Hello and welcome to The Power of You! My name is Ashley Ta.I am an Army Veteran, an Army Wife, a mother of three and a mindset/transformation coach. I have been on my own transformational journey since January 2014.I started my journey overweight, unhappy, and unsure of if I would ever truly be able to find my own power.I have struggled most of my life with low self-esteem, and was bullied a lot as a kid for my weight/size. So when I started my journey in 2014, my sole focus was just to lose the weight I gained after having my first child (and gaining 80 lbs). But throughout my journey (and a total of three babies), I have learned so much about myself. More than I was ever expecting to learn. So that is why I wanted to create this podcast. To share what I've learned over the last 10+ years in my journey, and to continue to inspire, encourage. motivate and help other women find and discover their own power and magic, from the inside out.I hope you love my podcast, and everything I share here. And if you do, I would love so much for you to leave my podcast a review, or come share any take aways with me on my Instagram: IG: @therealashleytaBut again, thank you for being here. I love you! And remember...take care of yourself... from the inside out! XO, Ashley Ta

Text me, bestie! In today's episode of "The Power of You", I will be sharing why it's so important to listen to your body after a significant event that requires you to pause and let your body heal and recover.Maybe that's after a surgery, a illness, or maybe even childbirth. But listening to your body, respecting its needs, and allowing yourself to ease back in to your habits and routines is critical.I know it's not always ideal, and sometimes we are made to believe we should just "push through it", but I'm here to remind you that there is great things to come from honoring and listening to your body, and embracing the perfectly imperfect journey we may find ourselves on.Enjoy!

I am so excited, and beyond grateful for everyone who comes back each week to listen to what I have to share here! Text me, bestie! In today's episode, I am serving up a little *reality check*, and I know we don't like to hear stuff that will make us reflect inward... but sometimes, I know we need to hear it. So, let's talk about why you're not seeing the results you want.I just recently had this conversation about why I wasn't seeing the results I am after, and it turns out, I am the one stopping myself. I am the one skipping steps that I know are important. I am the one avoiding the work I know needs to be done. So, this was my reality check to myself too.It might sting a little bit to hear the answer... but you know what needs to be done. So, LET'S DO IT! Follow me on Instagram: @therealashleyta and if you are loving my podcast channel, I would love if you left a review on that platform you are currently listening on .But until next week, take care of yourself from the inside out
Text me, bestie!Imposter Syndrome... have you ever experienced this before?Maybe you are feeling like everything you achieved was just by luck?Maybe you feel like a fake, or a fraud, or like that you don't know what you are talking about?Maybe you are discrediting all your accomplishments or success and don't feel like you deserve it.Well, you deserve it ALL! You DO know what you are talking about and you worked HARD as heck to achieve all those things... SO DON'T FORGET IT!
Text me, bestie! It's almost been a month since I decided to take a step away from Instagram (for a month). In today's episode, I talk about what I took from my month away and also share some insight on how I feel social media/technology is an energy exchange and why we should create and honor our boundaries we create around them.Make sure you are following me on Instagram @therealashleyta to hear more about my time off social media, and to hear about what's coming next for me.Love you!XO, Ashley Ta
Text me, bestie! Are you ready to be a Consistency Queen?Listen, as someone who started her journey back in 2014 and really struggled with creating any type of consistency... I get it. It's hard.It feels overwhelming, it can feel defeating, and it can feel like you take 5 steps forward, just to take 6 steps back. I get it, I really do.And often, I like to put myself back in my shoes from when I first started my journey and ask myself, "What did that version of me need when I was first starting?"This was it... I needed to hear that consistency didn't mean perfection.I needed to hear that I didn't need to implement all or nothing.I needed to hear that it's okay to take things slowly, and in pieces.I needed to hear this.So that's why I decided to create my new digital guide + community, "Consistency Queen".
Text me, bestie! In today's podcast episode I dive deep into something that can feel uncomfortable (I know it is for me), but recognizing it is a powerful step in addressing it

