After showing up unexpectedly in Sourhampton, Robin Hood himself accuses the heroes of poaching on his land and demands a percentage of their takings as dues. Unwilling to pay, the heroes agree to a series of contests against notable members of the Merry Men that, if won, will allow them to operate freely in Sherwood Forest until springtime. Later on, the heroes receive word that the Lovely Lad Roger Goode has been captured by Flemish mercenaries and imprisoned in the dungeons of Nottingham Castle. Determined to free him, they decide to seek help from a legendary figure.

Yes, we have covered this before going to try to go in more depth. When did it originate? It seems pretty clear alignment began in Chainmail as a way to have the “good guys” and the “bad guys”.
