Tim and Guy are joined by Travis and Griffin McElroy to enjoy their first(ish) watch of 2 Fast 2 Furious. There is a heavy divide in the ranks as to whether the movie was actually good or not, but the film's quality quickly takes a conversational backseat to the real star of the watch: a very unique torture idea that all can agree is well worth discussing. In this outing, we have no Dom Toretto, but the stars are still out to shine, including Eva Mendez, the introduction of Roman Pearce (Tyrese) and possibly Tej (unsure, the boiz haven't seen the first movie). Paul Walker's beautiful eyes overpower any lack of acting chops and ejection seats are cool. All season 6 episodes available in bee-youtiful video form at TWIOAT.substack.com Hosted on Acast. Can't stop, won't stop, #Deathblart The Blart quintet are back for a ninth year. Nothing will stop them from their annual watch and review of BP:MC2, not an industry-wide strike, not a lack of enthusiasm for the film. In this refreshingly straight-laced approach at the material, all five reviewers have remained (mainly) sober and checked in. This mentally sharp environment has allowed for a Griffin-Timbo mindmeld to explore the possible religious and philosophical ramifications of Paul fighting a bird in a fake garden setting to piano music. Travis is attempting to explain to his child that this movie IS a comedy. Guy is quick to defend the Toyota Yaris. And Justin has once again figured out a way to turn the watch into a joyful experience while watching shirtless in bed. Please enjoy, season greetings to one and all and do consider purchasing a shirt or poster this year because all the proceeds go to the First Nations Development Institute. https://mcelroymerch.com/collections/til-death-do-us-blart Current hosts: Justin, Travis and Griffin McElroy, Tim Batt and Guy Montgomery

Saluton, Feliĉan Kristnaskon, Feliĉa Ĥanuko, and if you are listening to this between or after December 26th 2022 to January 1st 2023, Feliĉa Kwanzaa! Welcome to Episode #335 of Succotash that is the last episode before Christmas of 2022. I am Tyson Saner, and I will be your host for the duration. If you listened to last week's Epi334, then you know that it was hosted by show creator and executive producer Marc Hershon, with whom I share hosting duties with for alternating episodes. In that episode you were no doubt delighted to enjoy the content that he brought you in the form of a show titled Season's Clippings!, which featured five, count 'em, FIVE clips from other peoples' soundcasts, namely the shows known as Hey, Riddle, Riddle; Jordan Klepper Fingers the Conspiracy; Man Thinkers; The Salty Language Podcast AND Fandom!. Also, there was no spot from our longtime FAKE sponsor "Henderson's Pants" to be heard in that episode. There was, instead, a brand-new spot from Bill Heywatt offering his Master Class…on running master classes. It's a well-stuffed stocking of an episode, and I urge you to check it out whenever you can. It is still available to listen to thru the listening platforms Apple & Google Podcasts, Spotify, Soundcloud, Stitcher, Audible, iHeart Radio, YouTube, Amazon Music, PodBay, Podchaser, and at our homesite SuccotashShow.com, where we have that episodes and all of the other ones dating back almost 12 years in the Succotash archives. But that was last week, and this is this week, and for this week I've got 3 clips for you from the soundcasts known as Hollywood Palms Podcast, The Besties, and The Viral Podcast. I've also decided to include a classic Holiday Season Henderson's Pants ad because…'tis the season. I can't think of any reason to delay the proceedings any further, so let's get to it. CLIPS Hollywood Palms Podcast Genius Royale presents the Hollywood Palms Podcasts, wherein each week they interview a guest and then give them a palm reading and talk about their past, present and future. Our clip is snipped from recent Episode 4 from November, 2022, and features guest Sara Benincasa, host of the Well, This Isn't Normal soundcast and author of "Real Artists Have Day Jobs", "Agorafabulous!" and more! The Besties As the show's description goes, "It's 'Game of the Year' meets 'King of the Hill' as four of Earth's best friends – Griffin McElroy, Justin McElroy, Chris Plante, and Russ Frushtick – rank and review their favorite video games. Because shouldn't the world's best friends pick the world's best games?" Our selected snippet is from November 17th, 2022, an episode netitled "Boldly Going Where No Hedgehog's Gone Before in Sonic Frontiers", and in this clip is the end of the conversation about the game "Somerville", which leads into a conversation about the game "Pentiment" on Xbox Game Pass. The Viral Podcast I read that hosts Chelcie Lynn and Paige Ginn are comedians — not therapists — but they have a soundcast which is pretty much the same thing. We sample that in this clip from Epi60 from earlier this month, when the hosts talked about terrible roommates, human tables, goals, salt baths, self help, jokes, would-you-rathers, Oh