As a first-year teacher, I found immense comfort and guidance from the hosts, Andrez and Kevin, as they shared their experiences in setting up their classrooms and tackling the first week of school. Their unique perspective from the Latinx community adds depth and richness to the topics they cover, all while maintaining a lighthearted and entertaining vibe. This podcast has quickly become one of my favorites, and I eagerly await each new episode.
One of the best aspects of The Qu? Spooky! Podcast is how it feels like you're sitting down with your primos (cousins) listening to captivating stories around the dinner table. Andrez and Kevin have a knack for storytelling that instantly draws you in and keeps you engaged throughout each episode. Their humor and lively personalities shine through, making even spooky topics feel approachable and enjoyable. In addition to covering folklore from different cultures, they also discuss true crime events in Latin and Central American countries, offering a well-rounded listening experience.
If there's any downside to this podcast, it's that there aren't enough episodes released on a regular basis. While understanding that life can get busy for podcasters, I wish there were more frequent releases to satisfy my cravings for their content. However, it's clear that Andrez and Kevin put a lot of effort into their episodes, researching their stories and providing sources for listeners who want to delve deeper into the subject matter.
