She’s a builder at heart, an achiever, and an executive ticked off by repetitive, unnecessary noises. Stop clicking your pen!

Be advised, Ryan has misophonia, so avoid chewing your popcorn too loud when you’re sitting next to him at the movies. But you didn’t hear that from us.

Colin is a professional blackjack card counter, an occupation he landed on after combining his math degree with a book he read at Bible Camp. He provides training, resources, and a community for card counters through his online program, Blackjack Apprenticeship – teaching others to think like an investor, not a gambler, and that blackjack, unlike every other casino game, is a strategy where past events actually impact future outcomes. Live your life transformational, not transactional, and look forward to future outcomes with hard work.
Salenta is a mother, entrepreneur, energy psychology practitioner, and love coach. She assists men, women, and couples to identify and release limiting beliefs, patterns, and mindsets to instead live from love and be more connected to themselves, their partners, and their higher power. The masculine still leads the feminine when you’re both aligned and safe. And it starts with talking about it more openly.
Tennille is the head trainer at OrangeTheory Fitness in Draper, UT where she coaches groups of people to live their best lives by motivating them through daily workouts. At her core, you’ll find people and relationships, helping others through the hard times – whether that’s through grief or through a workout. Sometimes at the same time. At the very definition, she is a ticked person, and we can’t wait for you to hear our conversation.
Ben and Curtis explore the ticks and tick offs around Customer Care in this week’s stoppage time episode. Chris takes risks when faced with problems to get around it and find out more about himself, accepting failure as a learning option. And when meeting you, he asks searching questions like, “What’s the best thing that happened to you today?” to move past the small talk and make that exchange memorable. He loves pringles but hates their packaging. He’s impatient, he moves with purpose, and he’s a serial entrepreneur building and creating two businesses.
This week’s guest - Ben and Curtis. In this Stoppage Time episode, we bring in a few opinions from listeners on what’s making them tick or ticking them off right now. We cover productivity apps, apple events, and nit-picky organization tips. What’s making us tick right now? Supporting and investing in the accomplishments of others, and the reward that has for one’s own soul.
This week’s guest: Steve Michels, drummer for the band Foreign Figures. And being a drummer was something that naturally took place in his life, rhythm and melody are his hooks. He started when he was 9, was the front man (and back man) for a cover band in high school, and started Foreign Figures with his brother. He follows his heart while focusing on the things that bring life and happiness. You should follow suit.

