After talking about other entries in the Saints Row series, it occurred to me that I did not mention Gat Out of Hell, which I recently played again. So join me and Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kenzington down in New Hades for a devil of a good time.
Time to get your kicks with us on our midweek show about the video games we're playing! Jerod kicks off with Saints Row: Gat out of Hell and Man O' War: Corsair. Jeremy kicks in with Persona 4: Golden and the Dreadnought PS4 beta. Dale kicks down the door with Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Heroes of the Storm 2.0. Then the guys do a kickline. No they don't. But there's still games. That's enough controversial opinions on Batman movies. This week, we talk about how bad Suicide Squad was, which leads to us talking about video game portrayals versus movies, and then historical figures because why not. Important questions: What city did the original Assassin's Creed game take place in? What was the last decent portrayal of Harley Quinn? Are there too many white guys in video games? Keep an ear out for Andy disparaging sexist censorship in video games while Tony gets overwhelmed by his pronunciation of "Quebec."
Welcome to the first full edition of YAP, the one where we finally get our shit together! This week we talk what games we have played along with the news about this crazy world of video games! Be sure to stay till the end for a uh... thing... but just as a teaser: Antonio has been playing: 999, Subnautica, Evolve Stage 2 and more! While Andy has been playing XCOM, Gat Out Of Hell and Overwatch!... oh yeah, played two games together.... Why did they feel the way they did? What do they wish they had been able to discuss in more depth in their review? Also: Did they play it wrong?
