Becoming The Master of You Take-Aways Becoming the master of you is becoming an expert of all things you, in regards to role of the dynamics of the things in your life (insecurities, efforts, faith, choices) “When you become the master of you, you take full responsibility for what happens NEXT.”-Dr. Shante “Recognize and be honest about your role and the way your life is beginning to take shape.”-Dr. Shante “You are not responsible for your brokenness, but you are responsible for your healing.”-Ramesha Nicole “You have to decide where you want to live. You can live in history or in destiny.”-Dr. Shante “Destiny requires you to be the master of you.”-Dr. Shante “That may be where you are today, but it doesn't have to be your tomorrow.” “What are you doing that's in alignment to what God wants for your life?”-Dr. Shante “We are aiding the enemy in our destruction instead of doing the work that's necessary to get free.”-Dr. Shante “Too often we become the architects of our own prison.”-Dr. Shante “Are you willing to do the work to get free?”-Dr. Shante “When you don't heal your pain, you become the dispenser of pain.”-Dr. Shante “When you cannot make the distinction between your story and your identity, then the story becomes your identity.”-Dr. Shante “Are you willing to do the work to disrupt this cycle?”-Dr. Shante “Living in freedom and living in bondage all boils down to a choice.”-Dr. Shante “A prison isn't as much of a physical confinement, but a mental confinement.”-Trent Shelton Take inventory. What are the things in your life that's not working? Then, take an assessment of your role in those things. (Look at patterns of your behavior) Begin asking yourself the right questions. This week's FINAL rewind intermission is from the Healed Trauma. Freed Finances. series feat. Delisa Treshelle who tells how FORGIVENESS unlocked the blockages to some of her unresolved trauma Often there is a misconception when it comes to the correlation between forgiveness and financial debt. Many believers of the Christian faith often recite the well known verse “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” from the Lord's prayer, but fail to do the same when it comes to those who may have hurt them. Could it be that the true debt that needs to be forgiven is that of an offender and not just your financial debt? On today's episode, Ramesha Nicole sits down with serial entrepreneur and prophetic artist Delisa Treshelle on how her process of forgiving her dad for the lack of presence in her life, not only unlocked financial breakthrough that she was seeking, but into a new level of her life's purpose. Removing The Blockages Take-Aways: Releasing and forgiving has levels to it. Are there things you have in your possession that are attached to your unforgiveness? Could it be that the person that you need to forgive has gone through the same things that you have gone through? When you heal and forgive, you get clarity about your life's purpose. The season of frustration that you are experiencing is linked to your unforgiveness.-Delisa Treshelle It's not that God doesn't want to open the doors and put you in the position, he wants to first remove the blockages of unforgiveness in your heart so that you can do his work.-Delisa Treshelle “You have to obey your Heavenly Father in order to forgive your earthly father.”-Ramesha Nicole “You have to want your Heavenly Father more than your earthly father.”-Delisa Treshelle “You're going to be tested in the same area that you are called to.”-Delisa Treshelle “Sometimes God has to strip everything and everybody away from you.”-Delisa Treshelle “God can't give you what you want until you make room.”-Ramesha Nicole “The physical weight that you are carrying may be linked to unforgiveness.”-Delisa Treshelle “We have to uphold our parents to a certain standard. They are adults too.”-Delisa Treshelle “Unforgiveness is holding you down like weights.”-Delisa Treshelle -27:30 “You have to be prepared for what you pray.”-Ramesha Nicole “Let it go.”-Delisa Treshelle “Sometimes we put our own weight on ourselves.”-Delisa Treshelle “Sometimes after forgiveness, there is residue.”-Delisa Treshelle Action Steps To Removing Blockages: Look in the mirror, face yourself and accept responsibility for forgiving. Give it to God completely. Fully surrender. Truth for Freedom Questions: What does it mean to get real in order to experience freedom? Remove the perfectionism. It's not about how others portray you just be yourself. My name is Delisa Treshelle and the truth about debt is it's linked to strongholds. On this week's intermission rewind episode, Ramesha Nicole takes it back to the vault from her previous podcast Real Talk w/ Ramesha Nicole. Are you dealing with the whole issue or just part of the issue? Does it seem like you're just self medicating your wombs with the money that you spend? Have you discovered WHY you really spend the way that you do? That's what happened to Samantha Washington, owner of Mended Fitness, when she had her defining moment by realizing that she was too prideful to ask for help. She soon discovered that the only way she was going to experience the freedom that desired, was to do the inner work herself through the help of others. By doing the work, Samantha had a revelation that her debt was related to SOMETHING. She says “We think it's a curtain, but the TRUTH is that the debt is just revealing more TRUTH about you.” The WHOLE Issue Take-aways: Trauma is like a mountain that you can not climb by yourself-Samantha Washington "I realized that I was using money to self-medicate the pain that I was in."-Samantha Washington When I begin to do the inner work myself, I learned that things didn't look important anymore.-Samantha Washington “I broke FREE when I decided to stop caring about man.”-Samantha Washington “It wasn't someone else's place to tell me I was worth it, it was my place to know I was worth it.”-Samantha Washington "I replaced my spending with things that I enjoyed and stopped chasing rejection."-Samantha Washington “I could never allow myself to be myself because I was too busy trying to be something for somebody else.”-Samantha Washington “When you don't feel like you're free, you don't feel like you have power.”-Samantha Washington “You are responsible for your progress.”-Samantha Washington “If you don't deal with the stuff back there, it will manifest itself in your adulthood.”-Ramesha Nicole What steps can someone take to walk in purpose and not let trauma define you: Figure out the root of the trauma Figure out how to pull up the root Give yourself grace to get to where you want to be without trying to perfect the process Seek therapy or a safe space “Sometimes NO means NO. It's a boundary.”-Samantha Washington Truth For Freedom Questions: What does it really mean to get real with yourself to experience freedom. -Understanding that it's a process. Don't rush the process, Respect the process. That's where the character lies. “Don't let the process punk you out of your purpose.” “Don't let the progress punk you out of the process.” My name is Samantha Washington and the truth about debt is that it's a revelation. Then identify what your beliefs are in that area and how you've subconsciously adopted as your own. “Your mother's beliefs are not reality.”-Bethany Webster Ask yourself when you were a little girl what you longed from from your mother. You have to think about what you're thinking about.”-Pranati Walker “When we live on autopilot, our thoughts live on autopilot.”-Pranati Walker “What are you thinking about? What's on your mind? Get Your Mind and Your Money Right!' series, Ramesha Nicole sits down with women's confidence and empowerment coach Megan De La Concha around how true surrender brings about a new level of freedom. Surrender It All Key Take-Aways: You can't keep running because what you are running from will eventually follow you. Don't be selective with what areas of your life you decide to surrender. You must surrender it all: past, present and future. God calls you to trust in just him and NOT other people. That is true surrender. When you don't trust that inner voice or yourself, you tend to lean on other people for the answers. “You look to people because of lack of faith.”-Megan De La Concha “No one has the answers for your life except for God.”-Megan De La Concha “Every God blessing doesn't have to be a struggle.”-Megan De La Concha “Something magical happens when you surrender it all. I feel more powerful. I don't fear the day or tomorrow. “The blessing of surrender has been freedom in every area of my life.”-Megan De La Concha What are some actions steps one can take to truly learn how to surrender?
