In November 2000, bank manager and single mother Michelle Renee was in her Vista, California, home with her seven-year-old daughter Breea, when three masked gunmen broke into the house. The gunmen held them captive overnight, and in the morning strapped dynamite onto their backs. Breea was shoved into a closet, while Michelle was ordered to rob the bank where she worked. She obeyed, and the next morning she cleaned out the bank vault and gave the gunmen a duffel bag containing $360,000. Breea is a school psychologist who works with educators on how they can implement neurodiversity affirming practices and neurodiversity affirming psychoeducation! Brandi starts us off with a gut-wrenching story. On the evening of November 3, 1998, all eight-year-old Maddie Clifton wanted to do was go outside and play. Her mother gave her permission to go outside for a few minutes, so Maddie went next door to the home of 14-year-old Josh Phillips to ask if he'd like to play baseball. He did. Later, when Maddie didn't come home, her parents panicked. Police and volunteers searched for Maddie for days before she was finally discovered by Josh's mother. Then Kristin tells us about an elaborate triple kidnapping. Michelle Renee was at home with her seven-year-old daughter, Breea, when, seemingly out of nowhere, three men burst through the home's locked back door. The men wore ski masks. They brandished guns. They'd even brought spears. They told Michelle that they knew she worked for a local Bank of America. What goes around, comes back around!   This harrowing experience of being kidnapped and held hostage, along with her then 7-year-old daughter and being forced to rob a bank became international headline news. IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE! Disneyland has finally reopened after more than a year! In honor of that news, Sage hacked in to the security system, told Felicia Rashad “not today” and insisted we all hop in the Time Rover. We are going BACK IN TIME to some of our favorite defunct Disneyland Resort attractions and are are bringing back our favorites for Disneyland's 2021 reopening!
