About Alison Ver Halen:Alison Ver Halen and I am the owner and president of AV Writing Services. I graduated from Lawrence University with a degree in English and Psychology, as well as a minor in Theater, and although I didn't know it at the time, it turned out to be the perfect degree for content marketing: the English degree taught me how to use language and storytelling, while the Psychology degree taught me what drives people and how to motivate them to buy. That was several years ago, and since then, I have only gotten better at what I do. Not only do I write better blog posts, but I have added SEO and content strategy skills so that my clients' content has a better chance of showing up in online searches.
