On Episode 395 of The No Limits Selling Podcast, we have Violet Rainwater, an award-winning sales professional and founder of The Rainmaker's Way. Though she may seem like the epitome of success, Violet's journey was far from easy. Born Violetta Yurivnya Igolnikov, a second-generation Holocaust survivor in Saint Petersburg, Russia, she faced immense struggles as a child immigrant during the Cold War. These experiences ignited a fierce determination within her to achieve a better life and redefine success. By the age of 25, Violet had become a top sales professional, breaking records nationwide. However, despite her external success, an inner emptiness persisted, leading to a constant battle within her own mind. Join her on The Awakening Show as she shares her journey and insights on achieving true fulfillment and success. The conversation revolved around the effectiveness of video in sales prospecting, with Umar Hameed and Voilet Rainwater emphasizing the importance of understanding the target market's pain points and creating video content that addresses those issues. Violet Rainwater shared her insights on the transformative power of visualization and positive thinking. The group also explored the idea that sales is not just a transaction but an energy exchange between two parties, highlighting the significance of building trust and a friendship with potential customers. They also discussed the concept of tapping into the energetic plane for success, emphasizing the power of intention and aligning one's mental state with their goals. While a nice, sweet escape from reality can be a great read, so can a read about a fictional character having to escape from their horrible reality and get help from the folks who will bring bad guys to justice--if they can catch those guys in time, that is. Jessica R. Patch is one author you won't want to miss if you like your toes to tingle for reasons other than swoony heroes and all the liplock that can go with that nonsense--I mean romance.  Ahem. Yeah. Well, Jessica might have romance in her books, but it definitely plays second fiddle to a whole different kind of heart thumping! Listen in to find out more!   Note: links may be affiliate links that provide me with a small commission at no extra expense to you. What More Could You Want This Weekend Than an Exciting New Thriller? Whooeee! Just before the interview, I was listening to the opening of Jessica R. Patch's latest release, A Cry in the Dark, and man! If it wouldn't have been rude, I'd have been tempted to beg off the interview and just listen.  Well, and I was in the middle of another book at the time anyway, so... sigh. Jessica and I had a great time chatting about her love for justice, showing the beauty of redemption against the backdrop of man's depravity, and all without going overboard. She'll do her best to scare the hair off your head, but she's not interested in throwing out just anything for shock value. Is it just me, or is that beautiful news? Honestly, I probably should've cheered more.  Full disclosure: I was probably bobbing my head off in agreement. In addition to her latest release, we also chatted about Jessica's first book with Love Inspired Trade, Her Darkest Secret, her other Love Inspired books, and her next Love Inspired Trade novel... I think it was something about Garden Girls. My brain is shutting down.  I don't know about y'all, but I'm crazy excited to read all of them! Jessica did say that while her books could be read in any order, it is a better reading experience to start with the first in this series, so I ordered Her Darkest Secret and it should be here any day now. EEEP! A Cry in the Dark by Jessica R. Patch Deep in the Kentucky hills, three women have been found brutalized and murdered. But the folks in Night Holler have their own ways and their own laws. And they're not talking… Led to an isolated Appalachian Mountain town by a trail of disturbing murders, FBI special agent Violet Rainwater's determined to catch a serial killer with a twisted agenda. With locals refusing to reveal their secrets, Violet's only ally is Detective John Orlando. But even John has an ulterior motive—he's convinced this case is connected to his wife's murder. As they dig deeper, Violet uncovers a link to her own unresolved past. For years she's worked the cold case of her mother's abduction, which had led to her birth. The need to look into the eyes of the sinful man who fathered her consumes Violet. Until she can, she'll never have peace. Because she's terrified she might be exactly like him. In this chilling novel, when the present collides with Violet's mysterious past and John's tragic loss, they must unravel the warped, sinuous connections before the killer strikes again. But solving the case might not be nearly as terrifying as the possibility that Violet's finally found her roots… You can learn more about Jessica and her books (and get the first sneak peek at that new cover) by heading over to her WEBSITE.  Like to listen on the go? You can find Because Fiction Podcast at: Apple  Castbox  Google Play Libsyn  RSS Spotify Stitcher Amazon and more!

Did you know that the vast majority of issues that we have interpersonally, and in the workplace can be traced back to childhood trauma? Violet Rainwater is on a massively important purpose. Her realization years ago was that so many of us suffer from childhood trauma, and as a result, we have become terribly limited in reaching our true potential. The problem is that most people don't talk about this in the workplace. We focus on our reactions, the limitation of resources, egos, and mostly superficial items. Violet believes that if we all took a moment to go deep inner personally, to become more self-actualized, and to be vulnerable to share about the traumas that we've gone through, we have a much better chance of thriving in the workplace, realizing our true potential, and ultimately being happy. There's something called complex PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), which happens over a long duration. One of the greatest benefits to buying a franchise is the brand recognition, systems, and processes you inherit right off the bat. But, what happens if some of those systems aren’t fully functioning? What if the brand lacks a streamlined sales system?   This week, Emily chats with Violet Rainwater, sales strategist and founder of Rainmaker Way, on the importance of sales systems. They cover the questions you need to ask and the answers you should hope to hear to ensure a franchise’s sales systems are running smoothly and efficiently so new owners can make it rain. What We Cover    * Introducing Violet Rainwater, sales strategist and founder of Rainmaker Way    * Real-life example: the yoga studio without a sales process    * Questions to ask when evaluating a franchise opportunity    * How sophisticated should a franchise’s sales system be?    * What to look for when hiring a sales person or team    * The importance of trusting your intuition    * Sales strategies Violet implemented to help the yoga studio    * Business advice for women considering franchise ownership Resources We Mention    * Rainmaker Way Get Inspired by Violet    * “The important thing is to walk in eyes open and understand where you’re going to need to spend time, resources, and money.”    * “The most important thing [to figure out if someone’s a good fit for your team] is how they make you feel in the interview process. What’s their energy? What’s the vibe you get from that person? Chances are, whatever you’re feeling is what your customers will feel as well.”    * “Sales systems and processes are there to enable sales professionals to make it rain, to tap into new income streams and revenue streams, and to really maximize the brand’s sales efforts.”    * “It’s spending the time, strategizing, and coming up with ways to drive connection. I really believe the more you can connect with your prospects, the more likely they’re going to convert and become customers.”    * “Fall in love with the sales process. Get super excited about sales. The more positive energy you can put on that aspect of your business, the more it’s going to pay off for you.” What Do You Think?   We’d love to hear from you! Violet Rainwater is a passionate, connection-based sales strategist with an innate calling to serve women in business. Fueled by seeing women succeed, my ultimate goal is to offer tools and resources that foster women’s personal and business growth and development. Here’s why. Throughout my 20 years in successful selling, speaking and sales coaching, I’ve seen a gap between a woman’s most essential human needs and the resources to address them. In response, I’ve spent over two decades of devoted study and research on the topic. And there’s good news. I’ve developed the proven tools and strategies to close the gap: To help women in business to find freedom from anxiety, achieve their best lives, sell more and, of course, Make It Rain.
