving to get access to Angie's tits. And so we lay there, me slowly fucking my wife who was, in turn, kissing her friend and fondling her tits while Angie returned the compliment as she stroked my balls as they moved back and forth between my wife's thighs. After a few minutes Angie moved her hand so that it was stroking Marie's clit and rubbing against my shaft as it moved in and out of her. Marie had already had one gentle orgasm but this double assault took her over the edge and this time I felt her cunt muscles spasm as she came hard.I still hadn't come, so I considered asking Angie if she wanted me to fuck her too, but she got in first. "Geoff," she looked at me a bit sheepishly. "I wanna be a real dirty girl for you. Please can I?"I tried to imagine what Angie could possibly find embarrassing after the previous night. This I had to see. "Go for it," I said. "Tell me what you want me to do."She turned to Marie who had flopped down on her back to wallow in her early morning warm post-coital glow. "Hey babe, can I suck your fella's cock?""Just as long as you do it quietly," Marie replied drowsily, and closed her eyes."Round here, stud!" She ordered. I complied, puzzled. Not that a blow job wouldn't be appreciated but why would that make her feel so awkward? She sat up and slid her legs off the bed. Even though I seen her naked the previous night; even though I'd kissed and caressed those small firm tits; even though I'd kissed her from her bum crack to clit, the sight of her naked, waiting to suck my cock as my wife lay naked next to her had me so hard it hurt.Angie took me in her hand and looked up at me, "I really need you to tell me when you're about to come. You'll see why."Then she focused on my cock: It's a nice one and we've always been very happy together and Marie says it's lovely to look at. Angie studied it for a minute then looked up at me and nodded. "Yes," she said. "It's just as nice as Marie described it."Is there nothing so intimate that women won't discuss it?Angie looked up at me and puckered her lips as if to kiss someone. She bent forwards and pressed my cock into the gap, squeezing as she went. I felt like I was fucking a virgin. As the head forced through her lip barrier her tongue came into play as the sensitive skin under the glans rubbed over it. She bobbed deep and slow covering me with her saliva. Now and again she pull me out and show me the strings of spittle connecting us. Then back in again, licking and sucking. She claimed that she'd abandoned sex after her second husband cheated on her. I'd always thought he was a fucking moron and the last twelve hours had proved it, this moment even more so. She was spectacularly gifted and seemed to have no gag reflex. This was warm, wet, tongue filled heaven with a side order of throat. After a couple of minutes I told her I was getting close. She took me out again and turned her head to Marie. "Hey, lazybones. Get up here next to me. I have a treat for you.". Marie stirred and sat up slowly as Angie took me back in her mouth and tried to swallow me. Marie sat and snuggled naked next to her friend and watched her blow me as I looked at these two, very different, beautiful women and wondered what I'd done to deserve this moment.I put my hand on Angie's head and told her I was about to come. She gave one final deep bob and then pulled me out. She emptied the saliva from mouth to lubricate me and the started to wank me as my wife watched. That aroused me even more and my hips jerked as I started to ejaculate. She pointed me at her tits and then Marie's as my semen spurted out. She caught the last spurt in her mouth.Marie was breathing heavily, Angie's surprise had got to her. But Angie wasn't finished. She turned to her friend and kissed her full on the mouth. Marie's eyes widened as she realized what her friend was doing: She was sharing my sperm in her kiss. It was my turn to watch as they pulled their mouths apart to display the sticky strings of my cum mingled with their saliva, then they went back to attacking each other's tonsils. They were so fucking hot!Eventually Angie straightened up and swallowed. "There, that was nice," she said. "I got to taste Marie on your cock when I sucked you, and tasted your cum for dessert."She looked to Marie who was still a little bemused. Angie absent-mindedly rubbed my semen into their skin, licking the thickest deposits from Marie's tits. "Kinky, eh? Told you I was a dirty girl."I bent towards Angie's left nipple and found a gob of cum that she'd missed. I scooped it up with my tongue and leaned towards Marie. She smiled and leaned into our kiss, both sharing and then swallowing my spunk.Angie watched us in dismay. "What the fuck does a girl have to do to shock you two?" She complained.Marie looked lovingly at her friend. "Angie. I've known you for nearly forty years. We've never said this before because it would have made our lives too complicated back then. But now; I want