RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - What happens after the unthinkable? On today’s episode of the WGNS Action Line, host Scott Walker sits down with seasoned attorney Brandon Bass o
18 baby, 18. What can the haters say now? Truly, what can they say? They have nothing, our team is champions. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Al Hereford, Kristaps Porzingis, and everyone else just got a ring. There is nothing the media and all these fake NBA fans who do not know anything can say anymore. We won, and boy does it feel great. 16 years baby. 16. We had to watch lineups with Gerald Wallace, Jared Sullinger, Courtney Lee, Greg Stiemsma, Brandon Bass, and more (sorry for the strays fellas). We had to listen to Lakers talk mess about having the most banners, but it does not matter anymore. WE ARE CHAMPIONS. I love this city, I love this team, and I love our fanbase. Go freaking Celtics man, GO CELTICS.

Brandon Bass walks us through the ins and outs of being in Facebook jail. Having a dark sense of humor does not pair well with the Internet and sometimes ends up in phone calls from your local police department. We talk about censorship, how your personal and business reputations can be ruined in a snap, and how to pivot by making a new identity for yourself. Brandon shows us the ropes of what it takes to be a bull rider. SPOILER ALERT: a lot of broken bones. Yee-haw! We top it off with some conspiracy theories and the hypocrisy of state politics mixed in with men rescuing other men at the bar. Everyone loves a mixed bag of nuts! In the end, a loud explosion goes off upstairs causing us to abruptly stop the episode. Brandon and Josh flee the scene and leave Mery all alone while they jet off to Las Vegas Blvd. Mery calls her mom to come over so she doesn't have to face the spirits in her house alone. A player whose impact isn't always evident on the stat sheet has become a familiar archetype for Celtics fans between the systematic impact of players like Al Horford and Marcus Smart. Now, Shane Larkin has returned to the fold after a back injury, a player Brad Stevens has lauded for his ability to adjust speeds and control the pace of the game on the ball. Jared Weiss, formerly of CelticsBlog and now with the Celtics Wire returned to The Banners Broadcast to hit on Larkin one night after he made sure to let Bobby know his -13 night turned into a +13 in the second half against Memphis. Weiss also hit on the bench, Marcus Morris' absence and street-ball style, along with the topic of rest and player management. CelticsBlog editor Simon Pollock made his debut in the second half, with the crucial question of who's your new Celtics wrestling partner now that Brandon Bass (once the consensus) is gone? Pollock also looks back on his Jaylen Brown article in the wake of his friend's passing, and the impact Brown has had on the C's this year. He also gives his take on the best thing about this Celtics season so far, since it's obvious what the worst part was. Please subscribe to The Banners Broadcast and give a rating/review. The Boston Celtics Season came to an end this past Sunday at the hand of Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers via a 4-0 series sweep. Game 4 saw several things that could have an effect on both the Celtics in terms of their plans for the offseason and the Cavaliers in their chase for the NBA Championship. In game 4 we saw the Cavs 3rd best player Kevin Love go down with a dislocated shoulder which could cost him to miss some time depending on the severity. In the 3rd quarter the Cavaliers delivered 2 cheap shots to Jae Crowder. 1 delivered by former Celtic Center Kendrick Perkins as he delivered a shot to the head of Crowder shoving him to the ground which resulted in Crowder retaliating and Perkins hitting him in the face a 2nd time before the refs broke things up. Perkins was not ejected for his actions. Then in the same quarter JR Smith threw an elbow right to the face of Crowder which knocked him out causing Crowder to fall down in an akward way causing a leg injury and that led to Crowder having to leave the game. JR Smith was ejected for his actions. Now both JR Smith and Kendrick Perkins face possible suspensions for their actions which would cost them games in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Meanwhile some of the players the Celtics were depending greatly on to lead this team came up small in this series. Brandon Bass being one of the biggest dissapointments in this series. So now we recap what happened in games 3 and 4. What could the Celtics and its fans take out of this series? Did any of the players on the roster clinch their one way ticket out of Boston like Brandon Bass? Did any Celtics win over the fan base and earn the right to return next season like Jae Crowder? The Celtics Talk Crew will answer those questions as well as give you the updates on what the NBA has decided to do to Perkins and Smith for their actions in game 4. John Karalis of redsarmy.com will join us on this episode of Celtics Talk Radio
Today at 3pm eastern time the NBA'S Trade Deadline expired. All teams looking to make a trade had to make their trades by that 3pm deadline. The Celtics Talk Crew is here to announce and discuss any trades that Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge made leading up to the deadline. Are players like Jeff Green and Brandon Bass who have been sought after for months still on the green team or did Ainge send them packing the same way he did Rajon Rondo in Decemeber. Also where do the Celtics now stand in terms of cap space and draft pick's for after this season. Did the moves Danny Ainge made make the 2015/16 season look like a season where the team will be back amongst the NBA'S elite or did he make more moves that are just making the future look even more bleak then they were prior to the deadline. Your Celtics Talk Crew along side Rich Conte of CLNS will give you all the trade details and the affects they will have on the Celtic's chances of landing a franchise altering star whether it be via a trade, free agency or the 2015 NBA draft
The Boston Celtic's ended their January schedule with 7 games against Western Conference teams. 6 of which were on the road. Now the Celtics get set for schedule in February that is much easier as only one team is really elite. So going into the month of February where do the Celtics stand. Are they still fighting for a playoff spot. Or did the Western Conference road trip cause them to slip up. Also the NBA trade deadline is only a few weeks away. Several players on the Celtics including Brandon Bass and Marcus Thorton have been brought up in rumors of other teams considering making a trade for them. What is the latest on that situation. Will Danny Ainge get rid of more of the teams best player's or will he stand pat. We will answer those questions and recap the Celtics performance against some of the NBA's Western Conference Elite teams. John Karalis of RedsArmy.com will join the Celtics Talk Crew to discuss where does the team go from here heading into a month that could help them go in either the playoff direction or the tanking direction
The Celtics were on a 2 game losing streak and sat at a record of 4-8 the last time the Celtics Talk Crew was on the air. The Celtics since that show played 5 games 4 of which took place at TD Garden. The Celtics faced the Bull's and Spurs at home before heading to Atlanta to take on the Hawks and then faced the Pistons and Lakers both at TD Garden. JAMEY BURKE of Redsarmy.com will join the Celtics Talk Crew to discuss where the Celtic's stand in the eastern conference standings. Also what is the latest on the rumors regarding several teams being interested in trading for Jeff Green and Brandon Bass. Is Marcus Smart back yet? All of that will be discussed on Celtics Talk Radio
The NBA season is now rapidly approaching, and the questions are beginning to arise? Who's staying and who's going for the Boston Celtics? Hosts Jared Weiss and Larry H. Russell will break it all down on this week's episode of Celtics Beat. Jared and LHR will be joined by Jared's partner on the Garden Report and Comcast Sports Net New England's own Jimmy Toscano. Jimmy will join J. Weiss and LHR to break down the seemingly broken down roster of the 2015 Boston Celtics. Is the starting center position Tyler Zeller's to lose? Should we make of anything that Brandon Bass' house is on the market? Do the non-guaranteed contract guys like Chris Babb and Chris Johnson have any chance? When, not if, will Marcus Thornton be traded? And, oh yeah, what about that Rajon Rondo guy? And there's still plenty more to talk about. That's why J. Weiss and LHR will go Around the NBA in 5 So tune into Celtics Beat this Saturday afternoon, September 21st 2014. Or download the show on iTunes or Stitcher.
