Welcome back to a special episode of Fratello On Air! This week, we bring you a compilation of recordings from Watches and Wonders 2025. We patched together several segments and even had a guest! Enjoy this inside look at the world's largest watch event.Watches and Wonders 2025 may be over, but it's still fresh in our minds. As we did for the last Geneva Watch Days, this episode is a collection of small recordings from the conference. It reflects our thoughts about the latest releases, people, and trends. Enjoy the content, and remember, this show was recorded on the floor in a crowded space.HandgelenkskontrolleWell, there's no real Handgelenkskontrolle this week. However, Mike brought two watches to help ward off the hairy eyeball of Swiss customs. The Patek Philippe Calatrava 570 and Ming 22.01 GMT made the cut. Balazs is wearing his Rolex GMT-Master 1675 at Watches and Wonders and brought several pieces, including a lovely Angelus 215. Mike delivered a vintage Montal beads-of-rice bracelet and another Angelus to Balazs — special delivery!Watches and Wonders — live reportingWhile we weren't at Watches and Wonders together the entire time, we found the time to meet up for a few different recording sessions. As a special treat, we managed to corner Gary Shteyngart, a friend of the show, and got his thoughts about the releases, the fair, and the craziness. We even gave our friend Eric Wind a shout-out! You'll hear about all the big brands, including Rolex and some smaller marques too!We hope you enjoy the show, and thank you for listening! As always, if you have ideas for future episodes, please let us know!

Immerse yourself in La Dolce Vita as the CP7 Boys talk to Mo Coppoletta, an avid De Bethune collector, tattoo artist and designer, as well as the man and mind behind Italy's newly launched and stylish independent watch brand, Gagà Laboratorio. Joining us from Verona in Italy, London-based Mo's passion for style and flair in his debut watch, the Labormatic, is there for all to hear, but it's his quest for the finest quality that only a good watch can have, that will win you over in this show. Like the great movie La Dolce Vita's director, Frederico Fellini, he shares that  “Sweet Life” passion for making sure that feeling good is a priority, with watches and just about anything meaningful to us as individuals in life, and to never compromise that feeling. You will get a sense of how he puts his heart and soul into everything he does, especially when designing the Labormatic. Design is one of the most important qualities of a watch, particularly in the creative independent watchmaking space, and we get to hear about the incredible design influences behind both versions of the new Gagà Laboratorio Labormatic, the Cinquanta and the Bauhaus. Discover how they are based on 1950s Milanese-inspired industrial designs, stylish Italian scooters,  Smeg kitchen appliances, the Porsche 356 and surprisingly San Giorgio fans! Listen in as we unravel many strands of these 20th century design icons from the 50s and 60s in the DNA of this remarkable watch. The boys first saw this watch at Geneva Watch Days 2024 and immediately felt compelled to talk to the man behind the vision, so buckle up and enjoy the ride as we revel in an Italian and CP7  “settimo cielo”.Don't forget to check out the show notes on our website to add a visual experience at:www.chronopassion7.com or at our Instagram @chrono_passion_7.Intro-Outro Music Credit "The Attic Is For Work" By Streamer Music Group - Copyright Free Music