to say, in front of Geoff, Angie, I love you, and I know you love me too. You can't shock us, because we're okay with anything that gives you pleasure."Marie turned to me with a concerned expression. I stopped her by putting my finger on her lips. "It's okay." I said. "She's adorable: You can keep her." I scooted across to Angie and put my arms around her. "When Marie came home on Friday night, she cried because you and the others were unhappy. And that broke her heart because she loves you all so much. I realized then that her love for you didn't take anything from me. It just made her heart bigger.I kissed both my girls and headed for the bathroom. As I went, I called over my shoulder, "We need to sort out some ground rules before this turns into a nightmare of a clusterfuck, but in the meantime you two have my full approval to play nice."After my shower I went downstairs intending to make breakfast but stopped to call a friend first. "Hi, Mike; Yeah, I know, full of good intentions but never actually pick the phone up to call; Even now I'm ringing to pick your brain; Not over the phone, are you free this week?; Today?; Even better; can I treat you to Sunday Lunch at The Black Swan?; Perfect; Two o'clock, and we can catch up then; See you."I put the kettle on to make a cuppa for the three of us, if the girls ever came down, and some bread in the toaster for me. No full English for me this Sunday, I had a big lunch to come. When they finally arrived in the kitchen they were both looking flushed, with wet hair and wearing dressing gowns. Obviously, in an effort to economize on water they had showered together. I told Marie that I had to go out that afternoon to meet a friend and that we should probably talk about boundaries sooner rather than later. I left them to decide what they were having for breakfast and claimed my favorite chair to watch the news on TV in the living room. They joined me a few minutes later still drinking their tea. I switched the TV off and turned to them as they settled at opposite ends of the sofa.Marie started the conversation. "You were right, what you said earlier. Our relationship has changed again and I don't want to lose what we've only just recovered. Do you regret what we did last night?" She sounded uncertain."No! Not for a second," I said firmly. "But I need to be confident that when I am 'with' one of your friends I'm not making you unhappy and putting my marriage at risk."Marie looked at her friend. "What do you think Angie; can we make it work?"Angie shrugged. "Dunno. People stuff isn't really my strongest subject. Give me mathematical relationships and I'm your girl. If I was any good at personal relationships I wouldn't have two ex-husbands. Last night, apart from being a bit squiffy, the math was simple. You both gave me simple criteria that lent itself to Boolean logic: the wine helped too. Now, you're in the realms of, 'How will I feel if?' And I haven't a fucking clue what the answer to that will be.""Okay," I said. "Then I'll list my concerns and my thoughts on how to address them."First: We only have sex within your group of friends. I suppose it's possible you may want to include other people eventually, but everybody, and I mean everybody, would have to agree in advance."Marie made as if to interrupt. I held up my hand before she could speak."Sorry love, but please hear me out while I've got my thoughts in order." She nodded and sat back."Second: You and I each only have sex with other people with the other's full knowledge and consent. That means Angie can't come round for a quickie with you any more than I can pop round to Jo's for a quick fuck on the way to the shops."Third: I think that it would be a bad idea for one of us to be having sex when the other isn't. I don't think I would be comfortable having sex with one of your friends while you were alone. I'd rather you were with us."Fourth: You have five other friends who were part of your sex debate but only there are only two of them you really want me to fuck in addition to Angie. I want to meet them first " The girls looked at each other and then glared back at me. "Go on," I said. "What have I missed?""It's six friends," Marie said emphatically. "At least, if they want to: Angie, Megan, Lucy, Jo, Kate and Sam.""But three of them are married," I protested. "And one of them you've only just met!"Marie was having none of that. "Sam has left her husband and has started divorce proceedings; Megan's husband, Charles, is a lovely man but he's in his nineties and just can't perform and Lucy's husband is a complete twat who's only interested in beer and football. Do you know what he said to her when she suggested they should have sex? His exact words were, 'Who'd want to stick their cock into a wrinkly old snatch like yours?'""Angie," I pleaded. "Help me out here.""Sorry stud, you're on your own. Charles is impotent and Eddie is every bit the complete twat that Marie said he is. And now