Season Finale - Goblin Kings and Popstars SingBat Alchemist uses gym-kata to make his way through the swarm of goblins dance-fighting to Enrique Iglesias. He moves under the bleachers and sees bad-kid goblins smoking cigarettes and making out. He melts them with an acid potion.Warlock Rock hits a button that raises a fashion-show catwalk in the center of the room. She sashays her way to the Goblin King, does a diving punch, but misses and lands sprawled out on the floor behind him. Dragon Warrior runs on the top of goblin heads and lands on Lotto the demon dog, and commands Lotto to breath fire on the goblins while running to the goblin king. Rocky-Staroth tries to regain control of Lotto the demon dog, but Dragon Warrior maintains control. Dragon Warrior miscasts the spell Poison Lick of Fug making his own face quite gross.Tiger Wizard misses whacking the goblin king with his wand. The goblin king polymorphes Tiger Wizard into a goblin adorned with goblin skulls… he's now Goblin Wizard. Ariana, polymorphed into a goblin (Gobliana), successfully snaps Tiger Wizard out of his polymorphed mind control, then takes a Gobliana-sized bite out of the Goblin King's leg.Goblin Wizard climbs up the human-sized Goblin King's shoulder, wacks him in the face with his wand Dorkus, then gruesomely peels the mask off of the Goblin King. Goo, like pizza cheese, still connects between the mask and the Goblin King's face. Goblin Wizard puts the mask on becoming the new Goblin Wizard King. He begins to succumb to its power, including growing a tiger-demon face on his torso. He uses the mask to calm down the throng of goblins.Dragon Warrior stabs Rocky-Staroth in the chest with his soul-bound sword. Bat Alchemist strong-arms Rocky-Staroth into teaching Goblin Wizard how to use the mask. He turns Ariana back into a human. Goblin Wizard finishes off Rocky-Staroth and puts everyone back to work for Dr. Dre-colich. Warlock Rock makes friends with Ariana, and all of the Vat Spawn ride off into the sunset with Ariana for future adventures involving a mysterious Beibataur.ANNOUNCEMENTSDungeon Cats: Tiger Wizard's rules-lite TTRPG where you play feline adventurers is now available at Exalted Funeral. The Vat Spawn watch the Goblin King polymorph the missing Ariana from a beautiful pop star into a grotesque goblin. A hundred goblins cheer him on as the transformation occurs. “Goblins is people?” Dragon Warrior queried. Bat Alchemist lights a joint from the demon dog's fire breath to regain his lost health. Then he reverse engineered Warlock Roc's listening device to play Enrique Iglesias through the tone-stone walls, causing them to gather in one area for a makeshift dance party. Turns out goblins are obsessed with Enrique Iglesias. Tiger Wizard takes advantage of the distracting dance party, springs through the door, and casts Nitar's Fireball, serving a dish of fiery destruction. The Goblin King breathes fire from the demonic face in the center of his torso, but Tiger Wizard and Bat Alchemist move out of the way. The goblins swarm the Vat Spawn as they fight-dance to Enrique Iglesias.Dragon Warrior sits atop the demon dog Lotto and charges into the room. Lotto breathes fire into the goblin horde as Dragon Warrior swan dives into the goblins as he casts Pognif Explosion exploding himself and a single goblin to bits… and then he reforms.Bat Alchemist uses his soulbound weapon Clippy's ability to hit multiple targets. In return for his services, Clippy demands to be of assistance immediately and makes Bat Alchemist do calisthenics to get better at attacking.Tiger Wizard dances through the goblin horde to whiff hitting the Goblin King, and notices that he's wearing a wooden mask. Warlock Roc attempts to sneak away, but trips on her high heels into the goblin horde. Dragon Warrior wades through the gobs to give Warlock Roc a healing potion, which brought her back to full power and made her glow pink. The Goblin King grabs Tiger Wizard and begins polymorphing him into a goblin. Tune in next week to see how goblined up Tiger Wizard gets.ANNOUNCEMENTSPAX Unplugged: December 6th through 8th in Philadelphia. 307 Goblin Guards & Credit Cards - Rise of the Vat SpawnThe Vat Spawn peruse the lobby of the goblin museum when the alarm button gets pushed after Tiger Wizard is caught trying to steal trillmatic rings. A negotiation starts up on either side of a force field with a goblin on stilts named Snax. An elite goblin named Meat Fists swallows a cat whole and pulls out its skeleton to intimidate the crew. Bat Alchemist and Tiger Wizard calm the situation down with successful converse rolls. Tiger Wizard uses a Mad Dungeon word to change the fabric of reality to create Tone Stone Touch Pads for bureaucratic transactions, and now the team has a Goblin Museum bank card. They pay for a tour of the museum. They're given four beefy goblins as escorts: Gilbert (IRS suspenders), Stink Pits (no shirt, tie, cargo pants, dollar sign tattoos), Glerbnid (big feet, toes busting out of dress shoes) and Tor (eye magnifying glasses). Room one of the tour is of the banking area. Tiger Wizards' obsession with the vault causes conflict with Glerbnid, but Warlock Roc calms the situation down. MD 305 Mutilations & Standing OvationsThis week the Vat Spawn, dressed as Def Jamisus Garys (that's the police), have infiltrated the colosseum just in time to view the public mutilation of ten people, who were then dropped to the Necropolis below. This week the Vat Spawn are at the Rock Ride station platform with The Coroner. They're