Under the sea…lives a conspiracy (maybe?) The biggest news of the week has been the missing, now found, submarine. We speculate which leads to a critique of one of the passenger's stepsons who chose to attend a concert and message an Only Fans model. Mal defends his disdain towards stepchildren. While old head beef continues XXL ushers this year's freshmen class. This leads to a conversation about Ice Spice, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye. YK Osiris is back with a nasty PR move. We recall some of our favorite ridiculous moments in hip-hop PR history. Young Thug is making his return and we give our predictions and Julian calls Gunna's first week sales. Nicki is back to beefing, but this time with Saweetie. Now it's time to get into voicemails which continues to be a relationship segment, but this time we add a “is this hip-hop” question. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this + more!

We had the pleasure of interviewing Cookiee Kawaii over Zoom video!Viral Queer artist and genre-fluid enigma Cookiee Kawaii is back at it! The New Jersey-based artist teams up with Rocky Snyda for her release, "Let Me Rock". It's a sultry slow it down and then ever-so-slightly speed it up sort of hip-rockin' groove. Left right, left right. Let's get it… No rush, though."Let Me Rock" is an invitation to feel every twist, turn, and tease of your wildest girl-on-girl fantasy. The track is part of Cookiee Kawaii's upcoming album Club Soda. Vol. 3 and immerses the listener in a euphoric world of seductive beats and velvety dipped sonics. Cookiee adds, the song is for, “people who love club music but want more of a R&B vibe.” Her windswept vocals collide with a power-punching rap sequence for an intoxicating Jersey club meets R&B tinged banger that truly takes it over the top.Cookiee Kawaii has received high acclaim from Vogue, Fader, BET, Billboard, XXL, Okayplayer, Flaunt, and New York Post to name a few. With more than 2 million monthly listeners and 1.4 million followers on TikTok, Cookiee Kawaii's single follows her recent release "Pretty Girl" which was added at #1 on Spotify's Global Club Music, #7 on Spotify's New Music Friday Dance, along with Beast Mode Dance, Dance Rising, and This is Frequency.Cookiee Kawaii became known outside of New Jersey with the jittering, mattress-squeaking club track "Vibe" which went viral in 2019 and became even more popular the next year with TikTok users. Unrestricted by genre, the vocalist's stylistic range cuts across Jersey-club, R&B, and rap. The daughter of house DJs, Vanice Palmer was born into music and has been recording since the early 2010s. After she adopted her stage name, a display of her love for sweets and anime, she peeked above the underground New Jersey scene and now reaches club/dance fans across the globe! We want to hear from you! As his streams, views and likes climb with every drop and his hit list of features turns from big timers like Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, Quavo and YG into legendary icons like Nas and Wu-Tang Clan, this Armenian, LA-born, Amsterdam-raised artist raps as the voice of his people. After graduating UCLA, finishing Pharmacy school and starting 9-5 work as a pharmacist, R-Mean met a major fork in the road; when his right hand man and business partner Alex Kodo sat him down and asked him to decide if he was ready to risk everything for music. They gave up everything, their cars, apartments, nights out, personal wants, and invested every resource to start grinding out gold. From the early buzz of his first project Broken Water, to the next level waves of his tracks “Lost Angels” feat. The Game to Wu- Tang Clan recruiting him to appear on their 2017 album. The Saga Continues to then performing weekly on B-Real TV after attracting the attention of Cypress Hill's B- Real, R-Mean consistently leveled up. In 2020 he teamed up with Berner for the fiery joint project. The Warning powered by "On God” feat. Dave East and "Kings" feat. Wiz Khalifa & B- Real, meanwhile packing out shows and tours across the US and Canada, performing on festival stages like Rolling Loud [MIA, NY, and LA] while amassing a loyal following. BIO He then linked up with legendary producer Scott Storch [Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Megan Thee Stallion], reaching critical mass with their track “King James” feat. Jeremih hitting 4.3 million Spotify streams and getting licensed by ESPN, while R-Mean's latest single, “Yalla Habibi” feat. French Montana, has already claimed 1.6 million YouTube views, 1M Spotify streams and charted at #61 on the Urban Radio Charts in April 2022. After his tribute hit "Letter to the King", dedicated to his childhood hero Nas, R-Mean received a FaceTime call from the legend himself and the rest is history. Sharing stages and collaborating on the unreleased single "Candle of the Devil,” Nas has blessed R-Mean with a life changing verse, but more importantly his support. Receiving praise from Huffington Post, XXL, HotNewHipHop, and many more. R-Mean stays busy racking up tens of millions of streams and views, collaborating with some heavy hitters on his newly released Storch produced full-length debut, M.E.A.N., [Pentagon Records). But that is not all. The philanthropic side of R-Mean has earned the support of Cardi B, Post Malone and the late DMX just to name a few for his powerful movement “Open Wounds",which started from a song with the same title. R-Mean sold tens of thousands of t-shirts emblazoned with the phrase "Our Wounds Are Still Open" to raise awareness of the Armenian Genocide of 1.5 million people and decided to establish a non-profit to continue giving back to his community as well as open his own merchandise storefront, recording studio and art gallery "The Pentagon LA” to create a space for worldwide artists like himself - committed to building legacy in honor of Hip Hop forefathers like Nipsey Hussle and 2pac,who lived and died for the voice of their people. This is the legacy of R-Mean. A true testament to following your dream, believing in yourself and not stopping regardless of the hurdles, R- Mean is about to show the world that HE is the ONE!

