AWOLNATION is an American alternative rock band fronted by singer, songwriter and producer Aaron Bruno. The band had a tremendous crossover hit on their hands with the single 'Sail' from their debut album 'Megalithic Symphony' (2011) and the success continued with follow-up album 'Run' in (2015). Nestor is a Swedish melodic hard rock band, that formed in 1989 but didn't release any music until 2021. The band, fronted by producer and singer Tobias Gustavsson, makes a mix of classic and 80s inspired rock combined with a solid hard rock base. Unleash The Archers is a Canadian metal band fronted by vocalist Brittney Hayes (aka Brittney Slayes). Frank Turner is an English singer-songwriter with roots in the punk scene. He first made a name for himself as the vocalist for post-hardcore band 'Million Dead'. After the band split in 2005 Turner ventured into an acoustic-orientated solo career. As a solo artist Frank has released 10 albums, and all his albums from Tape Deck Heart (2013) onward have cracked the U.K. album top 5. FTHC (2022) even managed to conquer the top spot. Joe McGillveray is the guitarist for Scottish indie rock band The Snuts. After generating a grassroots following with the success of a few self-released singles, the band signed with Parlophone and released their debut album 'W.L.' (2021) to great acclaim and claimed the top spot in both the British and Scottish album charts. The follow up album 'Burn the Empire' did almost as well, peaking at the third spot, but it became clear that the band wasn't on the same page with their label. Luis Vasquez was a musician, singer, songwriter and producer who made post-punk records under the monniker The Soft Moon. Vasques grew up playing punk rock in California and formed his one-man band The Soft Moon in 2009. He released six albums since, the lastone being 'Exister' in 2022. Tarja Turunen is a Finnish classical and heavy metal vocalist who is most known for being the former singer for Symphonic metal band Nightwish. After her departure from Nightwish in 2006, Tarja focused on her solo career that combined elements from classical, metal and rock music. Pär Sundström is the bassist, bandmanager and founding member of Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Sabaton is known for writing powerful hevay metal songs that are inspired by (military) history, and in doing so have become one of the biggest metal bands in the world. Recently, the band released an animated movie 'The War To End All Wars', which is based on the songs from their album of the same name, which is being shown in museums all over the world. Beirut is the musical project of multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer Zach Condon. The Santa Fe born Condon has garnered a worldwide following with his blend of indie, folk, pop and world music, behind hit songs like 'Santa Fe' and 'Nantes'. For his latest album 'Hadsel' Concon set up shop in the small town of Hadsel in Northern Norway. Daniel 'DL' Laskiewicz is a heavy metal vocalist for heavy metal band Bad Wolves. DL started out as the guitarist for metalcore band Acacia Strain, before replacing Tommy Vext in Bad Wolves in 2021. Bad Wolves scored a massive hit with their cover of The Cranberries 'Zombie'. However, the relationship with previous singer Vext turned sour over the next few years and led to an ugly departure in 2021. 'Die About It' (2023) is the first album that has DL's full contributions as a bandmember, and it in part deals with the negativity surrounding the band over the past few years. Andy McCluskey is a vocalist, bassist, songwriter, and one half of English electronic duo Orchestal Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). The band rose to fame with the single 'Enola Gay' (1980) and took another step with their third album Architecture & Morality (1981). After a few commercially less successful albums (ones that are appreciated much more these days), other half of the duo Paul Humphreys left in 1989, leaving McCluskey as the sole remaining member of OMD, before disbanding in 1996. OMD got back together in 2006 and have since released four new albums to a resurging fanbase. The latest is 'Bauhaus Staircase' (2023), and we spoke with McCluskey about the album, the two stints of the band, writing hits like 'Enola Gay', political songs, doing everything with energy, the value of art, and a lot more! Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson is an Icelandic singer-songwriter whose intimate and soulful folk songs, combined with electronic elements, has made quite a few waves. His debut album Dýrð í dauðaþögn (2012) was huge in his native Iceland, where it is said one in ten owned his album. After translating the album into English on 'In The Silence' (2014) the rest of the world quickly followed suit. His most recent album is a lo-fi reworking of the 'Time On My Hands' album (2022), an attempt to strip back some of his songs and not rely on heavy production to make a song.
