In this episode, we dive into the often messy relationship many of us have with the scale. We talk about the emotional and psychological stuff that comes up when we weigh ourselves, sharing our own experiences, routines, and even the little games we play to make sense of the number staring back at us.We remind ourselves (and you) that weight is just one piece of the health puzzle, and that fluctuations are totally normal, whether it's from what we ate, how hydrated we are, stress, or hormonal changes. We also get into the pressure around body image and how easy it is for the scale to mess with our mindset. We share some practical ways to deal with scale anxiety, like weighing at the same time, paying attention to other health markers, and learning to see the scale as a tool, not a verdict on your worth. Overall, we encourage taking a more balanced, compassionate approach to health instead of obsessing over one number. We wrap things up by sharing our current health goals and talking about why consistency and healthy habits matter more than perfection.Products Mentioned: Clean People Dryer Sheets

In 2021, Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York allowed Virginia Giuffre's civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew to proceed, rejecting the Duke's attempts to have the case dismissed. Andrew's legal team had argued that Giuffre's 2009 settlement agreement with Jeffrey Epstein protected him from liability, but Kaplan ruled that the document's language was too vague to guarantee immunity for the prince. The judge also rejected efforts by Andrew's attorneys to delay proceedings or challenge jurisdiction, stating that service had been properly carried out and that the court had the authority to move forward.Throughout the pretrial stages, Judge Kaplan issued several pointed warnings to Andrew's legal team, cautioning them against what he saw as stalling and procedural gamesmanship. At one point, he rebuked their reliance on “technical arguments” instead of addressing the substantive claims, making it clear he would not tolerate obstruction. His firm handling of the case underscored that no one, royal or otherwise, was above the law. Ultimately, the case never went to trial—Prince Andrew settled with Giuffre in early 2022—but Kaplan's rulings were pivotal in ensuring that the lawsuit could not be quietly swept aside.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

With Stacey away, we're bringing back our favourite stand-in co-host Mark Laidman (aka Stacey's husband)! Naturally, Kayla and Mark host one of the most entertaining and fun episodes, mostly just to bug Stacey. This one's packed with hilarious games you can play along with (that Stacey wishes she was playing). Mark opens up about what he does when he misses Stacey, Kayla declares Britney Spears one of the greatest singers of all time, Mark proves he is shockingly good at sounding like a motorcycle, and Kayla questions whether China is actually a country. Classic. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
This episode is a little different from our usual fare: It's a conversation with our head of AI training Alex Duffy about Good Start Labs, a company he incubated inside Every. Today, Good Start Labs is spinning out of Every as a separate company with $3.6 million in funding from General Catalyst, Inovia, Every, and a group of angel investors from top-tier AI labs like DeepMind. We get into how Alex learned some of his biggest lessons about the real world from games, starting with RuneScape, which taught him how markets work and how not to get scammed. He explains why the static benchmarks we use to evaluate LLMs today are breaking down, and how games like Diplomacy offer a richer, more dynamic way to test and train large language models. Finally, Alex shares where he sees the most promise in AI—software, life sciences, and education—and why he believes games can make the models we use smarter, while helping people understand and use AI more effectively. If you found this episode interesting, please like, subscribe, comment, and share.Want even more?Sign up for Every to unlock our ultimate guide to prompting ChatGPT here: https://every.ck.page/ultimate-guide-to-prompting-chatgpt. After years of waiting and anticipation building for its ultimate release, Hollow Knight Silksong is FINALLY out, and Sean has played at least the first few areas. How is this game for newcomers to the series? Does it make it easy to get into the flow of things? And how long does it take to get difficult? (Not very long). Once again, Xbox Game Pass is under fire this time from former Xbox executives who are concerned about its effects on first-party developers and what it means for returns for the actual game makers compared to what they would receive in the traditional model, where gamers would buy the games instead. Is this the true killer of gaming? Or is it actually something else that gets brought up less (Free-to-Play Games, maybe? Hey friends, welcome to this week's show! This week, Spaz, Julie, Thorston, Jacob, and I talk about free-to-play games…eventually. Her conduct, while enigmatic, suggests a depth of knowledge we may not be privy to. Given her… unique condition, such implausible proficiency may, regrettably, be within reason.Regrettably, ENTITY3 succeeded in dismantling the auditory interception array installed during the prior cycle. Although the network has since been reestablished, the resulting audio fidelity is markedly diminished and may impair precise transcription efforts. On a more promising note, we have successfully achieved a stable channel for direct optic observation while maintaining cloaked presence. Unfortunately, trans-spatial anomalies still preclude any form of visual recording, necessitating detailed manual documentation of both appearance and activity. It is anticipated—indeed, all but guaranteed—that AGENT23 will once again forgo objective reporting in favor of whimsical editorialization. Please remind her, in advance, that “mystique-to-mischief ratio,” “intensity of raw allure (her phrasing, not mine),” and references to “spook-chic silhouettes on parade” do not constitute valid observational metrics.
