It takes three to fill in for Tom – John Cantrell, Scott Miller, and Matt Reardon; man passes out in Oval Office during press conference about Ozempic; man who threw sandwich at federal agent found not-guilty; this week's blue wave across America; is this the Golden Age we were promised; Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene's redemption arc; Scott Miller discusses the future of school referendums; Tesla shareholders approve Elon's $1 trillion pay package.
AOTB hosts Josh and Roger kick back for a little coffee shop talk on a breezy Saturday afternoon. Join in as the boys talk about shutting up, creativity, and how Jeans and Salami come from the same place, bro.
A quality track from the new Jamie Woon album. You need to check the tune from Leif Maine & Lex Amor & Wu-Lu & L.A. Salami. Anti-War Reggae / Dub form Robert Ffrench reissued by VP / Greensleeves. Soul from The Quantic Soul Orchestra feat Alice Russell covering D'Angelo (the Red Astaire version) and Wanda Felicia. Unique style percussive styles from Gasper Lawal on Strut. Rap from T-Love (produced by J Dilla) and Freestyle Fellowship (R.I.P P.E.A.C.E who sadly passed away recently). A great Drum and Bass tune from Trakker on Bristol's Sofa Sounds and S.P.Y's classic remix of Zero7 feat Sophie Barker. Plus plenty more music treats.
American League Championship Series Games Three, Four, Five, and SixToronto Blue Jays vs. Seattle MarinersHeading back home to Seattle, the Mariners are just two wins away from reaching their first ever World Series. In their history, the Mariners have never been closer to glory than this moment, but that also means they've been stuck at this point before. Making their journey that much harder will be the fact that the Blue Jays are now desperate. Toronto cannot afford to drop these games, so they will need former Cy Young winners in Shane Bieber and Max Scherzer to rediscover their brilliance. They will need Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. to break out of his mini slump. And perhaps, they will need an unexpected hero to deliver in the biggest moments of his career.Early in this series, the road teams have found ways to dominate. That script will flip as the series continues, forcing a pivotal, winner-take-all game seven in Toronto.Seattle Radio KIRO - Rick Rizzs and Aaron GoldsmithToronto Radio SN590 - Ben Shulman and Chris LerouxAudio clips from MLB.tvAs always, thank you to Baseball Reference and SABR for statistics, box scores, background information, and much, much more.Catch you next time,P.C.O.

Mo Salami had it all... on paper.Six-figure salary, nice house, nice car. But 16-hour workdays and zero fulfillment had him living what he calls "apparent success" - when someone else decides what success means for you. Then he saw a sign in a London bookstore that changed everything. In this raw conversation, Mo reveals:• The exact moment he "burned the boats" and left his healthcare career• How he went from burnout to generating $1M in sales in 90 days working with Tony Robbins• The difference between "apparent success" vs "actual success" (this will hit you hard)• His proven framework for designing your ideal lifestyle using online business + personal development• Why 96% of people never achieve the lifestyle they want by age 65 (and how to be in the 4%)Mo doesn't sugarcoat it. Building the life you want requires stepping out of your comfort zone. But as he proves, you CAN curate the lifestyle you wish to create.Whether you're stuck in the grind or ready to design something different, this episode will give you permission to write your own story.Find all the show notes and links here: https://www.strategyactionshow.com/103

Gentry Lane, founder of Nemesis Global, joins the Nexus Podcast to discuss the strategies guiding adversaries in their targeting of U.S. critical infrastructure. Primary of which is the desire of countries such as China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea to displace the U.S. as the global hegemon, she said. To disrupt the U.S.' standing as such, these adversaries have chose cyberspace as a front where they're on relatively equal footing. They're doing so incrementally, Lane said, known as salami tactics. Salami tactics is a strategy of gradually cutting into an opposition's dominance by instilling distrust in institutions, utilities, or the government's ability to protect us. Gentry describes theses tactics, their effectiveness, and what critical infrastructure defenders should be doing to protect their systems and networks. Molly Yeh is the Emmy- and James Beard Award-nominated star of Girl Meets Farm on the Food Network; owner of Bernie’s, a bakery and cafe in East Grand Forks, Minnesota; and a bestselling cookbook author. Her new cookbook is Sweet Farm, 100 dessert recipes that feature oh-so-Molly flavors like tahini, marzipan, hawaij and halva, plus a whole chapter devoted to Midwestern cookie salads! Molly tells host Rachel Belle how her relationship to sprinkles has changed as she’s gotten older; how she, a Juilliard graduate with a degree in percussion, ended up living on a sugar-beet farm on the Minnesota/North Dakota border; what a cookie salad is; and her secret to being an excellent baker. Molly bakes beautiful, buttery, super-moist cakes, sometimes testing a recipe more than 30 times to get it right. All that cake talk got Rachel thinking about Cake Picnic, an event in March that went super-viral, where home bakers brought and devoured nearly 1,400 cakes in a San Francisco park! Rachel welcomes Cake Picnic founder Elisa Sunga to the show to talk about how the event was born and how she keeps the cake chaos to a minimum. Listen to Molly Yeh on the Greta Gerwig episode of YLM, talking about her homemade Funfetti cake! Watch Rachel’s Cascade PBS TV show The Nosh with Rachel Belle! Season 2 out now!
