Just because the Tour de France is over, doesn't mean the party's over! I'm back with Tom Southam and Luke Durbridge for this month's Race Communique. Tom and Luke have just got back from a puncture-filled Hamburg Classic, and the Vuelta a España is about to kick off! I love the Vuelta - it's the Grand Tour I raced the most in my career, and I've got to say it's my favourite. Southam and Durbo disagree, so we kick off by having a three-way head-to-head: Giro VS Tour VS Vuelta. Which is best, and why? I made my case for the Vuelta, the hardest Grand Tour by a long way…as far as I'm concerned. Luke reckons the Tour is the best because, well, because it's the Tour. The Giro's case was made by Southam, who just loves the drama - he's obviously never watched the Vuelta! In this month's PeloChat, Durbo goes through this year's transfers and gives us his take on who's going where, why they're moving, and what it might mean for the sport. Remco to Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe is the biggest move of the year, and the young Belgian superstar has definitely raised some eyebrows by moving. Will he clash with Roglič? Will they be able to support him to win the Tour de France? Only time will tell. Luke's teammates Dylan Groenewegen and Elmar Reinders are stepping down to TDT Unibet - a second division ProTeam! An interesting move in an effort to get the young Dutch squad to the Tour de France in the next few years. He's also got some insight into Tom Pidcock's Q36.5's squad and their signings; some big riders heading that way too. Lots of moves, but Durbo's across it. Southam's diving into the modern breakaway in this month's Talking Tactics. Things have changed a hell of a lot over the last few years in the breakaway; we don't see 20-minute time gaps any more, and the breaks are kept on a much tighter leash. As the level gets higher and higher, the quality of the lower division teams is getting better and better, and smaller riders are more of a threat in the breakaways these days. It's great, and I love the exciting racing where the breaks actually have a chance, but shit, it looks so hard. Of course, we wind up with the Communiquiz. Tom's quiz master this week, and it's about Summer Classics. You'll have to listen to the episode to hear how this goes, but let's just say…I had a bit of a shocker. Guys, I hope you like this episode. I love catching up with Durbo and Southam, especially when they're in the midst of the racing season; bringing you this insight is what it's all about.

Welcome welcome welcome to another amazing episode of The Qnow with Mark Bland and Jason Kull. This weeks guest is former candidate and political advisor to the show John Scheper! First things first, it seems that Biden is still battling the demons from the Debate a few weeks ago. Everyone wants him to step down and/or pivot to another candidate. But are there any that could potentially handle the onslaught from the Trump supporters. The guys discuss the debate, and the options on the board for Biden moving forward. Next up it seems that Project 2025 (we discussed on the last show) is gaining a ton of steam from the right people. It looks a like a doom and gloom novel that republicans seem to be alright with. It strips people of many services including public education? Now are they really gonna try and find a baby sitter now, when their kids were fine in school as it stands currently? Finally we have three so we are doing the Mid-summer classic Tournament of Pop Culture. This time we focus on baseball movies and which one is the best overall. Mark saw this bracket broke down somehwere else and couldn't believe that one movie beat all the others. The Qnow is setting out to prove what is the best overall baseball movie of all time!
Summer is upon us , I talk a little NBA free agency , draft , player movements. And my sneaky NBA finals pick. I also talk MLB all-Star game, and trade deadline. Plus, USMNT and soccer tourney. Enjoy

Anyway, this week is Connor's pick, and we're going all the back to the good ole' days of 1997 with the Summer Classic, "Men In Black", the third movie in the Will Smith Superstar Trifecta. Often forgotten as just another summer action comedy, but "Men In Black" has become the prime example of "They Don't Make Them Like They Used To". Join us as we take this trip down memory lane, and then have those memories erased over and over again. Follow Us On Instagram
In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Bew White lll. Bew, is Chairman of the Board of Gabriella White and it's brands, Summer Classics, Gabby and Wendy Jane. In 2013 he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Society of International Business Fellows and in 2021 Bew White received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Casual Furnishings Association. He is also the subject of the well-received biography A Summer Classic: The Bew White Story by Christopher Taunton. Bew graduated from Auburn University in 1972 with a degree in textile engineering. The phrase “outdoor living” had hardly been coined, as outdoor furniture was simply known as a table and chairs you would find on a basic patio deck. At just 28 years old, Mr. White left his job at his family-owned business, Avondale Mills, and started a sales representative company in 1978 called Vista Corporation, specializing in selling outdoor furniture. In 1987, Bew started multiple companies in an effort to expand from selling on the road to building a national brand. One of those companies was Summer Classics, which was created around Bew's thought of designing and manufacturing products that he would want for his own backyard. With a business model based on creating products that were consumer driven, would stand the test of time, and would not go out of style, Summer Classics officially took off in 1987. Episode 262 is about learning from our mistakes. Getting a PhD is hard but getting a PhD in life is even harder. Bew White is one of these people who earned their PhD of Life. He quit his family business to start his own, he worked an insane amount of hours when he was just getting started and he even got into a huge problem why all of this was happening. He wrote all his experiences in his book Summer Classic. Learning from our mistakes is what makes us. It's either you get stuck or you move forward. Sometimes we are alone and sometimes there are people who help us but at the end of the day, it is you who will help you get back up and running. Doesn't matter what pace, as long as you're on the go. Having faith and trust in yourself is what Bew talks about in this episode. Want to learn how to fall 7 times and get up 8?
