Daniel 8:1-27 Daniel's Vision of the Ram and the Goat 8In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.2And I saw in the vision; and when I saw, I was in Susa the citadel, which is in the province of Elam. And I saw in the vision, and I was at the Ulai canal.3I raised my eyes and saw, and behold, a ram standing on the bank of the canal. It had two horns, and both horns were high, but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last.4I saw the ram charging westward and northward and southward. No beast could stand before him, and there was no one who could rescue from his power. He did as he pleased and became great. 5As I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, without touching the ground. And the goat had a conspicuous horn between his eyes.6He came to the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the canal, and he ran at him in his powerful wrath.7I saw him come close to the ram, and he was enraged against him and struck the ram and broke his two horns. And the ram had no power to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. And there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power.8Then the goat became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven. 9Out of one of them came a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land.10It grew great, even to the host of heaven. And some of the host and some[a]of the stars it threw down to the ground and trampled on them.11It became great, even as great as the Prince of the host. And the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown.12And a host will be given over to it together with the regular burnt offering because of transgression,[b]and it will throw truth to the ground, and it will act and prosper.13Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?14And he said to me,[c]For 2,300 evenings and mornings. Then the sanctuary shall be restored to its rightful state. The Interpretation of the Vision 15When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.16And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai, and it called, Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.17So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me, Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end. 18And when he had spoken to me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face to the ground. But he touched me and made me stand up.19He said, Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation, for it refers to the appointed time of the end.20As for the ram that you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.21And the goat[d]is the king of Greece. And the great horn between his eyes is the first king.22As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his[e]nation, but not with his power.23And at the latter end of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their limit, a king of bold face, one who understands riddles, shall arise.24His power shall be greatbut not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints.25By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall become great. Without warning he shall destroy many. And he shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be brokenbut by no human hand.26The vision of the evenings and the mornings that has been told is true, but seal up the vision, for it refers to many days from now. 27And I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days. Then I rose and went about the king's business, but I was appalled by the vision and did not understand it.

Second Sunday after Pentecost Old Testament: Genesis 12:1-9 1Now the Lord said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. 2I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." 4So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5Abram took his wife Sarai and his brother's son Lot, and all the possessions that they had gathered, and the persons whom they had acquired in Haran; and they set forth to go to the land of Canaan. When they had come to the land of Canaan, 6Abram passed through the land to the place at Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. 7Then the Lordappeared to Abram, and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. 8From there he moved on to the hill country on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and invoked the name of the Lord. 9And Abram journeyed on by stages toward the Negeb. Psalm: Psalm 33:1-12 1 Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous; * it is good for the just to sing praises. 2 Praise the Lord with the harp; * play to him upon the psaltery and lyre. 3 Sing for him a new song; * sound a fanfare with all your skill upon the trumpet. 4 For the word of the Lord is right, * and all his works are sure. 5 He loves righteousness and justice; * the loving-kindness of the Lord fills the whole earth. 6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, * by the breath of his mouth all the heavenly hosts. 7 He gathers up the waters of the ocean as in a water-skin * and stores up the depths of the sea. 8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; * let all who dwell in the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spoke, and it came to pass; * he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The Lord brings the will of the nations to naught; * he thwarts the designs of the peoples. 