It is no secret that demand far exceeds supply in the word of fertility treatment, a gap franchises like Mate Fertility seek to close. But REI's, like Dr. John Storment, argue that the training process employed by organizations like Mate merely imply board certification, and oversimplify years' worth of education and training. Traci Keen believes that her company is serving the needs of patients with integrity and diligence, providing access to care that would be otherwise unavailable due to the lack of board-certified REIs in existence. Who is right? Is access to care, even if it is not in line with ASRM guidelines, better than no care at all? Is this the evolution of fertility patient treatment? Listen to the latest episode of Inside Reproductive Health to learn: How impactful the care-access gap is to the evolution of fertility treatment. Griffin press on the difference between private equity and venture capital's place in the industry. Dr. Stroman discuss how fellowship training in REI is absolutely necessary and OB/GYN physicians cannot be equally trained in mini-programs provided by organizations like Mate. Traci Keen argue the criticism of Mate Fertility's training program, how they provide an evolved model of care, and how they plan to increase accessibility of treatment. The public was split. Most wanted him dead. He didn't deserve to live, he killed 2 people, and shot another in the face. Another group of people, a smaller group, fought to save his life. Activists, professors, and lawyers fought hard. They knew he was guilty but they fought. One man fought the hardest. He traveled the world campaigning for his release. The world was shocked. They asked him: are you sure you want him to be free? Are you out of your mind? The New York Mets made it clear once free agency started that Marcus Stroman was not a priority for them, as they pursued other free agents like Kevin Gausman and Robbie Ray, before ultimately landing Max Scherzer. But when Stroman signed with the Cubs, it was for the exact type of contract the Mets based their free agency strategy on, a short-term, big-money deal. If the Mets managed Stroman's free agency better, could they have re-signed him after landing Scherzer? Host Ryan Finkelstein discusses what went wrong and if the Mets will come to regret not bringing Stro back. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
