Just over 11 years ago, Nigel was looking to fulfil a dream and compete in a very prestigious bike race in France and follow the greats of Le Tour de France. All that stood in his way was having his GP sign off a medical clearance to allow him to race and so off Nigel went to get what he thought would be an easy signature and he would be on the next plane to France.What he didn't know at the time was there was something VERY wrong with his heart and if he hadn't had such a diligent Doctor, he would most likely NOT be sitting here today and talking to me on my podcast show.Listen in this week as we talk about Nigel's journey back from open heart surgery and how he came to find the no breakfast life.
