Welcome back to another unapologetically cheeky episode of BUTT HONESTLY. This week, Dr. Carlton and Dangilo are serving up equal parts education, chaos, and fart jokes (literally).First up, the Booty Gang delivers a grab bag of butt dials: one member wants answers about HPV (because Google isn't always the best doctor), another self-identified BUTT MUNCH is worried about the risks of snacking where the sun don't shine, and yet another listener is just looking to chill out after their nightly “release.” And if that weren't enough, we've got a 60-something hero who's ready to swing the back door open for some long-overdue visitors. Bless.Meanwhile, Dr. Carlton dishes about his night out at Back Hair Night, where the farts were plentiful and the men were hairy. The guys also recap FilmOut SD—from The Orchestra and Plainclothes—because culture is just as important as kink. And of course, it wouldn't be Butt Honestly without a steamy, hilarious, and slightly unhinged wrap-up with their Love Language of the Week.

Adam's Paternity Leave continues, so we're going to dive into the brainmelty world where actors from the The Wire invade SVU and throw us all into a tizzy, as they occupy a shared universe. Patreon payments are frozen for the time being. A few resourceful new Munchies have figured out a work-around where you can join as a free member and upgrade from there to a paid account which charges you for one month and unlocks the back catalog behind the respective tier of the paywall. After that first payment, you won't be charged again until we're dropping new content (which we'll warn everyone is coming), so if you want more of this it can be had, along with access to the fully uncut episodes from 100 to present and Movie Club episodes. It is a wonder that "Underbelly" passed NBC's Standards and Practices Department for any number of reasons. It sexually objectifies real-life 14-year-olds, it is extremely racist, it makes offhand references to piss play, and it takes us on a mind-bending Pynchonian journey to an interzone where The Wire both exists and does not exist depending on the exact placement of John Munch on the Eastern Seaboard. Join Josh and Adam as they unravel a bizarre case involving Stabler, Munch, Sister Peg, Beck (wait who?), and the cast of Season 4 of The Wire and learn about vintage Ferrari pricing, chemical spills in Nunavut, and the mating behaviors of 40-something divorced Dads.Music:Divorcio Suave - "Munchy Business"Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Christine L, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Kate K, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Roni C, Nourhane B, Erin M, and Florina C - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too! What starts as a nostalgic trip down memory lane—featuring a 15-year-old LeBron recruitment song—quickly spirals into a whirlwind of NBA speculation, Chuck E. Cheese slander, and one of the most bizarre analogies you'll hear all week.KT drops a bombshell—Chuck E. Cheese is launching Chuck's Arcade, a retro-style adult arcade with a bar. The gang reminisces about the glory days of animatronic bands and ball pits, while KT paints a vivid (and slightly disturbing) picture of the dog and chicken from Munch's Make Believe Band “making love” while Pasqually begs them to stop fighting and just play the music. The team debates whether Chuck's Arcade is a brilliant retro play or destined to flop like CosMc's. Is it finally cool for adults to hang out at arcades again?
Du kan købe bogen her

While today he is best remembered for an iconic television character, today's Legend also has deep roots as a stand-up comic -- one with a particularly biting and intelligent approach. We're talking about Richard Belzer, who surmounted a difficult childhood through comedy. After moving to New York as a young man Belzer immersed himself in a burgeoning satirical scene, cutting tracks for the National Lampoon Radio Hour, serving as the warm-up comic for SNL, and even acting as the opening act for Warren Zevon on his Excitable Boy tour. Today, Belzer has a whole different fan base who discovered him during his 23 year run as Detective John Munch in the long-running Law and Order television franchise (beginning with Homicide: Life on the Streets). As played by Belzer, Munch was sarcastic, whip-smart, cynical, prone to conspiracy theories, and highly entertaining -- just like his creator. As always, find extra clips below and thanks for sharing our shows! Want more Belzer? Belzer's first appearance on Letterman broke him with a much wider audience and is a great sample of his style. https://youtu.be/r5uK9pGIzW8?si=G-_nnBFyVuv2kCds Belzer's character John Munch on Homicide: Life on the streets was streetwise, cynical, and very funny. Soon the detectives are dealing with booby traps, secret lairs with secret tunnels, poison-filled needles and poison-filled gas. After taking Elliot hostage, he admits to framing Harrison and targeting those who've embarrassed him. Benson tricks Stuckey into thinking she loves him by slapping the hell out of Stabler. The folk tales collected and rewritten by the Brothers Grimm may ‘seem to come from nowhere and to belong to everyone', Colin Burrow wrote recently in the LRB, but ‘this is an illusion'. In the latest episode of the LRB podcast, Colin joins Thomas Jones to talk about the distinctive place and time in which Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm lived and worked, as well as the enduring appeal and ‘vital weirdness' of the tales.Sponsored links:Visit the Munch exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery: https://www.npg.org.uk/munchSee The Years at the Harold Pinter Theatre: https://theyearsplay.com Hosted on Acast. Two recent books, by Peter Beinart and Rachel Shabi, discuss the response of Jewish communities in the West to the Hamas attacks of 7 October and Israel's subsequent destruction of Palestinian life in Gaza, and the shifting politics of antisemitism. In this episode Adam Shatz talks to Peter and Rachel about the moral rupture Israel's actions have caused, particularly along generational lines, among Jews in both the US and UK, and why the question of antisemitism has become separated from the larger politics of anti-racism, allowing the political right to claim this moral territory in defence of Israel.Sponsored Link:Visit the Munch exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery: https://www.npg.org.uk/munchLRB AudioDiscover audiobooks, Close Readings and more from the LRB: https://lrb.me/audiolrbpod Hosted on Acast. John has eaten some chocolate just before recording and now he's all glum. So it's up to Elis and Dave to get him out of his funk. Their options: 1. Take his trousers off. 2. Give him a wedgie. 3. Let him tell his anecdote about going to a folk gig and sitting in front of an annoying couple. One wonders which they'll pick? After the chunk funk (chocolate funk) has subsided, there's more premium bond chat, and after Elis's poor showing around Valentine's Day last week, dating expert LalalaLetMeExplain stops by to impart some romantic wisdom. If you have any of the following: some tips for Elis's love life, a mad dad, or a story about winning loads of money, then we want to hear from you. On today's episode, Nicole and Rich welcome a very special guest—Nicole's husband, Matt—for a deep dive into the oh-so-serious topic of edging. Rich shares the moment he walked into the iconic Superdome in New Orleans, where the Super Bowl is just around the corner. But being away from home isn't all glitz and game-day excitement—he gets real about the guilt of FaceTiming his kids at all the wrong times. Meanwhile, Nicole opens up about her daughter's tough experience with schoolyard bullying and the life lessons she knows she'll one day have to pass down to her son, Keegan, before heading out to have fun. And we have to ask—when the world is ending, are you fighting tooth and nail to survive, or are you throwing in the towel like Nicole?