11 But the Lord's will stands fast for ever, * and the designs of his heart from age to age. 12 Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord! * happy the people he has chosen to be his own! Old Testament: Hosea 5:15-6:6 15I will return again to my place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face. In their distress they will beg my favor: 1"Come, let us return to the Lord; for it is he who has torn, and he will heal us; he has struck down, and he will bind us up. 2After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. 3Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord; his appearing is as sure as the dawn; he will come to us like the showers, like the spring rains that water the earth." 4What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes away early.5Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have killed them by the words of my mouth, and my judgment goes forth as the light. 6For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. Psalm: Psalm 50:7-15 7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak: "O Israel, I will bear witness against you; * for I am God, your God. 8 I do not accuse you because of your sacrifices; * your offerings are always before me. 9 I will take no bull-calf from your stalls, * nor he-goats out of your pens; 10 For all the beasts of the forest are mine, * the herds in their thousands upon the hills. 11 I know every bird in the sky, * and the creatures of the fields are in my sight. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, * for the whole world is mine and all that is in it. 13 Do you think I eat the flesh of bulls, * or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving * and make good your vows to the Most High. 15 Call upon me in the day of trouble; * I will deliver you, and you shall honor me." Epistle: Romans 4:13-25 13For the promise that he would inherit the world did not come to Abraham or to his descendants through the law but through the righteousness of faith. 14If it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. 15For the law brings wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there violation. 16For this reason it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his descendants, not only to the adherents of the law but also to those who share the faith of Abraham (for he is the father of all of us, 17as it is written, "I have made you the father of many nations") —in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. 18Hoping against hope, he believed that he would become "the father of many nations," according to what was said, "So numerous shall your descendants be." 19He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was already as good as dead (for he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. 20No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. 22Therefore his faith "was reckoned to him as righteousness." 23Now the words, "it was reckoned to him," were written not for his sake alone, 24but for ours also. It will be reckoned to us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25who was handed over to death for our trespasses and was raised for our justification. Gospel: Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26 9As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him. 10And as he sat at dinner in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came and were sitting with him and his disciples. 11When the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" 12But when he heard this, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.13Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners." 18While he was saying these things to them, suddenly a leader of the synagogue came in and knelt before him, saying, "My daughter has just died; but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live." 19And Jesus got up and followed him, with his disciples. 20Then suddenly a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his cloak, 21for she said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be made well." 22Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well." And instantly the woman was made well. 23When Jesus came to the leader's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, 24he said, "Go away; for the girl is not dead but sleeping." And they laughed at him. 25But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up. 26And the report of this spread throughout that district.

Big Idea: When one person suffers, the whole community should feel it. Esther 4:1-3I. Who will be the first to plead for God's mercy? Esther 4:1When Mordecai learned all that had occurred, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, went into the middle of the city, and cried loudly and bitterly.II. There's always tension between society and spirituality. Esther 4:2He went only as far as the King's Gate, since the law prohibited anyone wearing sackcloth from entering the King's Gate.III. God hears when the whole community prays. Esther 4:3There was great mourning among the Jewish people in every province where the king's command and edict reached. They fasted, wept, and lamented, and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.Next Steps: Believe: I need God's mercy for my desperate soul today.Become: I will mourn and pray for my community this week.Be Sent: I will push back darkness in my community this week.Discussion Questions: What is your neighbor's biggest struggle today?Have you had a spiritual conversation with your neighbor yet?How comfortable are you demonstrating your faith in public? Explain.Do you believe that God expects you to pray for the sins of your community? Explain your answer. What is the best way to show your neighbor that you care about their struggles? Why is it sometimes easier to ignore your neighbor's pain than to enter into it with them?Pray for your neighbors by name today.