Join us as we welcome William Massena back to Keeping Time podcast. Fresh from Geneva Watch Days, join us as we catch up with William, one of the most knowledgeable and highly respected authorities on all things watches. With a breadth of knowledge spanning the entire history of watchmaking, the former CEO of Antiquorum Watches (auction house) and Managing Director of Time Zone offers a perspective and level of expertise few can challenge. The conversation begins with a deep-dive into the newest product launch from Massena Lab, a striking and unique vintage-inspired, modern take on a classic Regatta Yacht Timer. William explains the unique design approach and discusses his partner for this latest collaboration. The new watch is the first piece launched by a new watch company, ALBISHORN, with a very interesting design-ethos. The patented movement is just one noteworthy element of the new watch. Following discussion of William's eponymous brand, Massena Lab, we switch gears to discuss the recent Geneva Watch Days (GWD). Created just a couple of years ago, during the pandemic, William fully describes the purpose behind the show, the founders of the event and the experience of attending. Let's just say that any watch event that can be enjoyed wearing shorts and flip-flops whilst sipping Rosé is surely worthy of serious consideration.  William brings the show to life for our listeners and fully describes the vibe, experience and intentions of this important newcomer to the watch-industry calendar. The newest GWD releases are discussed. Of course, being a conversation between watch nerds, William Massena and Jeremy Oster, the conversation meanders and explores side-topics with a great detour into unraveling the history of the modern Breguet brand (pre-Swatch Group) and Daniel Roth. The conversation further delves into the early history and importance of FP Journe and Vianney Halter and the connection with Breguet. Incredibly, this fascinating conversational diversion occurs whilst discussing Konstantin Chaykin's record breaking "ThinKing" watch. As always, the conversation with William is natural, free-flowing and filled with information and insight that will be new, even for the most knowledgeable listeners. We hope that you enjoy this conversation as much as we enjoy creating Keeping Time Podcast. Visit Keeping Time with Oster Watches blog for more podcast and photos.

This week on aBlogtoWatch Weekly, Rick is joined by Ariel, Ripley, and David, the latter of whom is in an automotive showroom eating tiramisu and waiting for his car to be repaired. Ariel muses about why watch repair shops don't have waiting rooms, to which Ripley replies, "That would be a six-month rental." It's been a busy week in watch world, particularly for Ariel and David, who are fresh back from Geneva Watch Days. There was a heatwave in Geneva, and Ariel proclaimed Czapek & Cie to have won the sweat-resistant bracelet contest. David's take on GWD is that it was fun but way too much to take in during the time allotted. The guys get down to business with a look at the new H. Moser & Cie x Studio Underd0g collab, which Ariel thinks was designed in bright colors to attract insects and birds more than people. Rick simply doesn't get it, and David doesn't disagree. They then turn their attention to the new Konstantin Chaykin concept watch, ThinKing, the "world's thinnest mechanical watch." There's not a lot of traction among the team for this watch, either — but remember, it's a prototype. Rick has asked ChatGPT, "Which watch brand collaborations does no one want to see?" and the answer is the best possible argument against AI. Next up, Speake Marin has a new watch, the Ripples Skeleton, that the team has no truck with for various reasons discussed at length. All in all, it's been an iffy week of new watches. Welcome back to another episode of Fratello On Air! This week, we have a different episode style. Your friendly co-hosts check in while on the go at Geneva Watch Days 2024. Ultimately, we try to give you a feel for the non-stop schedule and what it's like to be at a show. There's no banter beforehand, so let the audio roll! We're back from Geneva Watch Days 2024, but while we were on the go at the show, we turned the microphones on for brief segments. You'll hear us discuss our schedules, brands, individual watches, people, shoes, and more! We hope you like it. If not, we'll be back with a more normal episode next week!HandgelenkskontrolleWhile recording most segments, we attempted to bring up the watches on our wrists. Due to Mike's previous "fun" at the Swiss border, he kept his options to the Ming 17.09 Blue and the Patek Philippe Calatrava 570. Balazs was slightly more daring with his Rolex Submariner 5513, Ming 17.09 Burgundy, and Sinn Excelsior Park chronograph. Choosing a watch for an event like Geneva Watch Days is challenging and it's often best to pick a brand that isn't exhibiting. Plus, when on the go in 30-plus-degree humid weather, it also helps to consider a relatively robust watch. As an aside, none of our watches suffered any damage. On the go in GenevaBalazs and I spent three days at Geneva Watch Days 2024 and it felt like we maximized our time at the event. Meetings started at 9 am and ran until at least 6 pm. Then, afterglow events kicked off at the main tent or brand-specific parties. We moved back and forth between hotels and boutiques for discussions, fueled on espresso and water. Food? It takes a conscious effort to remember to eat! Still, it was great fun and we enjoyed seeing some amazing timepieces. We hope you enjoy today's episode. Next week, we will discuss our favorite watches from the event, which will wrap up Geneva Watch Days 2024!Thanks for listening! If you have any future ideas for episodes, please let us know!
