The Guardians have wrapped up April with a record of 13-15 and we're here to talk about some of the woes that have plagued the team so far, and round it out with some positive things to continue to look forward to. We've got another prospect for you! Recently added to the Guardians 40-man roster, Timmy Herrin's career and growth as pitcher has grown RAPIDLY in the last two seasons. From throwing 90-91 to now throwing 97-99, he is nearing hos goal of making it to the Major Leagues. Obviously there is precedent to believe that this is the case, Cleveland would not have added him to the secondary roster if they did not believe his potential can help the team in the long run, especially with how we have seen the front office covet 40-man spots this past season. Tanner shares a lot about his baseball growth all the way from when he was young, to playing at Cal State Fullerton and eventually being drafted by the Guardians. We discuss what it has been like for him in the Guardians organization, adding a fourth pitch to his mix, his healthy velocity addition to his fastball, and his absolute dominance of the strike zone this prior season that just ended. It's here! The Apex Jewel of everything that we have been working towards in this show; Zack Meisel was kind enough to join us to talk some ball. Zack talks about what makes José Ramirez so special, why Amed Rosario is a must have clubhouse personality, and the overall vibe of the team that has served them so well in this long, but joyous season. There's a saying in life that repeats far too often: "All good things will eventually come to an end", and sadly it is true. This is the last episode of this show for the 2022 season, as well as the last episode that will feature Chuck. Chuck is going to be stepping away to focus on some personal matters and I (Zac) fully support that as there is nothing more important in life than family.