we've got the taste for succulent female flesh," she gave an evil leer as she winked at my wife. "We are as keen to get our lecherous hands on the lovely Samantha as you'll be once you've met her."I gave up. "In that case," says I. "Can I meet the other five of your friends first, please? It's just that I'd rather that my first words to those I've not met yet aren't, 'Hello, I'm Geoff; I'll be your cock for this evening'." The girls exchanged looks and nodded their agreement."Fifth:" I continued, "This 'idea', that now somehow appears to be a fait accompli, only came about because your friends have no sex partners. If any of them begin a sexual relationship outside this group then they drop out. It's not fair to their partners to continue."And last: for now at least. We never speak of this outside your friend group, and neither do the others. Now, those are my suggestions. You can disagree, amend or add as you think fit. This isn't a negotiation with winners and losers. I'm just trying to set out guidelines to stop something good from biting us in the backside. They settled back in their seats to think through what I'd said while I walked to the window and looked outside: It seemed like a nice day for a stroll before lunch so I suggested they join me, partly to let their newly discovered Sapphic libidos settle before I left them alone while I went to the pub. As I suspected, Angie had left a travel bag with a change of clothes in her car, just in case. I knew it was a set up last night! They went upstairs to change and came down together both looking great in light, floaty summer dresses that showed their figures off. Quarter of an hour later we locked up and strolled down the road together, chatting idly as we enjoyed the sunshine.Without really thinking about it, we ended up in the local park. Yes, that one. The one where I'd fucked Marie, out in the open, through the slit in the crotchless panties I'd bought her. The place where our sex life re-ignited, and the same panties she'd been wearing last night when Angie finger-fucked her.Angie made the connection too. "No fucking way! This is the park isn't it? Where you randy old bastards did the dirty deed! Show me the spot!" Marie took her hand and led her along the path that curved around to the far side of the lake. We came to the little shelter where you could lean and watch the ducks paddling aimlessly around and, more importantly, see anyone coming along the path. There was no-one there when we arrived, and Angie's face lit up as she imagined me taking Marie from behind at that very place only a few weeks before.Marie looked at me thoughtfully. "Angie is one of my 'special' friends, I'm here and you have my knowledge and approval. I think we meet all of your ground rules. Fuck her. You fucked me this morning and she blew you, so I think we owe her. Fuck her. Fuck her here and now, just like you fucked me.She stepped close to me and kissed me passionately, pulling my hand to her tits. I had no problem with that and groped them with the enthusiasm they deserved. Then she broke off and moved to Angie. She stood between her friend and the path and bent down and reached under Angie's knee length summer dress to pull down her panties. I'm certain from Angie's reaction that Marie copped a feel too.As Marie stood, she lifted the hem at the back of Angie's skirt to expose her slender, toned, walker's bum to me. "Go on, please Geoff. Fuck her for me. Then she moved to her new lover and they kissed. Hesitantly at first but then with real lust.As the girls locked lips, I unzipped and let my cock out of his cage. I moved forwards so he returned to the place he started his morning, hard and erect, lodged between her firm buttocks. I reached around and squeezed my hands between two pairs of tits in order to touch Angie's. She was bra-less and I hadn't noticed; I must be getting old.Marie grunted, "I've got these; you concentrate downstairs." So I did. I held Angie's dress up with one hand while the other moved between her thighs. She was already wet. I rubbed my index finger firmly over her tight little anus. She wriggled, but didn't pull away as I pushed the tip against the wrinkled sphincter.I told her, quietly, "Not this time, but soon, my finger and maybe more is going in here." She moaned into Marie's mouth. I moved my hand forwards, my finger sliding inside her damp little place that I had just got to know oh so intimately. She pushed back against me. She was ready, but we could take her a little further.Marie was kissing her neck and kneading her tits. I carried on finger-fucking her and rubbing my cock between her cheeks, and checking for pedestrians. She stiffened and I looked over her shoulder at my wife. She nodded; it was time. I put my hands on her shoulders and bent her gently at the waist and put my cock between her pussy lips. I moved him back and forth to get him nice and wet from the lubricant dripping from her cunt then I pushed gently forward.Angie pushed back to meet me and slowly I slipped all the way inside. Marie caught my eye. "This isn't love-making: This is dirty outdoor sex. Just fuck her and fuck her h