Second Sunday in Lent O God, whose glory it is always to have mercy: Be gracious to all who have gone astray from your ways, and bring them again with penitent hearts and steadfast faith to embrace and hold fast the unchangeable truth of your Word, Jesus Christ your Son; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. Old Testament: Genesis 12:1-4a 1Now the Lord said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. Psalm: Psalm 121 1 I lift up my eyes to the hills; * from where is my help to come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, * the maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot be moved * and he who watches over you will not fall asleep. 4 Behold, he who keeps watch over Israel * shall neither slumber nor sleep; 5 The Lord himself watches over you; * the Lord is your shade at your right hand, 6 So that the sun shall not strike you by day, * nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; * it is he who shall keep you safe. 8 The Lord shall watch over your going out and your coming in, * from this time forth for evermore. Epistle: Romans 4:1-5, 13-17 1What then are we to say was gained by Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh? 2For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3For what does the scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness." 4Now to one who works, wages are not reckoned as a gift but as something due. 5But to one who without works trusts him who justifies the ungodly, such faith is reckoned as righteousness. 13For the promise that he would inherit the world did not come to Abraham or to his descendants through the law but through the righteousness of faith.14If it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. Gospel: John 3:1-17 1Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews.2He came to Jesus by night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do apart from the presence of God." 3Jesus answered him, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above." 4Nicodemus said to him, "How can anyone be born after having grown old? Can one enter a second time into the mother's womb and be born?" 5Jesus answered, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. 6What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Do not be astonished that I said to you, 'You must be born from above.' 8The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." 9Nicodemus said to him, "How can these things be?"10Jesus answered him, "Are you a teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things? 11"Very truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know and testify to what we have seen; yet you do not receive our testimony. 12If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? 13No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. 14And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. 17"Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

SpaceTime with Stuart Gary Gary - Series 29 Episode 4In this episode of SpaceTime, we explore the latest revelations about supermassive black holes, the enigmatic interstellar comet 3I Atlas, and NASA's innovative tests on lunar surface interactions.Do All Galaxies Host Supermassive Black Holes?A groundbreaking study utilizing NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory challenges the long-held belief that all galaxies harbor supermassive black holes at their centers. Analyzing data from over 1,600 galaxies, researchers discovered that only about 30% of dwarf galaxies contain these cosmic giants. The findings, published in the Astrophysical Journal, provide crucial insights into the formation of supermassive black holes and suggest that smaller galaxies may have significantly fewer black holes than their massive counterparts. No Evidence of Alien Intelligence from Comet 3I AtlasDespite sensational claims, a thorough investigation into the interstellar comet 3I Atlas has yielded no signs of extraterrestrial technology. Observations from the Green Bank Radio Telescope during the comet's closest approach revealed only radio frequency interference, dismissing earlier speculations of alien signals. The analysis reinforces the understanding that the comet's behavior aligns with natural phenomena, rather than advanced civilizations.NASA's Rocket Plume Studies on Lunar RegolithNASA is conducting new experiments to understand how rocket plumes interact with the lunar surface, crucial for future lunar landings. Using a sophisticated camera system, scientists are simulating rocket engine behavior in a vacuum chamber to analyze the impact of exhaust on lunar dust and rocks. The data collected will inform the design of landing systems for the Artemis missions and future Mars explorations, ensuring crew safety and mission success.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesAstrophysical JournalNASA ReportsJournal of Molecular and Cellular BiochemistryBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-your-guide-to-space-astronomy--2458531/support.(00:00:00) This is Space Time Series 29, Episode 4 for broadcast on 9 January 2026(00:00:47) Study reveals fewer supermassive black holes in smaller galaxies(00:12:30) No signs of alien technology from comet 3I Atlas(00:20:10) NASA's lunar regolith plume interaction tests(00:25:00) Science report: Microplastics and neurodegenerative diseases, dog ownership and community ties