stopped while trying to pass through a DJPD checkpoint. The fuzz find a joint on Warlock Roc and they're detained. They unsuccessfully attempt to bribe the officers, and the cops call in backup. Tiger Wizard uses the Mad Dungeon word “sneakily” to create a cartoon style fight cloud, and they come out with their clothing swapped. The Vat Spawn escape in their new police uniforms, make their way through the municipal district to the colosseum where the executions will take place. They attempt to enter through a side entrance guarded by a DJPD officer by telling him that they were bringing The Coroner as a last minute addition to the public execution. The Coroner flips out at this undiscussed plan and runs away.Bat Alchemist utilized the Mad Dungeon word “sexy” to make every officer's name Gary. AGAB: All Garys Are Bastards. They make friends with this Gary and he lets them into the colosseum just in time to see ten people be mutilated and dumped into the Necropolis below.ANNOUNCEMENTSTHE MEGA DUNGEON MEN EP: Our new TTRPG fantasy meets hip hop album, The Mega Dungeon Men EP is out this Friday. This week our heroes meet The Coroner in the basement of his mortuary. We learn that the dead bodies of Def Jamisus city are sent down chutes to the Necropolis below. The Marshal of Mummies explains that astral markers are needed to re-up their magical powers before leaving them with The Coroner to take them to view today's public executions, and will meet them in goblin town later. The vat spawn move through the streets of the walled city, learning more about tone-stone, that there's venders selling bags of spaghetti everywhere, and that their public transit system, The Rock Ride aka The “R,” moves along the perimeter of the city's 100-foot tall walls. They move from an undead district, through the interior wall to the market district, to the entrance to the inner concentric circle wall to the city center. There, they're stopped at a Def Jamisus Police Department checkpoint. Warlock Rock fails at casting the spell candy talk, and is frisked. The DJPD finds a joint and the entire crew is detained. Will they be thrown into the slammer, or make a mystical escape from the fuzz?ANNOUNCEMENTSTHE MEGA DUNGEON MEN EP: Our latest song “More Than Meets the Eye” is out now on all streaming platforms. This week's guest is Matthew Grau of WildFire Games and we talked about his upcoming CthulhuTech: The Shadow War Quick-Start Rules (V2), working with the scumdogs of the universe to create his deck-building game Gwar vs. Time, his stint at Riot Games building the world of League of Legends, and growing up in the Twin Cities with D&D's Dave Arneson in his life.—Follow WildFire Games: Website - FB - DiscordThis pleasant cafe's walls are lined with tables and cat-condos covered in a menagerie of delicious tacos, hot sauce and churros. The proprietors are Keeper, a kindly middle-aged woman who'll train you to see a TacocaT, and Sage, an old, bearded, zen dude with long hair who'll teach you to symbiotically bond with a TacocaT. They're both wearing deer antlers covered in hanging crystals. To see a TacoCaT, you must clear your mind and think only taco thoughts. When you do, there's a ton of them. They're everywhere and it's cat chaos. They're pouring out of an interdimensional TacocaT waterfall into a cuddle puddle pool in the center of the room.A TacocaT is an adorable, squamous, symbiotic dream cat from the elemental plane of tacos. They have hard-taco-shell armor with fur tufts poking out between their plates, a hot-sauce hiss, and excrete delicious churros. When you bond with a TacocaT, they can regurgitate an infinite amount of tacos of whatever variety you can imagine, and they can attach to you to create a full body TacocaT armor. A TacocaT chooses its symbiotic host and bonds for life.Art: Tiger Wizard Words: Steve AlbertsonStory by: Andrew Bellury, Steve Albertson, Matthew Grau—This episode is sponsored by Exalted Funeral, and we talk about ARC: Doom Tabletop RPG by momatoes aka Bianca Canoza. This week's guest is Gavin Norman of Necrotic Gnome. We talk about OSE - Old School Essentials, and his incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign for Dolmenwood RPG with Exalted Funeral. The Kickstarter is live now though Sep. 8, 2023.Follow Necrotic Gnome: Website - FB - IG - XTwitter--In the center of the room is the Cauldron of Sadness. It has arms to stir itself and quick legs that dance and leap, yet it never spills a drop. It has a duality of goblin faces on either side. One is the quintessential personification of sadness, the other of happiness. The game: PCs secretly write down six items that are connected to their past. Designate three as happy and three as sad. These items appear on tables. The cauldron tells you to each choose an item that isn't your own, and add it to the cauldron. PCs tell the cauldron when they're done adding items.Resolution: If more sad items were added, it opens a portal of sadness, and sorrow begins to take over the world. If more happy items were added, a portal of happiness. If an equal amount of happy and sad items were added, the cauldron shrinks down and becomes a small pouch. Once a day you may draw from the pouch to pull out a specific item that is meaningful to whoever you're targeting. Roll a d6: 1-3 the item makes them sad, 4-6 the item makes them happy.Art: Tiger Wizard Words: Steve AlbertsonStory by: Andrew Bellury, Steve Albertson, Gavin Norman--Sky ov Crimson Flame this Saturday from 7 - 9 pm EST on the Goodman Games Twitch channel.
