TIMES ARE MEEPING We round out 1996 with the 25th anniversary of Madball's sophomore slammer: DEMONSTRATING MY STYLE. Rob Iler (actor, athlete) portrayed AJ Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos. Rob tells us about Demonstrating HIS Style on tha show...get it?!...sick. Madball's '94 debut Set It Off is a landmark in hardcore and music in general, so when it was time to make the follow-up, the band didn't just recreate the same formula a 2nd time. We reflect on that evolution with Matt Henderson and what sets this album apart 25 years later. Check out Rob on his show @PajamaPantsPodcast Check out Matt's current band @TheEulogyCA

On this episode we have a legend of my CD player and a bonafide Roadrunner All-Star, Roy Mayorga! Before he had tha message of tha Bhagavat with Shelter, flew free with Soulfly, or left rocks out in tha sun too long with Stone Sour, Roy formed an industrial punk band with fellow former Nausea member John John Jesse and Winter guitarist Stephan Flam. This trio of heros released their full length as THORN entitled Bitter Potion in tha spring of 1995 but before THAT...released an EP of Don Fury produced demos on Lungcast Records called She Rises Like tha Sun. We speak with Roy about being Thorn again and Lungcast Records head honcho Neil Burke about releasing their EP! Sick.
In a special 10 year anniversary episode we look back on a release by one of Roadrunner's prestigious platinum selling bands - Theory of a Deadman. Band leader Tyler Connolly and frequent collaborator Krsy Fox break down the writing process of the album and the aftermath of success in an all new Meep Meep!
Blue Mountain emerged from tha washboard splinters of HILLTOPS which featured future Wilco mainstay John Stirratt. B. We learn all about the before, during and after with Blue Mountain's Laurie Stirratt and Wilco's John Stirratt who collaborated throughout their musical careers!
Continuing tha International Tour we go from Salem in tha U.K. down closer to tha equator in Brazil - Garage Fuzz!!! GF were one of tha flagship bands in Roadrunner's mid-90s attempt at expanding their South American market and Brazil seemed like tha perfect place between Sepultura and tha recent explosion of SHELTER. Garage Fuzz released an album in '95 on RR called "Relax In Your Favorite Chair" that is tha more punk side of "POP PUNK" and would show hints of tha rock 'n roll powerhouse they would develop into later! Guitarist turned vocalist Sesper tells us about the experience of the band coming together, being signed, making the record, and the aftermath and there ain't gonna be nothin' after that, so let's MEEP!

Plus living legend GGGarth Richardson reveals his method of getting those terrifying vocals out of Jonny. Turns out?...it's not sweet treats.
CREEPIN' 'n MEEPIN' this week with Cortland, NY's favorite sons: SHANK 456. Originally known as Creeper, they had to change their name due to another Creeper existing. 3 years later...another Shank would too!