Aries Season Tarot Forecast March 20th - April 18th, 2025 In this episode we dive deep into Aries season, running from March 20th - April 18th, 2025. This season is a major transition point for the entire year! Fresh starts and new beginnings are here. The Sun moves into Aries on March 20th, 2025. Marking the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. Globally recognized as the astrological new year! Universal Energies, Different Seasons Both Northern and Southern Hemispheres experience the same zodiacal energies simultaneously. Farewell Pisces, Hello Aries: Shifting Energies Transition from the compassionate, creative, intuitive energy of Pisces. Aries season ushers in: bravery, ambition, independence, creativity, impulsivity, impatience, quick temper, and headstrong mood swings. Time for Action: From Planning to Doing Aries season is the time to act on plans made during fall and winter. "Go time!" - Plant, do, shift, change, or start! The completion point of 2024 is officially here. March 20th, 2025, marks the true beginning of the new year. The Tangible Shift: Dreams into Action The host's personal favorite transition - the tangible feeling of change. Wake up and things feel different - a call to action on dreams. Simple concept: take dreams and put them into action. Encouragement to take small or large steps forward towards goals. Small steps accumulate over time. The marathon analogy: focus on crossing the finish line, not necessarily being first. Pace yourself. What You Need to Know: The Current Cycle The Nodes of Fate: Pisces/Virgo Axis Continues Influence continues through July 2026. Focus on balancing feelings with astute processing. Discerning between feelings and facts. Navigating new and unusual energies. Importance of a relationship with spirituality. Working to release perfectionism or feelings of futility. Emphasis on tiny and mighty day-to-day actions supported by spiritual practices. Significant Shifts in This Cycle March 27th: Venus Retrograde Enters Pisces Venus passed her halfway point in retrograde. Emergence as the morning star after her "powerwash" from the sun. Evaluate what no longer serves wants, wishes, desires, pleasures, and finances. Potential for insights and answers on how to shift forward. March 29th: New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries Energetic lightswitch flickering on and off. Offering a truly new fresh start in the astrological house it occupies in your natal chart. This house has undergone a full eclipse season refresh, release, and restart (nodes in Aries/Libra July 2023 - Jan 2025). Exciting and seemingly softer than past eclipses due to prior release work. This eclipse feels like saying yes to an opportunity before feeling fully ready, with the Universe indicating readiness for growth. A "good growth" eclipse versus a painful one. March 29th: Mercury Retrograde Enters Pisces Mercury continues its retrograde journey, moving back into Pisces. Potential feeling of stagnation or moving backward when forward momentum is desired. Feels like revisiting old lessons or losing something again. Backtrack into Pisces may evoke feelings from the distant past. Not just about exes resurfacing, but a final cleanup of "ghosts of Christmases past." March 30th: Neptune Enters Aries - HUGE NEWS! Neptune spends approximately 14 years in a single zodiac sign (168-year cycle). Last time in Aries: 1861-1873. An energy signature no one alive has experienced. High vibration; Neptune as the higher octave of Venus, governing dreams, intuition, spirituality, and delusions. Capacity for cleansing, clearing, and offering massive dream and manifestation potential. Can also bring chaos and destruction for reimagining and rebuilding. Uncertainty about how this new 14-year signature will play out. Old ways are definitely up for destruction. Question: What new dream will we create? Personal impact: Focus on the house Aries occupies in your natal chart for bold new dreams. Emphasis on fresh, strong, new, and spiritually grounded dreams. Abundance flowing from imagination and magic. Call to honor ocean goddesses (and Aphrodite) if it resonates. April 7th: Mercury Stations Direct Relief from communication, schedule, and financial snags. This marks the third pass over the same ground in the last four weeks. Two-week post-shadow period as Mercury regains speed. The third pass offers the final lesson or blessing from recent events. Encouragement to stay present and grounded. Pause and take breaths before responding. Direct station in Pisces: deep feels, tears, release, and healing are prominent. April 12th: Full Moon in Libra Gratitude to the goddesses, eclipse season is over until September! A regular full moon for revealing and releasing (in that order). All