Since Tyler's death in 2009 from Bullycide, we have worked with countless organizations, schools, and individuals to keep another family from having to bury a child. Tyler was bullied for years; Tyler had Asperger's Syndrome. Our voices will not fall silent until a difference is made. Being a part of the film 'Bully' allowed us to tell Tyler's story. Now, we are focusing on solutions. The Everything Starts with 1 project is dedicated to bring those solutions to communities around the world. A weekly look at father involvement in education through the Watch D.O.G.S. program of the National Center for Fathering. In February of 2005, Katie L. Greer began developing an Internet safety program to deliver to Massachusetts students. The Corruption, Fraud and Computer Crime Division of the Attorney General’s Office was inundated with requests for Internet safety presentations, and Katie rose to the challenge of expanding the existing program she created. After leaving the Attorney General’s Office, Katie worked full time as an Intelligence Analyst for the Massachusetts State Police, where she was assigned to the Missing Children Clearinghouse. Concurrently, and in large part due to the increasing demands for technology/Internet safety education, Katie built her programs into a private business, which included seven different presentations spanning grades K-12 and college, that she tailored to accommodate the developmental and emotional differences in each age group. Additionally, Katie instructs parents, teachers, administrators, and law enforcement officials on digital safety/responsibility and issues pertaining to technology. Katie now travels the country speaking on issues of technology and Internet safety education.