Are Coronal Mass Ejections dangerous to life on Earth? When are we finally going to plunge through the sulfuric acid clouds to measure the atmosphere of Venus. And what's up with 'Oumuamua and 3I/Atlas? To find out, Dr. Charles Liu and co-host Allen Liu welcome astrobiologist Dr. David Grinspoon, aka Dr. FunkySpoon. As always, we start with the day's joyfully cool cosmic thing: the arrival at Earth of two consecutive Coronal Mass Ejections on Nov. 11, 2025, creating an amazing display of Northern and Sothern Lights. In the US, aurora were seen as far south as Texas and even Central America, and yet Chuck, Alan and David were all frustrated by clouds in their own attempts to see them! Luckily, they've each already seen auroras with their own eyes, a viewing event David likens to seeing a total solar eclipse. David discusses how solar flares can impact human technology, but that while solar flares from other stars could be dangerous for life on their planets, at this point in our sun's lifetime, they are unlikely to wipe out life on Earth. Chuck shares aurora images that were taken by our previous guest, astrophotographer Elliot Severn. For our audience questions this week, we're answering questions given to Chuck while he was presenting at an event in Erie, PA. The first question Chuck asks David is, “When we have interstellar visitors like 'Oumuamua and 3I/Atlas, [1] why are they moving so fast in our space? They seem to defy gravity [2] How can they know what 3I/atlas is made of but not the density or materials?” David explains why the extreme speed at which they are moving is actually proof that they are interstellar objects and not something else. He also discusses how we use spectroscopy to determine what they're made of the same way we determine what distant stars and exoplanets are made of. Our next question from Erie, PA is, “Is there a mathematical probability or formula to predict the likelihood of life existing int he universe? In other words, has someone developed a model to predict how many unique things need to happen for life to evolve?” David explains the Drake Equation, a series of questions that help astrobiologists assess the probability of intelligent life in the galaxy. Our last question from Erie is, “If humans find life on a different planet, would we actually understand how to coexist with the information, or will world leaders hide the truth from us?” David points out – as someone who has helped devise astrobiology policy – that the response depends in part on the specifics of the discovery, like how far away that life is. But would the government be able to hide it? David says that the scientists who discover it would be shouting it from the rooftops: “How long would it take to type it and hit send?” And as Chuck points out, the very act of the government trying to censor it would turbocharge the speed at which scientists would get the news out. The real problem, David says, is the potential of each discovery being overhyped by journalists, leading to public burnout. He brings up two examples of overhype: the discovery of possible biosignatures in iron nodules on the Martian rock Cheyava Falls in 2024 by the Perseverance Rover, and the presence of dimethyl sulphide in the atmospheric composition of exoplanet K2-18 b. Next, we turn to David's “second favorite planet,” Venus, which he has studied and written about extensively. David shows us the first book he ever wrote, “Venus Revealed” and talks about upcoming missions to Venus: two from the US, DAVINCI and VERITAS; a European Space Agency mission named EnVision; a Venus Orbiter Mission by India's ISRO, and a private Rocket Lab mission to Venus. David, who is involved with the DAVINCI mission, tells us about the plan to plunge through the sulfuric acid clouds to measure the Venusian atmosphere and surface with modern instruments for the first time. We end with a discussion of the anti-science cycle we're going through, and David shares why he thinks this moment is so unusual and scary, but also why there is reason for hope. Chuck talks about why scientists take the long perspective, and David reminds us of the huge worldwide support for the exploration of space. If you'd like to know more about David, you can check out his YouTube channel @DrFunkySpoon, or @DrFunkySpoon on Blue Sky and Instagram. November 12, 20253I Atlas-JACKED UP DAILY!In this episode Jack and Tim discuss 3I Atlas, and what it could be. Is it real or more deception?3I/ATLAS was first detected on July 1, 2025, by the Asteroid Terrestrial‑impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) telescope in Chile. NASA Science+2Space+2Its full designation: 3I/ATLAS (C/2025 N1). The “3I” indicates it is the third known interstellar object (an object not bound by the Sun's gravity) after 1I/ʻOumuamua and 2I/Borisov. Space+1Observations show comet-like activity: a coma (cloud of dust/gas around the nucleus) and perhaps a tail. Which is why scientists mostly call it a comet rather than an asteroid. NASA Science+2Space+2Importantly: its trajectory is hyperbolic (i.e., it's coming into the solar system from interstellar space and will leave again) — so it isn't orbiting the Sun like typical comets or asteroids. Although not completely here today and gone tomorrow, the conspiracy theories and science fiction being sold online about 3I Atlas are; on October 31 the comet reached its perihelion position near the sun and, of course, none of the outrageous claims about aliens turned out to be true. On the other hand, the comet changed its color, brightness and speed on its solar journey, all things considered very odd. Some said blue then it was green, then it had a tail then it didn't. But what is odd, especially for interstellar objects that have only been studied for about eight years