clear for spellcasting! Libra focus: balance, people-pleasing, and surface beauty. Community call-out (with a nod to Kali Ma) for individual scales of Justice. April 12th: Venus Direct - WHEEE! Blessed be, Aphrodite is reborn! Stations direct in Pisces, bringing a dreamy quality. Tenderness, emotions, and tears likely herald the healing that has occurred. Tears of growth, gratitude, and honoring the inner child/teen and current soul self. This deep cleanse cycle returns "YOU" to yourself at a heart-centric level. Clarity on what is needed for more joy and abundance. April 16th: Mercury Moves into Aries (Again) The narrative continues, but with forward progress this time. Shift in communication to self-centric intentions stated clearly (possibly bluntly). Universe urging clear communication in leadership roles for self-empowerment and modeling equitable behavior. April 18th: Mars Moves into Leo - Exciting! Boost in physical energy. Inspiration and a fire are reignited. The "fill up" that has been missing. Mars (action, drive) finally in a fire sign (Leo) wired for being out front and adored. Potential for significant progress if small actions have been taken during Sun in Aries. Burning off "slow sads" - a welcome energy shift. The Nutshell Story of This Cycle Key takeaway: Take action. Follow excitement and listen to "no." Decisions won't be clear-cut; balance facts with intuition. Venus recharged, Mercury cleansed, Neptune in a new phase, Mars finally moving comfortably. Listen to your body - it holds the energetic score. Everything is changing for the ultimate best. Embrace evolution and change. "Grab the wheel" and direct the new energies. The path won't be linear, but progress will be made. Stirrings that 2025 is a "mash up of all the best parts of our life thus far" - a wild, liberating, blessed, and manifesting "zine." Supportive Practices for This Cycle Meditate Hydrate Move your body Aim for self-advocacy Aim for equity Anchor in your spirituality Pisces Season Recap & Aries Season Intentions Pisces season offered massive somatic healing potential and deep release. Aries season (Sun in Aries) marks a new beginning: rebirth of leadership, hope, potential, and the fire to ignite something wonderful. Cycle directive: Continue to remain present and focus on your vessel. Aries as the Athlete & Warrior: Prioritizing Your Vessel Aries embodies the athlete and warrior. Cannot stand for, protect, or create effectively without an optimally functioning vessel. Learning from athletes: value of repair, recovery, nutrition, and hydration. This cycle is a collective call to prioritize vessel care. Not about perfectionism, but celebration and respect for the soul's home. Caring for the body is loving and supports desired creations and actions. It's Spring! Emerge from the Underworld Emergence from the darkness may feel overwhelming initially ("too bright and too big"). It's okay to go slow ("throw on some shades"). Cannot stay in the "cave" forever. Take the step out. Evaluation phase is over. Feel the wild unknown where anything is possible Aries Basics: Mantra, Place in Zodiac, Element Aries' mantra: "I am." First sign of the zodiac. Cardinal fire sign. "I Can Do This! Let's Start Something." Aries' inherent drive to initiate. Excellent at starting things - "OFF AND RUNNING." Carries strong manifestation energy due to its "young," "new," and often "naive" energy. Prone to beginner's luck. Aries as the Warrior Wired for battle and a valuable ally. Relentless and fresh energy with "sassy salty vibes." Thrives on feedback and pressure - needs resistance. The analogy of two rams butting heads (establishing dominance, training, communication, play). Balanced vs. Imbalanced Aries In Balance: Fights to protect loved ones and the vulnerable; evolves into a benevolent leader (connection to The Emperor tarot); passionate, driven, enthusiastic, and inspiring. In Imbalance: Egocentric, puts self first; argues to win everything (even trivial matters); immature; stirs things up for the sake of it; needs feedback/pressure (workouts as a constructive outlet). Movement for Aries: Burning Off the Heat Aries energy is hot, fast, and furious and needs movement to release heat. Caution against excessive cardio, which can overheat the system. Analogy to a Jack Russell Terrier: smart, energetic, needs engagement and novelty. Think "neuro festive brains" needing stimulation and interest for focused engagement. Er ist flink, schlau und voller Energie – der Jack Russell Terrier!