Text me, bestie!I started my weight loss journey at 235 lbs back in 2014 ( I was a "New Year, New me" girlie). But when I started my journey, loose skin never once crossed my mind.My intentions were simply: let me lose this weight, and nothing more.Back in 2014, I never really heard or saw women or influencers really talking about this, which is why I honestly never really expected it.But now, after three kids and losing over 95 lbs, loose skin is a hard reality for me.So many feelings, thoughts, and emotions to process and sometimes it can feel like I am alone in this. But I know I am not, and I know that I can (and will) use my platform to share more about how I am navigating this part of my journey. If you're ready to hear it how it is... lets get into it.XO, Ashley TaIG: @therealashleytaGmail: therealashleyta@gmail.com
Text me, bestie!I recently reposted a reel by another creator who was talking about being the default parent in her household, and how exhausting it can be.And SO MUCH SAME. Which is why I shared it, because I resonate so much with the feelings and emotions that come attached to that. It's honestly been so hard for me to navigate it the last year (since becoming an Army wife), and it's been a challenge for me to create something for myself (my business), and be the person who (usually) is responsible for managing, organizing, and doing everything for the kids.Make no mistake, my husband is a TERRIFIC husband and father, and him going to work to provide for us is something that we always appreciate. I support him in anything and everything he does. as he does for me.But that doesn't diminish my feelings and emotions as the default parent (who is also now going to school herself).I have a lot on my plate, and a lot on my mind...so, lets talk about it?And if you make it through this podcast episode, 1st off, thank you for listening. But 2ndly, come find me on Instagram and tell me TWO things that YOU are going to plan for yourself in the name of self-care (I share mine in this episode). Can't wait to hear what you plan for yourself. But please just know mama... you are not alone. I feel you. I understand you. I see you.Take care of yourself, from the inside out!XO, Ashley TaIG: @Therealashleytatherealashleyta@gmail.com
Text me, bestie! Are you ready to enter your self-love era If you answered yes, LET'S GO!Self-love was something I honestly always assumed I would *magically* have after I lost weight. But I was truly shocked to discover that even after losing 95 lbs, Self-Love was still something I was having trouble with.So after years of allowing myself to really focus on self-love, and allowing myself to learn, and unlearn, I feel I am FINALLY in a place where I can show myself TRUE self-love. That means showing myself compassion, respect, listening to what I need, and continuing to be my own number one fan!And I am so happy to take what I have learned, and develop this 7 day course to help YOU on your path to self-love. You will have LIFETIME access to the audio trainings, and the workbook. Which means you can listen as many times as you want/need (because repetition is KEY).And as always, please feel free to DM me with anything that comes up for you in listening to these podcast episodes, I would love to hear more about what are feeling/thinking as you go through this course. In My Self-Love era/Mindset Makeover Bundle:https://ashleyta.thrivecart.com/self-love-eramindset-makeover-bundle/In My Self-Love era 7-day course *SALE* (Usually $111):https://ashleyta.thrivecart.com/in-my-self-love-era/Email: therealashleyta@gmail.comIG: @therealashleytaTake care of yourself, from the inside out.XO, Ashley Ta
Text me, bestie!Today's episode is open diary style as I share some of my thoughts/experiences with extreme burnout over the last 10 years. So since we are coming up on 3 months into the New Year, this conversation felt important for me to have here on the podcast.Because it is so important to recognize the signs and warnings of burnout within ourselves BEFORE we actually get to the point of burnout. Please also feel free to follow me or DM me on Instagram, @therealashleytaand remember, take care of yourself, from the inside out! XO, Ashley Ta
Text me, bestie!Maybe this is something you haven't really put much thought into? And if that's the case, it's okay... I don't blame you.But back in 2014 I became aware of my own victim mentality, and it truly was an eye opener for me. Because it truly was something that was holding me back.In this episode, I will talk about how to recognize if you are falling into the victim mentality, how to change your focus, and ways to continue to work on escaping that mentality. As I also mentioned in todays episode, here are the 6 reflective questions I asked to help you understand/recognize if you are letting a victim mentality hold you back:1. Do I often find myself blaming others or external situations for my problems or setbacks?2. How do I respond to challenges or setbacks? Do I tend to give up easily or become overwhelmed?3. Do I believe that I have control over my own life and the ability to make positive changes?4. Am I willing to take responsibility for my actions and the consequences they may have?5. Do I tend to focus more on the negative aspects of my life rather than looking for potential solutions or opportunities?6. What beliefs or thought patterns contribute to my victim mentality? How do they influence my behavior and choices?I hope these reflection questions are helpful, and as I also shared, if you are wanting to put more focus on your inner critic and limiting beliefs, you can now access my "Mindset Makeover" 5-day self paced course for $22. https://ashleyta.thrivecart.com/5-day-mindset-makeover/But as always, thank you so much for listening. I truly so appreciate the love and support!Take care of yourself, from the inside out!XO, Ashley Ta