Do Me, and much more! And that brings us more or less neatly to the end portion of Epi335. I do hope you find something in this episode that was enjoyable, and perhaps you will go in search of one or all of the soundcasts you heard to listen to more of their content. If you do, tell 'em Succotash sent you. You'd be doing us a huge favor and we appreciate you for it. We also appreciate your listening to the end of this episode so you can hear me tell you how much you are appreciated. In the spirit of the season and of the idea itself, be sure to remember to tell those that you appreciate that you do, as often as you can. I feel like that might help foster a social environment that will be more beneficial to the overall psyche of society…if that's a thing. I believe it can be. So, until after Christmas, I've been Tyson Saner wishing you the happiest of holiday seasons that could ever be possible. Thank you Marc Hershon, Joe Paulino, Bill Heywatt, Kenny Durgess, and Scott Carvey for more than a decade of the feeling that I belong somewhere. Enjoy Episode 336, see you again in Episode 337…probably…Be decent to each other and, If you wouldn't mind, please…pass the Succotash. — Marc Hershon

This episode contains three original poems - 'hanna poem', 'soul mother', and 'the peterson poem', all by me, Bailey Rodfield. Cover art for this week's episode is also by me, Bailey Rodfield. 'hanna poem' uses both audio and music from The Adventure Zone, by Griffin McElroy and The McElroy Family (TM). You can find the show here! This episode is all about my love for my group of friends I run a Dungeons and Dragons game for, how I approach the role of game master, and why the creative process behind the way our game works has been a great lighthouse guiding me through the pandemic. Also, I mention Griffin McElroy, most well-known for eating a banana weird on the internet, being the youngest brother, and 30-under-30 media luminary, on My Brother, My Brother, and Me and The Adventure Zone. He is part of the McElroy Family, and they are, in their own words, the first family of podcasting. Check out their stuff at mcelroy.family (https://www.themcelroy.family/). My name is Hayley Rose… BLUE: My name is Lillie Blue. BOTH: and we are the good boys girls. HAYLEY: Today we're going to be reviewing Griffin's Amiibo corner, a polygon series wherein noted good boy and littlest brother, Griffin McElroy examines and reviews Amiibos, a delightful creation from Nintendo that blends both toy and game alike. BLUE: In this show Griffin gives a deep and professional analysis of these delightful plastic friends and also gives us a wonderful critical review of the craftsmanship, paint lines, use value, and paint lines… (React to fucking up the script) HAYLEY: While you might go into this show thinking it's an ordinary show, think again, this Amiibo reviewer has a special take on every single one of these wonderful nfc enabled companions. BLUE: If you're fed up with other Amiibo reviewers and/or collectors and/or gamers and/or Reggie Fils Aime. Fear not. You can take a big bite out of Griffin's Amiibo corner and it's never too much to chew on. HAYLEY: That's right honey. While most shows about collectibles and games and reviews are quite a mouthful. You can rest assured that these snack sized videos won't fill you up. BLUE: That's right honey. Each video is only about 1-3 minutes long except for the ones that take you on a journey of thoughts and emotions that only a McElroy brother could provide. HAYLEY: Starting in 2016, Griffin set out on a quest to review all the Amiibos in his signature style. But sadly this series was cut short by the villain Tara Long. BLUE: But fret not. The brief but significant impact that Griffin's Amiibo corner has left on this world can still be felt echoing in the halls of eternity. You could even say that Griffin's Amiibo corner changed the world. Beat Sound cue: [goofer] HAYLEY: Of course we're only kidding. This is a silly show and is very much funny and not too serious. You can rest easy knowing that this Amiibo review is the most easily digestible one out there. BLUE: Now in the spirit of the show we're reviewing, we're going to keep this episode short. HAYLEY: But fear not. In two weeks we're going to be giving you two episodes in one day, and it's a hotly requested topic that we can't wait to dig out teeth into. BLUE: In the meantime please give us a follow on twitter @GoodBoysGirlsTM and be sure to leave us a review on iTunes and Google Play or wherever you can. HAYLEY: You can follow us on twitter individually @BlueSpaceQueen and @Haystews BLUE: Be sure to check out other shows on our network like Overwhich, the video game podcast with good boys on it who talk about Overwatch news and also rate new games based on how much Overwatch time they would spend on the game. HAYLEY: Or Cryptid keeper. The wonderful and successful podcast where two great friends go over the lore and histories of various cryptids like the Jersey Devil and El Chupacabra.