At the age of 7, horse mad Andrea Rapke Knowles, was told by her father that if she stopped sucking her thumb he would buy her a pony. At the advice of a family friend with a beautiful barn on her property, a pony was chosen (a Welsh Cob terror name Gee Whiz), boarded with the friends and their training began. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Loma Alta, owned and run by Penny Wahler in Santa Cruz, California, and her first Warmblood was purchased to begin Children's Hunters / Equitation and a taste of horse shows. In 1989, they moved to G & G Stables in Los Angeles, CA with Rob Gage and Cyndi Grossman at LAEC. Quite a few amazing and life-changing horses took them around the state and beyond on the show circuit. Rob and Cyndi were amazing trainers and friends, as were the incredible assistant trainers, including Richard Spooner. Sadly, school took over and Andrea was then educated in Lugano, Switzerland and London, England, graduating with a double major in Art History and English Literature. Feeling passionately about the art business brought her to positions at Sotheby's, Christie's and Guggenheim, Asher, a NY & LA based art consultancy. Additionally, she received corporate training at WME & CAA in Los Angeles. Her love of art and design began in childhood where, at a young age, she was already attending auctions and picking fabrics and furnishings for her family's homes. This life-long interest led her to her first professional residential renovation in 2009, the creation of her own firm and the building of a business focused on true collaborations, a knowledge of the newest trends in design/build and a holistic and discrete approach to every venture. Now, she is bringing stable life back into the fold with work on Equine Residences throughout the US and abroad. She is involved in a multitude of charitable foundations focused on homelessness, animal care and rescue and childhood illness. She resides with her husband and two Jack Russell Terriers in Beverly Hills, California. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

A bonus episode from the Ranch Stewards podcast, this "Success Story" features Saco, Montana rancher Paul Williams. For full story, photos, and video content, visit RSA's website or YouTube channel.Water Weary Rancher ResourcefulnessHow community and the internet set one rancher's capacity to create ablaze.Birds chirp in no-man's land. A tall red barn, weathered paint but no hint of a lean, stands as the beacon welcoming you into the yard of Paul Williams, military veteran and newly invested Montana landowner. For all the silence, his yard is lively. A smiling Jack Russell Terrier looks up from the seat of an old ranch pickup. The reluctant Australian Cattle Dog keeps a wary eye on a drone capturing aerial footage, eager to grab hold if it gets too close. Crisply colored chickens waddle behind the slight buzz of their electrically charged enclosure. Through the fence line, tall green grass sways in the breeze. It is in this private sanctuary that Paul is carving out this season of life on his land north of Saco, Montana. Purchased just shy of five years ago, he immediately went to work remodeling and improving. High on that list was addressing water scarcity. Cue rancher resourcefulness. Faced with high costs and an undersupply of tradespeople to drill a well, Paul turned to his own hands and mind to solve the problem. Following hours of YouTube tutorials and some engineering assistance from a Great Falls, Montana company, Paul built a custom drilling rig powered by a 5-horsepower motor. “It's slow as the dickens,” he laughs, “but I've got lots of time.”Story continued at www.RanchStewards.org... A complete guide to finding a dog to perfectly match your personality and lifestyle. With hundreds of dog breeds to choose from, which one would perfectly suit you and your needs? Dogs are the funniest, cutest and friendliest ever! They're not called “man's best friend” for nothing, right? But with hundreds of breeds to choose from, which one would perfectly suit your lifestyle and needs? Let's find out! But first, while you're searching for your perfect canine companion, also keep an eye out for 3 Bright Side lightbulbs hidden throughout this video. Once you've found all of them, comment the time stamps down below! Good luck! Guard dogs 0:42 Family-friendly dogs 1:22 Athletic dogs 2:00 Lap dogs 2:34 Dogs for busy singles 3:06 Dogs for seniors 3:56 Dogs for an apartment 4:27 Dogs for multi-pet households 5:00 Dogs that do well in hot climates 5:36 Dogs that do well in cold climates 6:15 Hypoallergenic dogs 6:44 Dogs for a newbie 7:40 SUMMARY - If you're one of these people and you want your pooch to look after your home, you should probably consider a Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, or German Shepherd. - If you have a big family full of kids or just welcomed a newborn into this world, it can seem challenging to pick the perfect dog breed. But this is the territory where a Labrador or Golden Retriever would be completely unbeatable! - Consider getting a Pointer or a Setter since they're pretty much built for running. If you want something a bit smaller, a Jack Russell Terrier can be a good choice as well. - If you're looking for a furry cuddle buddy who will always be happy to laze around on the sofa with you, a French Bulldog or a Maltese is your perfect fit. - Some