She is a PhD candidate at Adler University conducting dissertation research on adult children whose parents had a history of domestic violence and whose divorce and/or custody dispute was high conflict.  Rachel blogs for Psychology Today, is an adjunct professor at Adler University, and  has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bustle, Fatherly, and US News & World Report. Rachel is searching for adults who experienced domestic violence as children by one parent towards the other, whose parents' divorce and/or custody dispute was difficult and/or conflictual, and visitation/parenting time with the violent parent was required. If you can answer yes to the questions below, Rachel would like to interview you via Zoom about your experience.•Did you witness/experience domestic violence (DV) perpetrated by one parent towards the other in your childhood?•Did the parent who perpetrated the DV exert power and/or control over the other one?•Did your parent's divorce or custody dispute go through the family courts?•Was the divorce/custody dispute highly conflictual or drawn out for several years?•Were you required to have parenting time/visitation with the parent who perpetrated the DV?•Are you between the ages of 26-38?