Text me, bestie! This is a replay of an episode I shared back in June, but as we approach the holiday season, I feel like this episode is a very valuable one! Don't forget to check in with yourself, like REALLY set some time aside to gauge how you are feeling and what you might need more of.Here is my check in question list you are more than welcome to utilize yourself:-What is taking up most of my headspace at the moment?-Am I struggling to keep my daily routine? -What am I doing today that makes me happy? -Have I been doing any physical activity lately? -Am I sleeping well enough at night? -Am I eating regularly? -Am I fueling my body with the foods it needs to feel good?-Am I drinking enough water? -Am I withdrawing socially? -Are my emotions up and down lately? -Am I losing interest in activities I usually enjoy? As I also mention in this episode, here are the check in questions I usually ask my kiddos you can also utilize:What is something you are super proud of yourself for doing this week? (So I could celebrate that WITH them). What is something that made you happy or smile today? Has anything specific been making you feel not so happy? What was the best part of your day or week? What is one way you were kind to yourself today, or this week?Has anything felt hard or confusing for you this week? (Again, this was an important I listened to so I could be more aware of what things there were feeling challenged with). As always, please take care of yourself, from the inside out!
Text me, bestie! If you are planning a New Year resolution, or have intentions to start working for a better, healthier version of yourself in the New Year, I love that for you!And I don't want you to let anyone give you crap or discourage you from that! But in addition to your physical aspirations and goals, don't forget that a part of your health journey is your mindset, your inner dialogue and your self beliefs.Something I wish someone would have told me when I started my own journey back in 2014.And that is why I wanted to create a 5 day course designed to help women understand, challenge and overcome their limiting beliefs and their inner mean girl.If this sounds like something you will like access to, I would love to have you be apart of it! Email me at therealashleyta@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram @Therealashleytaand I would love to send you more information on joining and starting your own mindset makeover going into the new year!
Text me, bestie! This is a topic I feel very passionate about sharing, because this is something I myself have been working on for a long time. So anytime I can share, speak and teach about this topic of overcoming, understanding and challenging your limiting beliefs, I love to create the conversations to help you think on your own limiting beliefs. As I shared in the episode, if you wish to check out my guided reflection journal, you can do so here: https://a.co/d/bCMhOWgAnd if you wish to receive more information on my 5-day course on limiting belief and your inner mean girl, feel free to email me and I will provide you with more information on that as well: therealashleyta@gmail.comLimited spaces for this course, so don't miss out! It will be so empowering and very powerful and I hope to see you there!! XO, Ashley TaIG: @therealashleyta
Text me, bestie! In this episode I want to encourage you to heal your inner child, but I also want to remind you to give yourself permission to take as much time as you need.Because healing of any kind takes time, and this is no exception. You will have to unlearn, rewire and forgive yourself, and maybe even others in this journey to healing your inner child, and as uncomfortable, sad and painful as healing can be, I also want to to envision how great you will feel once you start to make that peace.IG: @therealashleytaWant to join my upcoming coaching group?Start date: Nov 6th, limited spaces!DM me on instagram or email me at therealashleyta@gmail.com for more information! Text me, bestie!I know not all of us lose ourselves in motherhood, but some of us do.And if you have, please know that you are NOT alone. Also just remember that finding yourself, or rediscovering yourself again in motherhood is a continuous and evolving process. It requires nurturing your own identity, prioritizing your self-care, setting and holding your boundaries, cultivating supportive relationships, reconnecting with your goals and passions and setting realistic goals for yourself. But if there is something you want for yourself, or a hobby you love, or a passion you love to pursue. Go for it. Chase it. DO IT!You don't have to feel guilty for wanting your own identity. You are a mom, yes.But you are not JUST a mom.

Text me, bestie! In today's episode I share how to navigate through life changes, as well as share some big news with my special guest (MY HUSBAND)!
Text me, bestie! In today's episode I talk about refusing to focus and give power to my insecurities.I have lost a significant amount of weight, and after a big weight loss and three kids, I definitely have my fair share of loose skin. It's been a constant battle between my skin and I,but I've also been doing a lot of mindset work around this over the years and I discuss that in today's episode. It's definitely easy to focus and give energy to the things you feel insecure about, but staying aware of how you talk to and about yourself, and practicing some self-compassion and gratitude-- you can definitely work on building your confidence, even around the things you are insecure about.Hope you enjoy todays episode and like always, thank you for listening!XO- AshleyIG: @therealashleyta