breeds deal with being home alone better than others: think about getting a Shar Pei or a Basset Hound. - If you're retired and have decided to welcome a dog into your home, a good option for you would be a Boston Terrier, a Pug, or a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. - . If the dog is small, it doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be happy living in smaller space. Consider getting a Yorkshire Terrier or a Bulldog for a small apartment. - Retrievers, Collies, and Spaniels are always happy to have company to play with, so they'll likely make a great match with your other pets. Terriers or breeds typically used in dogfighting can sometimes be a bit complicated. - Most Terriers can take the heat, and they come in lots of sizes. At the same time, St. Bernards, Samoyeds, and Boxers won't feel good in hot weather. - Breeds that prefer a colder climate normally have a thick double coat and more body fat. So, as you can probably guess, a good choice is a St. Bernard, Malamute, Husky, or Samoyed. - German Shepherds aren't a good breed for you due to their dry skin, which results in a lot of dander built-up. The same goes for long-haired breeds as well. - Getting a dog for the first time ever is both exciting and nerve-racking. There are so many breeds to choose from, and they're all so cute and adorable! If you're new to the dog-owning world, then a Labrador, Border Collie, or Poodle will be perfect for you. Hey y'all, so Matt wrote a kids book! Violet Archer and the Case of the Purple Martin is an early chapter book (the first in a series) that follows the investigations of kid detective Violet Archer and her investigative partner, Baba - a Jack Russell Terrier. Max read the manuscript and freaked out over the writing. Then he spent the next 6 months (and hundreds of hours) moving mountains to get the kids mystery book published. And holy sh*t it just came out! This less-than-typical episode starts off as an interview - Max reading passages from the book and asking Matt about his creative process. But the format quickly morphs into a conversation on trying to empathize with your kids, recognizing the ways in which we as parents sometimes unwittingly make life harder for our small people, and the power of story to articulate the internal life of a child. We promise we're not just log-rolling a book here. This is an interview with an Emmy-nominated writer/director - most of it about parenting - complete with the low-brow dumb humor that Max and Matt couldn't avoid even if they wanted to.Link to the book on Amazon!
Author CB Wilson shares with us her inspiration to write the Barkview Series. Each Title is breed specific in these Pet Cozy Mysteries. Of course, we wanted to talk about the Corgi inspired "Corgied To Death." We learn more about the corgi antics in the mystery and how her "couch potato" mother getting a Jack Russell Terrier inspired her to include breed attributes into her books - helping others learn more about specific breeds! She also educates us about some Easter Eggs hidden in her books! We are intrigued and ready to read more! In Part 2, I admit a painful lesson around frustration, shame and struggle between two of my Terriers; as well as the last six lessons my agility champion taught me about conditioning positive emotional responses, arousal states in dog training, seeing behavior as communication, the canine gut-brain axis, and most importantly: forgiveness of self and others. In this episode you'll hear: • DeCaff's Story, Part Two: A painful admission about my world champion agility dog. • Lesson 1: A dog shutting down during training is feedback to you. • About DeCaff's slow weave pole times. • Lesson 2: A dog's behavior is a critique of your training plan, skills and execution. • How I used time outs in the past. • About DeCaff's aggression redirection. • Lesson 3: Never sidestep the lesson the dog is trying to share with you. • About my a-ha moment with the “Smack Da Baby” tug game. • How I doubled my agility dog's weave pole times with positive conditioning. • Lesson 4: You can't truly help a dog you've labelled or compared. • How to acknowledge a dog's limitations but focus on their joy and strengths. • Lesson 5: Release guilt, shame and angst we have about our dogs. • When DeCaff jumped my sick senior dog. • My struggles training DeCaff after the death of my other dog, Twister. • About forgiveness for mistakes made with your dog. • Lesson 6: Focus on you and your dog's improvements. • About the lessons dogs bring to our lives. • About the link between gut health, a dog's reactive behavior and their neuroses. In this very special episode of The Daily Helping, we sit down with Billy Bean, the former major league baseball outfielder who played six exciting seasons with the Detroit Tigers, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the San Diego Padres. Now serving as Vice President and Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Major