With the firing of Joe Woods, the Browns Front Office finally, finally wakes up and smells the coffee. But it begs the question, what took them so long.Mike and Brook review the failings of both Joe and HC Kevin Stefanski.  Especially in light of the Clowney revelations and the lack of any accountability.Mike owns up to his own mistake in not realizing that Joe Woods WAS a DC with the Broncos for two years in '17 and '18.  He was so successful that he was let go and picked up with the 49'ers as a D-Secondary Coach.  Hmmmm, well Mike didn't know that, and it seems neither did the Brown's.

In this episode, Mike hosts Jeff Weiss and Bill Lawrence.  Once again, they discuss the incompetency of the Defensive Coaching, and why Joe Woods still has a job.  They also push back against some of the sports talk spin like 'the players need a good kick in the can", or "why can't the Players take a stand" as if the job of the Players is to make up for the failure of the Coaching.

Another Monday and another predictable Brown's loss.  Great scripted start on first drive and then the Offense goes to sleep, followed by another debacle by the Defense.  Is it Coaching?  You bet it is.  With four All Pro's on the Defense, where oh where is the Coaching?  Or is this just another example of the NFL 'Peter Principle' at work.  A promoted Coach who has reached is level of incompetence.  Coaching are supposed to make players better not worse.  Additionally, they shouldn't look confused.  Pundits, say it is not that simple.
