In our third, and final, episode of our Dad Series: What Real Men Think of Family Portraits, we are joined by another family man sharing his love for the artwork that adorns the walls not only in his home, but in his office as well (in a BIG way). As you'll hear in our conversation, Bob Cunningham is first and foremost a family man, but he is also the CEO of a commercial truck dealership that serves most of the western United States. With such an important role in the company, Bob has taken a unique approach and filled the walls of his office with continuously updated family portraits. In fact, these portraits have become so important to him that he is the driving force behind making sure they are updated and scheduled every year. And with 5 children and 21 grandchildren, you can imagine the project he undertakes to make it happen. In my opinion, the greatest compliment a man can receive is that he is a family man. And that is certainly true of today's guest, Tommy Stapley, who is our guest for Part 2 of our Dad Series: What Real Men Think of Family Portraits. Tommy Stapley is a real estate developer by trade, but a dad and family man at heart. This has made him an absolute lover of family portraits. Not only that, but he has also become an ambassador for ATJ! Many clients have booked sessions based solely on his recommendation. “How do we get the dads on board?” “How do you handle the grumpy husbands?” “What if Dad decides to tank the sale?” Historically, dads aren't as excited about family portraits as moms are. Perhaps it's because they weren't the ones to plan the session and are likely the ones that will be most concerned about the bill.  Maybe it's because their wife has been ordering $3M worth of clothing over the last month and stressing about every detail involved with the photo shoot.  Luckily, we have some great dad clients that not only love their portraits, but are even the driving force for their family scheduling them and seeking the service. Unicorn Dads! Let's find out directly from the horse's mouth how we can better serve the entire family and get dads on board with the process. Today is the first of a series of episodes to learn what real men think about family portraits. Kicking off the series is Dr. Ben Larrabee, an orthodontist, fellow business owner in our community, and ATJ client. He has so many pearls of wisdom that will surprise you, because what could orthodontics and photography ever have in common? Turns out, quite a bit! Could A.I. be used by political parties to acquire power? 3:30pm- While testifying before a House Committee hearing, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona was unable to define what a “woman” is when pressed by Congressman Andrew Clyde (R-GA). 3:45pm- In response to Bud Light, and its parent company Anheuser-Busch, partnering with LGBTQ+ activist Dylan Mulvaney, friends of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis released a “Real Men of Genius” parody commercial—but the commercial sounds incredibly similar to Mike Opelka's parodies, which aired last week. Did the DeSantis campaign team derive inspiration from Opelka? It certainly seems like it. 4:05pm- On Monday, Governor Phil Murphy spoke with Eric Landskroner of News 12 and took questions from New Jersey residents. During the 40-minute segment, Gov. Murphy denied that the unusual number of whale deaths along the Atlantic Coast could be linked to offshore wind development's usage of sonar to map the ocean's floor, despite concerns expressed by environmental experts. At one point, Gov. Murphy baselessly alleged that studies suggesting marine life may be jeopardized by windfarm development are being funded by the fossil fuel industry. Today, I open with a reminder of the philosophy of Niccolo Machiavelli when training future rulers. To summarize, a wise ruler must think of a way to make the citizens need the state and that leader at all times and under all circumstances. He wanted rules to make the people dependent on the state (government), making them more easily controlled. The only way to make this work in modern society is to eliminate individual freedom and liberty. This goes back to the doctrine of Barack Obama to fundamentally transform our nation. We start with the president of France, Emmanuel Macron who, after meeting with Chinese president Xi Jingping, intimated that decoupling from the US Dollar may be better for the whole of Europe. Our ally wants to avoid being seen as nothing more than a blind follow of the US. This is our ally speaking! Russia and Iran were also meeting over the weekend, conspiring ways to weaken the US Dollar. Our enemies and allies are now both trying to achieve the same goal. Joe Manchin still cannot believe how the Inflation Reduction Act isn't being implemented properly. He still is lying to himself that the Act is going to bring back more manufacturing and energy independence to America. Instead, it's once again giving power and control over to China. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez believes in a two tiered system of governance. She said if a Federal court rules in a way the Administration does not like, simply ignore the court ruling. She once again believes the third co-equal branch of government is meant to be subservient to the Executive and Legislative branches. Remember during the trucker strike in Canada, I said to keep on eye on them as they are the Canary in the coal mine? That what happens in Canada is heading for the United States? Turns out there is a new bill being pushed called the 2SLGBTQI+ Protection bill. It will remove anyone's right to protest or free speech if someone in that community feels aggrieved or offended. And, right on cue, the Biden regime is deciding to blackmail states by altering the language for Title IX. Instead of being a law that allows women's extracurricular activities to be equally funded, Biden now wants to include the entirety of the alphabet community including men who think they are women. It's insidious and dangerous and needs to be fought. Riley Gaines is pursuing legal action against those who assaulted and attacked her on the campus of San Francisco State University. She was scared and is still concerned for her safety, but she feels she needs to keep fighting for women and their safety. Corporations are reaching out to the trans community to represent their brands. Why? Let me introduce you to the CEI score and it all circles back around to Barack Obama. The Corporate Equality Index overseen by the Human Rights Campaign whose current president is Kelly Robinson who previously worked as a political organizer for Obama's 2008 campaign. If corporations don't bow to the CEI score, they may find themselves the victims of the latest cancel-culture campaigns, assisted by their willing accomplices in the Legacy/mainstream media. The 2011 movie "The Muppets" with Jason Segal and Amy Adams was a great return to classic muppet movies. Today's podcast title comes from a song that won an Oscar from that movie: Man or Muppet.If we never ask ourselves questions about who we are and where we are at in life, it isn't good for us as men.