League Baseball, Billy's roles extend beyond the field as an advisor on LGBTQ and mental health and wellness issues. His memoir, "Going the Other Way," encapsulates his journey as a gay man in professional baseball. Billy's story begins in Southern California, where he was raised in a strict Catholic household and discovered his talent for sports at a young age. His rise to major league baseball was meteoric, but it was not without personal struggles. Coming to terms with his sexual orientation and the fear of public exposure weighed heavily on Billy, leading to challenges in his personal life and on the field. The loss of his partner, Sam, to HIV, and the fear of facing rejection from his father further affected his performance. Starting a new chapter, Billy moved to Miami after the '95 season, where he found companionship in his Jack Russell Terrier, Paco. The ensuing years were a period of personal discovery and growth, as Billy learned to embrace diversity and support his community. Coming out as gay brought its own set of challenges, but with the acceptance and love of his family, he found peace. Billy also shares his journey back to baseball, but in a new and pivotal role overseeing all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) efforts for the sport. His perspective on self-confidence, self-esteem, and trust, combined with his genuine love and inclusivity, has allowed him to make a significant impact on the game. Billy Bean's story is not only a tale of a remarkable career but also a deep exploration of personal transformation, acceptance, and the significance of his journey in his current role in baseball. The Biggest Helping: Today's Most Important Takeaway “We're living in a time of it's very, very difficult to feel self-confident and have self-esteem. And, you know, if you are a person that has purpose, loves what they do, is kind to others, you're going to find your voice and you're gonna be happy. It just takes a minute.” -- Thank you for joining us on The Daily Helping with Dr. Shuster. Visit us at shapedbydog.com Have you ever been in a dog training situation and felt you are in the wrong place as your dog is not responding like other dogs? Or have you ever thought that your dog is not like other dogs? It could be in a dog training class, a workshop or an online course, and you see other people training and think your dog doesn't compare. You are not alone, and it's why I often say to my students, “train the dog in front of you” and “meet your dog where they're at” so that you and your dog can be a confident team. In the episode you'll hear: • What I witnessed happen to a Jack Russell Terrier in group stays at a dog obedience class. • Why we need to believe what our dogs are telling us. • How to use the 5C Pyramid to protect and grow confidence for you and your dog. • Tips on how to know if a dog is ready for challenge. • That your dog not doing what other dogs do does not make your dog bad or you less of a trainer. • Why our dog's issues are opportunities to grow a deeper connection with them. • How to understand what the dog in front of you needs right now. • What I did with my dog Buzz at agility class when he was young and overexcited. • Why we can set goals, but our dogs set the pace of their training. Christie Leigh Babirad is a published fiction author of four books and a companion journal, and a poetess of two full-length collections, Sapphire Stars and Scarlet Secrets. Her work has been featured in Tiny Buddha, The Mindful Word, and Dan's Papers.Christie Leigh believes we all have many unique purposes in this life, the greatestone being “to love” and to follow that which stirs the heart. She adores her family, which includes a spunky Jack Russell Terrier, Alistair, wholikes to don sweaters and fancy collars in the chillier months. She credits her family, friends, and fans of her work for inspiring her craft, and that is one of the many reasonswhy she will always say that there is no such thing as being “self-made.” She stronglyfeels that we are a collection of the people who have come in and out of our lives andplaced love and belief in our hearts. The primary hope she has for her readers is that her words and stories comfort andinspire them, letting them know that they are never alone. She wants her readers toknow that their feelings have a real place, and that this life can be so much bigger andgrander, if we let love and optimism fully into our hearts. She also believes in an after-life and that we remain connected to the ones who have moved on to Heaven. She's aromantic and looks up at the sky often, marveling at its enormity and how the colors andclouds are always changing and the stars keep shining, no matter what. You can follow her art on social media @ the following sites to find out more about herlatest projects.Facebook @authorchristieleighbabiradGoodreads @cbabiradauthorInstagram and Pinterest @christieleighbabiradauthor