Sairas T:n ja Käsipuolen yhteinen matka VITUN ISO ROTSI -yhtyeenä synnytti maailmalle ”XXL” -albumin huhtikuussa 2023, mutta mikäli herrojen puheisiin on uskomista, tämä on vasta aivan alkusoittoa. You never have to guess what Tink's thinking. The Chicago-born songstress and rapper says it all in her music. She spits, speaks, and sings straight from the heart without filter or apology. At the same time, she breaks boundaries, dropping off bars with undeniable charisma and belting out hooks with show-stopping range. She can be romantic in one crescendo before getting raw in a bout of wild wordplay. This versatility consistently affirms her as a force in her own lane. Following her 2011 debut mixtape Winter's Diary, she dropped projects at a prolific pace, including Alter Ego, Blunts & Ballads, and Boss Up. 2014 saw Winter's Diary 2: Forever Yours arrive to widespread critical acclaim, landing on year-end R&B album lists from Billboard and Rolling Stone. It also yielded “Treat Me Like Somebody,” which gathered 64 million Spotify streams and counting. A year later, XXL touted her among its coveted “Freshman Class.” Following a stint in the major label system, she embraced independence again with Winter's Diary 4 [2016], Voicemails [2019], Hopeless Romantic [2020], and A Gift And A Curse [2020]. She collaborated with everyone from Sleigh Bells and Pentatonix to Future, G Herbo, 6lack, and K Camp. During 2021, she served up Heat of the Moment powered by “Rebel” [feat. Jeremih] and “Might Let You” [feat. Davido]. After raking in streams in the hundreds of millions and earning acclaim from Pitchfork, The FADER, HYPEBEAST, and more, she opens up like never before on her 2022 album, Pillow Talk. The 16-track project features artists 2 Chainz, TOOSI,Fabolous, G Herbo, RussMuni Long, Layton Greene, and is executive produced by Hitmaka. “Pillow Talk” is a tour de force of Tink's prowess as an R&B prodigy, encompassing technical elements of production, arrangements, and features and carefully balancing them against components such as exquisite lyricism and nuanced themes of being in love to self-love. From her early days signed with Timbaland and the restriction years of label politics, the 27 year old star is now declaring her autonomy in her career, and proudly owns all of her masters/catalog. With Steven Soderbergh's sly, sexy, and exuberant contribution to the musical genre coming to a close with the release of the third and, presumably, final film in the Magic Mike trilogy, Adam and Josh see the series off with the Top 5 Magic-est Mike Moments (01:15), a celebration of the films' many memorable dance sequences. Plus Josh's review of the new "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" (21:47), and Adam's thoughts on "The Integrity of Joseph Chambers (28:15)," the latest from former Brick nominee Robert Machoian ("The Killing of Two Lovers"). They also play some Massacre Theatre (39:50) and weigh in on "Magic Mike's Last Dance" (45:57) – with one considering it a worthy, if lightweight, follow-up to 2015's XXL; the other declaring it quite possibly the worst film Soderbergh has ever made – before sharing their final two Magic-est Mike Moments (59:26).
