A woman sneaks along mansion grounds, seeking entry to the house to get revenge on the evil old man living there. But her memory is wrapped in darkness. Is she doing the right thing?Lee Clark Zumpe, an entertainment columnist with Tampa Bay Newspapers, earned his bachelor's in English at the University of South Florida. He began writing poetry and fiction in the early 1990s. His work has regularly appeared in a variety of literary journals and genre magazines over the last two decades. Publication credits include World War Cthulhu and The Children of Gla'aki from Dark Regions Press; Through a Mythos Darkly from PS Publishing; Children of Lovecraft Country and Shadows of an Inner Darkness from Golden Goblin Press; and Corridors and The Pickman Papers from Innsmouth Gold. Lee lives on the west coast of Florida with his wife and daughter. Lee's inclination toward horror manifested itself early in his childhood when he began flipping through the pages of Forrest J. Ackerman's Famous Monsters of Filmland and reading Gold Key Comic classics like Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery and Grimm's Ghost Stories. In his teenage years, he discovered Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Ambrose Bierce, Richard Matheson and other masters of the genre. Lee's work often focuses on character interaction set against a pervading sense of cosmic dread and high strangeness. You can read "In The Window" at https://www.kaidankaistories.com.Website: kaidankaistories.comPlease feel free to contact me through the website contact form.Follow us on: InstagramFacebookBlueskySubstack

We're coming into the home stretch of Golden Goblin's latest Kickstarter, an updated version of Island of Ignorance. Island of Ignorance is a collection of five scenarios, eight short articles, eighteen pre-generated investigators and a quick and simple equipment selection table (familiar to anyone who's played with GGP at conventions). Our inaugural title feature art by Reuben Dodd, maps by Alyssa Faden, articles by Geoff Gillan, Daniel Harms, Scott David Aniolowski, Oscar Rios, Tyler Hudak, Eckhard Huelshoff, and Tom Lynch; custom handouts supplied by the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society; and adventures by Brian Sammons, Mark Shireman, Oscar Rios, Jeffrey Moeller, and Jon Hook. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/golden-goblin-press/island-of-ignorance-the-third-cthulhu-companion-for-7e/description https://www.goldengoblinpress.com https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/477685/lights-in-the-trees CORE Products: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?filters=100202_0_0_0_0 https://www.etsy.com/shop/MidwestResinGeek https://www.patreon.com/legendsoftabletop Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net

Keen-eared listeners will note that Van Guarrault refers to the show as "The Black Catacomb", not just his studio. This may have been recorded before Guarrault had settled on a name for the show, or it may imply that he had other shows on the drawing board. It is something of a forbidden fruit, too, to hear a segment from his "Illustrations" translation. In 1951 Hoover's FBI raided the Golden Goblin Press offices on the pretext of "printing literature detrimental to the moral sanctity of America". Nearly the entire print run of Guarrault's "Illustrations" was confiscated and destroyed, along with the works of Justin Geoffrey, Fletcher Grey and Hassan bin Zaiid. Ah, the McCarthy years...
I was happy to have Oscar Rios on the show again, as a guest this time, to talk about Golden Goblin Press's latest Kickstarter The Terrors of Octobernomicon. I am happy to have Oscar Rios back on the show again. We're going to be chatting about Golden Goblin Press's latest Kickstarter Growing Up / Overnight. Its a two book horror fiction collection. "Between Twilight and Dawn" may look familar if you follow GGP as it was launched previously on Kickstarter but unfortunately did not fund last time. I for one am excited to see it's back! The other book, "An Eldritch Legacy -The Cousins Come of Age" is a sequel to "The Children of Lovecraft Country". We rejoin the cousins of the Morgan Clan 10 years later. Now in their early 20's our six cousins from Dunwich, Arkham, Kingsport and Innsmouth as they make their way in the world. Each continues to face challenges as the malevolent forces of the Cthulhu Mythos surround them, and in some cases, reside within them as well. We hope you'll check it out and back these great books. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/golden-goblin-press/growing-up-overnight-two-horror-short-story-collections https://www.goldengoblinpress.com/ https://twitter.com/GoldenGoblinP https://www.birdscoffeecompany.com/coffees/legends-of-tabletop-legendary-brew Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order https://www.patreon.com/legendsoftabletop Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/

I had a great time talking with Oscar Rio about Golden Goblin Press's latest Kickstarter for Cthulhu Invictus, Britannia and Beyond. We also chatted about Covid-19, Netflix movies/series and a bunch of other random stuff. ‘Britannia is the border, the furthest outpost of Empire, bounded by cruel Oceania on all sides… what lies beyond that border, what crosses and passes unseen… those things concern me more than any barbarian tribe, more than any army of men… yes, you are right to worry about approaching that border, for what waits in Britannia and beyond… is said to be the doom of Rome.’ – Vatia of Rhodes, 54 AD https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/golden-goblin-press/britannia-and-beyond-a-regional-guide-for-cthulhu-invictus https://twitter.com/GoldenGoblinP https://www.goldengoblinpress.com/ Here's a link to all of our Cthulhu Invictus gameshttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL860GgSZ_Q2M2D74SYWYLDrjrTc0WeeaQ https://www.birdscoffeecompany.com/coffees/legends-of-tabletop-legendary-brew Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order https://www.patreon.com/legendsoftabletop Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/

This episode, all four hosts are back for a rare quorum, and we’re taking sci-fi tv shows and Mythosifying them. This episode was recorded on August 15, 2019. This is our brief-brief-brief pre-NecronomiCon episode, before we get together in Providence. A big thank you goes to Golden Goblin Press for sponsoring this episode! Campus Crier First thing - a huge thank you to Murph for a Herculean and almost Sisyphean effort to revamp, redesign, spackle and patch the MU forums as well as the website. Thank you, Murph. Chaosium has announced the release of Flotsam and Jetsam, a new four part series of scenarios for the CoC Organized Play Campaign. The scenarios will be released monthly to Keepers of the Cult of Chaos. I hope you'll join me as I talk with Oscar Rios, President of Golden Goblin Press. They have a new Kickstarter going on right now for a collection of mature Call of Cthulhu scenarios, one of which Oscar swore would never be published. The dark and malevolent forces of the Cthulhu Mythos mostly ignore humankind. But these entities are also shrewd opportunists. Many of them see humans as a resource to be harvested, corrupted or enlisted for their dark plots. Humanity, with all its noble aspirations, has many flaws. Greed, lust, envy, hatred and fear are ripe fruits for these forces to exploit. Division and separation makes the humans easier to control. While the best of humankind fights for just laws and civilization, those who cling to power and privilege stand ready to quash protections for those who need them most. In the shadows of human injustice lurk loathsome, inhuman entities. As investigators square off against the worst aspects of mankind, they also find themselves entangled with the parasitic powers of the Mythos.