This week’s guest: Lib, Ben and Dalton – It’s a Stoppage Time episode where the hosts sit back, relax, and discuss a topic that has us ticking. When was a time in your life when you felt like you’d made it as an adult? When were you punched in the face with adult life? As you grow up, what are you holding onto from your younger years, what are you letting go, and what are you working toward? We go the rounds on health, finance, hobbies, purchases, and future outlooks. “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
This week’s guest: Kate Hansen – Recruited at the ripe old age of 10 to compete in Luge competitions which took her to Sochi in 2014. #olympics. This week’s guest: Seth Dunshee – Utah native, musician, and member of the band, Foreign Figures. Part 1 of a 4-Part Ticked series, we’re interviewing each member of the band as they are releasing new music. The band, by nature, is a collaborative effort – each member plays significant roles beyond their specific instrument. They’ve likened themselves unto the group dynamics of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, all children of the 90s, all bringing their unique perspectives and leadership.
This week’s guest: Lib Montoya – regularly a host of Ticked, Lib takes over the guest mic to discuss his ticks and tick offs. Originally from Arizona, he’s starting to call Utah home where he currently works as the Art Director for a marketing agency in Salt Lake, but he’s not so much a fan of titles. Or bumper stickers. Or messy yards. He’s a cancer survivor – currently three years in remission, a loyal friend, and creative AF.
This week’s guest: Madison Heap – While studying Broadcast Journalism in college, “Mads” needed a passionate project for her resume to fill in the gap from a summer internship. That passion project has turned into a full-time news outlet that recaps the day’s most important news in a minute while not being confusing, depressing, or biased. Minute with Mads makes the news more simple to understand and a lot easier to stomach.
This week’s guest: Ashley Hatch – Professional soccer player in the NWSL (currently on the Washington Spirit squad), fellow Arizonian, and Rookie of the Year recipient. One thing you’ll love about Ashley right off the bat is that she grew up learning and progressing through soccer, she wasn’t born with a ball at her feet. She pushed her ability at every stage, and even off the field had to email recruiters and invite them to her tournaments. Ben and Lib saw her play in Utah for the US Women’s National Team, saw the inspiration she was for all aspiring soccer fans at that game, and knew she had to be on Ticked.
This week’s guest: Braydon Ball - photographer for Maverik, Adventure’s First Stop. Braydon loves experiencing life. We may argue a little over candy posters and Halloween traditions, and you’re all sweet tarts!
This week’s guest: Tyler Howells - founder and president of Cozy Earth, a premium luxury bed linens brand. Basically, he helps people have the best sleep ever and works directly with bamboo harvesters in China. This was all made possible by knowing Mandarin (just imagine a 6” 3” white guy speaking Mandarin) and loving the culture. Tyler focuses on not getting too high, or getting too low. Life is about how you handle the universe. He wants to help others fulfill their potential as he fulfills his own and enjoying the journey, because you will never “reach” your destination.
This week’s guest: Ben Croshaw, an instructional designer, film fanatic, and RSL season ticket holder. Ben, or “Crosh,” hosts a podcast, sings, attempts to play the piano, and will defend the luxury loungers at Cinemark ’til the day he dies. Ben lives by his theme: classic | creative | professional | simple – it guides his work, his design inspiration and output, and even his ticks and tick offs. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, and if you’re not sticking your neck out every once in a while, you’re not doing your job.
This week’s guest – Brady and Megan Parks from The National Parks band. Brady is the frontman, and Megan backs him up on a mean violin. Originally forming in 2013, the band has been through a couple talent changes, but after hearing Brady and Megan’s love story, it sounds like those two are committed. We cover skiing, allergies, spirit food, man colds, air hand-dryers, and band names. They’ve toured all throughout the US, but “At The Heart,” Rexburg, ID will always be one of their most special “Places.”
This week’s guest: Marc LeFevre - A sports and outdoors fanatic who started his career with an aerospace company but quickly realized that he wanted to help people do more. This week’s guest: Patrick Donohoe – a native of Connecticut who, you could say, “Got in with the right crowd” after moving to Utah. He now owns several businesses, hosts a financial wealth podcast, and recently wrote a book. Beyond his professional life, Pat lives with a mentality of “If you have something of value that can benefit someone else, figure out a way to give it to them,” and has graciously opened his studio doors to the Ticked Team.
This week’s guest: Ben, Dalton and Lib - We take a break from our regular guest routine and pinpoint certain tick offs we individually have. Although negative, these tick off come from a good place. We dissect what normally is a negative and pesky outlook; and try to convince one another to see the glass half full.
This week’s guest, Jason and Kelsey – serial entrepreneurs who kick-start their creative ideas through dedication, sweat, and – maybe, tears. Each of them run their own business, then started dating and decided to start a business together, Dorai Home. Eco friendly and organic, this idea mapped well to their personality traits and has become so much more than a successfully-funded kickstarter campaign. Creating happier, healthier homes through natural approaches, in two words: Diatomaceous earth.
This week’s guest: Breea and Cody - traveling filmmakers and content creators helping people capture and remember important, emotional moments. Breea was inspired by her grandfather to pick up a camera and start shooting. Then, Cody came into the picture and helped take the business to the next level. They wake up early, love going to new places together but one of the two lives their life by the motto, “I’m not cheap, I’m thrifty”.
This week’s guest, Rachel Kirkham – college soccer player turned business owner and trainer for young girls. Rachel trains like a girl, and inspires young athletes to take risks and progress, mentally and physically. If she can’t figure out how to do something, she gets mad, then figures it out. Simple, right?
We take Ticked on the road this week to explore weddings. Specifically, Dalton’s Wedding. From Bridesmaid Dresses to quiet photographers and from wedding food savories to reuniting with high school buddies, we talk ticks and tick offs with wedding guests. This episode has all the feels, as a wedding should. So, kick off your high heels, dance like no one is watching, and stay ticked.
This week’s guest: Quinn Nelson - A YouTuber that has been creating videos for 10 years. His entrepreneur spirit has helped him sell three business in his teens while running the “Snazzy Labs” channel that helps people not only how they may fix their tech device, but come away learning how things work. Quinn is one to share his knowledge with others at no cost and only a friendly reminder to stay snazzy.
This week’s guest, Francisco Terreros – Chief Marketing Officer and FIFA Player Agent for SBX Group. “Cisco” represents professional footballers on and off the field, be it contracts, endorsements, and career growth. He also represents the American Dream, a son of Colombian immigrant parents experiencing true culture shock coming to Utah. He’s always thinking of the end goal, and finding ways to have fun in every single aspect of his yellow personality life.
This week’s guests: Eric Woodyard - beat writer for the Utah Jazz who proudly hails from Flint, Michigan. Flint is considered one of America’s poorest or most violent cities, but he believes in that if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. Basketball and home are some ticks that remind him to stay positive and give back daily. He loves spending time with family and friends but if you have him over, just make sure you give him a heads up if you have any pets at home, especially cats…
