The ladies are back for another “late” night episode, after a long eventful weekend. Mo & Mel are HOT, this Vegas heat is not playing this past week, but so is the sports scene. The ladies discuss the #WNBA All-Star Weekend, from the highs and lows, the Skills Challenge, Game & Fan Fest #WNBALive and the latest in the #LVAces news…from Whitehouse to magazine cover to new players. And #ManchesterUnited is coming to Vegas, say WHAT! And if you're in your #Barbie world, make sure to make it down to Circa Hotel before Sunday, wear your PINK! There is also some updates on #TigerWoods, #PowerBall is up to $1BILLION, the wait is on to see where Ohtani heads and the #MLB scheduled were released for 2024. And it seems like this season of Hard Knocks featuring the #NYJets may be less than thrilling, fans won't be too excited over less personal time and roster cuts not being filmed. It appears the Aaron Rodgers & his Jets aren't too happy about the upcoming camera's & taping. And of course the ladies showcase this weeks #SneakerDrops and #GirlPower to some ladies doing their thang! From Morgan - for this week's TLP submission, I chose Jordan Nixon's episode on Get With It called “Addressing Mental Health and Turning Pain into Power”. I chose this because I found that what Jordan had to say really hit home for me. As a former athlete, you always hear coaches drill into their players the idea of “Mental Toughness” and the connotation that if you can't handle the environment your in then you're mentally “soft”. Young Athletes need to hear, more often, athletes like Jordan talking about how important it is to prioritize your mental health! The stigma surrounding the topic needs to be beaten!
