Learn more at YamahaMotorsports.com In this week's first segment, Nic de Sena tells us all about the new Yamaha MT-09 SP. The SP comes hot on the heels of the standard MT-09 update earlier this year, with three key upgrades: top-shelf KYB suspension, Brembo brakes, and some interesting racetrack-inspired electronics. Interestingly, the MT-09 SP has now been joined by the long-awaited 2025 Yamaha YZF-R9. Revealed just last week, the track-only R9 is the larger sibling to the R7. It's got the same excellent triple-cylinder CP3 engine as the MT-09, yet the R9 is a full supersport machine that's positioned to go up against the other machines in the class. It'll be interesting to see how it fares, and as soon as we've had a chance to ride it, we'll let you know! Both Kenny and his son's world championship winning motorcycles—as well as one of Team KR's Proton MotoGP racebikes and all their memorabilia—is now all a permanent part of the Barber Motorsports Museum Collection. I sat down with Kenny at the recent Barber Vintage Festival, and he talks to me in his frank and funny style about almost everything. Why the bike now on display (his 1980 Grand Prix race-winning Yamaha YZR500) is his favorite race bike; what drove him to such extraordinary achievements; and what it was like to ride—and win—on the fearsome Yamaha TZ750 2-stroke dirt tracker that one time at the Indy Mile. Kenny candidly tells me what's different about the modern era race bikes compared to his era; why he wouldn't hire legend Max Biaggi to ride his KR MotoGP bike; what he thought of his fearsome rival Barry Sheene, and of course, with a twinkle in his eye—why he likes English women. It's a fascinating insight into one of the truly greatest motorcycle racers of all time.

Szn 4 is here! Jake & Cov talk a lot of basketball, leading off the show getting into a deep dive about Wyc Grousbeck putting the Celtics up for sale just 2 weeks after winning banner 18. We discuss what we believe led to this involving player contracts, upcoming tv deal & ROI. Then we get into NBA Free Agency Klay to Mavs, PG13 to 76ers, CP3 to Spurs Of course we had to talk about Bronny & the blatant lying going on with the James & Lakers camp. We end out the show with top NBA Free Agency signings 2000-Present
Free Agency is wrapping up and we have lots of thoughts! The Sixers snagged PG but does it really mean anything? OKC got a huge W by snagging Hartenstein, and the Spurs are going to get some real veteran leadership in CP3. The Celtics also managed to keep their whole squad together in an underrated W. The Nuggets, Clippers, Lakers, and Bucks all did a whole lot of nothing. Stick around for Hot Streak Shooting Slump
In this episode, our panelists dive into the NBA's hottest topics, starting with what moves the Memphis Grizzlies and the Pelicans should make. They analyze the Wizards' signing of Jonas Valančiūnas and explore whether OKC or the Spurs can acquire Lauri Markkanen. The discussion continues with CP3's potential impact on the Spurs and whether Denver would be better with Klay Thompson instead of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. They evaluate the Magic's signing of KCP, the Warriors rejecting Zach LaVine, and Denver's prospects without their greatest offensive player in the WCF. Additionally, they discuss Jokic's request for Denver to sign Russell Westbrook and whether the Clippers should have let go of PG13. Finally, they cover the Celtics' ownership group's plans to sell the team. NBA Free Agency! East is a Beast! Klay has new digs! Lebron has a new teammate! What makes a Sports GOAT? Are any in our midst right now? PFOTW! Buzzers! Wemby now has the Point God to develop his game as CP3 will try his luck with team number 7. And Lebron got his wish and Bronny will play with him. Legit players? Or special treatment?Speaking of Lebron, we have a discussion about GOAT discussion. Played out? Or fair assessments to make on players? And the guys wonder - are we in the midst of watching an actual GOAT? You might be surprised to hear the answer. Plus, punches abound as a lot of the bad guys get held to account this week. Bickerstaff, sign Tobias Harris(48:50) - Where will Brandon Ingram be traded?(52:20) - What to expect from Jimmy Butler? On this episode of the Good Word with Goodwill, Yahoo Sports senior NBA reporter Vincent Goodwill is joined by Sam Amick from The Athletic to rundown all of the news coming out of the first night of NBA free agency. The guys start things off with the biggest news, that Paul George is leaving the Los Angeles Clippers for the Philadelphia 76ers. The guys talk about the fit for George in Philly, and explain how losing one of their biggest contracts could end up being a silver lining for the Clippers as they open their new arena.Speaking of the Clippers, they re-signed James Harden for less than the max and also signed Derrick Jones Jr. as an athletic replacement for Paul George in the starting lineup. The guys talk about where the Clippers go from here and how concerned they are about Kawhi Leonard playing for Team USA this summer.Chris Paul, fresh off being waived by the Golden State Warriors, signed a one-year deal to join Victor Wembanyama in San Antonio. Sam likens this year with the Spurs to CP3's previous one-year stop with the Oklahoma City Thunder and explains how Paul could help bridge the age gap between Wemby and Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. The guys talk about Kentavious Caldwell-Pope signing with the Orlando Magic, but mostly they talk about the Denver Nuggets losing talent since winning the title last year and the restraints of the new CBA.Isaiah Hartenstein was the best free agent center on the market, and he's a perfect fit for the Oklahoma City Thunder, who signed him early this morning. Sam Presti continues to put together an incredible roster that should be ready to compete for a title right now.As Vince works us into “The Outlet”, where we talk about non-free agency news, the guys spend some time talking about the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons hired the recently-fired J.B. Bickerstaff as their new head coach, are working on a max extension for Cade Cunningham and signed free agent veteran forward Tobias Harris. They have a long way to go, but that's an excellent start for a new rebuild in Detroit. While talking about Jonas Valančiūnas signing with the Washington Wizards, the guys end up discussing Brandon Ingram on the Pelicans and where he might end up in a trade. Finally, Sam wants to know from Vinnie what he thinks we should expect from Jimmy Butler going forward. What kind of year will he have? Is there still a chance for an extension in Miami?Check out the rest of the Yahoo Sports podcast family at https://apple.co/3zEuTQj or at Yahoo Sports PodcastsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