now. Odd doesn't mean alien invasion; it means unusual. We should obviously keep an open mind to different theories but those about 3I-aliens were inspired by a misunderstanding of Avi Loeb's Harvard paper which stated: “By far the most likely outcome will be that 3I/ATLAS is a completely natural interstellar object, probably a comet, and the authors await the astronomical data to support this likely origin.” With the success of 3I Atlas garbage, clickbait news have added to their catalogues of nonsense, now claiming certain space objects like 2025-PN7 may be from an “ancient civilization,” i.e., the Soviet Union. From the size of 3I Atlas to its nickel composition, to its non-gravitational acceleration, and including its inbound direction from the general area from whence the Wow Signal originated, it is not irrational to consider the possibility of a Bracewell probe or something similar, but alien invasion is more than a stretch. Some were even claiming that the object was broadcasting the Fibonacci Signal and a coded message that read “Observe. Prepare. Understand. The Gate Awaits.”On August 15, 2002, a crop circle showing a gray alien head with a binary spiral disk appeared near Crabwood Farm House, Hampshire, UK—about 4 miles from the Chilbolton Radio Observatory. The disk's ASCII code decoded to: "Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but still time. BELIEVE. There is GOOD out there. We Oppose DECEPTION. Conduit CLOSING." Sound similar? How much of this is real as opposed to imagined, or manmade instead of the opposite, is always debatable and clickable. Considering how much lying and theft there is in the UFO community nothing can be taken seriously. This applies to the early years of Ufology and its newest manifestation as a Congressional investigation. How much is motivated by fantasy, delusion, or genuine experiences that are not explainable, is one thing, but how much is motivated by religion is another. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna told Joe Rogan in August 2025 that she's seen evidence of “interdimensional beings” and that there are reports of their “movements outside of time and space.” She went on to refer to the Bible, Christ, and Book of Enoch, essentially addressing ancient astronaut theory. Avi Loeb had likewise posited that 3I/ATLAS may herald the arrival of “a messianic era,” that the messiah may come “from another star.” This has sparked a conspiracy that Loeb, former IDF, was trying to use the comet to push for a NWO in favor of the intelligence community. Both Loeb and Anna are Jewish, which is important to consider because the entire idea of ancient aliens, or paleo-astronautics, was first introduced by Matest M. Agrest who was born into a family of Torah scholars. The idea here is that regardless of what 3I Atlas really is, which is probably rocks, metals, and gas, any celestial event can be, and always has been, molded to the benefits and beliefs of powers and people. Without clear and accepted answers we will continue dealing with a blank slate by which we can project our imagination and beliefs. One man's alien is another man's god, and another man's demon. It is also becoming more likely that we are going to find intelligent life first through machines instead of deep space, making AI possibly more ancient than artificial.*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. In this episode of SpaceTime, we explore a trio of intriguing astronomical phenomena that are reshaping our understanding of the cosmos.Interstellar Comet 3I Atlas: A Close EncounterInterstellar comet 3I Atlas has reached its perihelion, passing closest to the Sun without any signs of alien life forms, despite wild media speculation. This episode discusses how the comet maintained its expected trajectory and velocity, while also revealing groundbreaking findings from NASA's Swift Space Telescope, which detected ultraviolet signatures of water from the comet, providing new insights into the chemistry of interstellar objects and their potential to harbour the building blocks of life.A Colossal Gas Bridge Between Dwarf GalaxiesAstronomers have discovered a massive bridge of neutral hydrogen gas linking two dwarf galaxies, NGC 4532 and DDO 137, located approximately 53 million light years away. This remarkable structure spans an astonishing 185,000 light years and is accompanied by a vast tail of gas extending 1 million light years. The findings shed light on how galaxies interact and evolve, particularly in dense environments like the Virgo Cluster, and offer crucial insights into the dynamics of galactic gas and star formation.Volcanic Eruptions and Hidden Ice on MarsA new study suggests that explosive volcanic eruptions on ancient Mars may have transported water ice to the equatorial regions of the Red Planet. Using computer modelling, researchers propose that water vapour released during these eruptions could have frozen in the Martian atmosphere, leading to the accumulation of significant ice deposits. This discovery could have profound implications for future human exploration of Mars, as it raises questions about the availability of water resources in unexpected locations.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesAstrophysical Journal Lettershttps://iopscience.iop.org/journal/2041-8205Nature Communicationshttps://www.nature.com/naturecommunications/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-your-guide-to-space-astronomy--2458531/support.Interstellar Comet 3I Atlas: A Close EncounterA Colossal Gas Bridge Between Dwarf GalaxiesVolcanic Eruptions and Hidden Ice on Mars
