Welcome to the final episode of Magic Month here on the Sunday Soother! I hope you have so enjoyed the wonderful guest interviews and my takes on magic. In this last episode,  I talk about the magic that can be found in connecting with your ancestors, beginning to heal ancestral traumas, and finding your place in the chain of the universe by understanding your place in your ancestral lineage. In today's episode, I give examples of how ancestral connections relate to magic; three stories of how I have connected with my ancestors; and then share several practical tangible ideas about how you can begin your own ancestral work.  After all, today is Samhain, and this time of the year is one in many cultures where the veil is considered thin and we are more easily able to connect with and honor our ancestors. Hello Soothers, happy October, and happy MAGIC MONTH!!! That's right, on the Sunday Soother, October is a theme of magic. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to dive deep into magic. What do you think of when you magic? Harry Potter shooting bolts out of his wand? A magician drawing a rabbit out of a hat? A witch stirring over a cauldron deep in the woods? Chanting spells in a dark room with a coven? As somebody who deeply believes in and uses magic in her life I wanted to redefine magic, help you to understand it practically, and why it's really not that different from topics you're already learning from me: intention, authenticity, inspired action, intuition. Tune in to today's episode to hear how I define magic, how and why I use magic in my life, my experiencing learning to trust in magic, and some simple ways you can start to practically apply magic in your own life (no,  you don't have to identify as a witch or do complicated spells with complicated ingredients).I'll also preview the three amazing witches I'm interviewing the rest of the month.Even if you don't believe in magic or are skeptical about it, I encourage you to tune in, the exercises and approaches I'll be teaching today can be used by anybody, whether or not you believe they're "magical."
