https://mylifeentertainment.net/SpotifyYoutubeInstagramBioML Underwood makes an unforgettable entrance in the opening moments of his “Still I Rise” music video, stepping out of a pristine white Rolls Royce in front of the crumbling ruins of City Church in Gary, Indiana. Dressed in a sleek black designer jacket, shades, and silver jewelry, he walks into a space marked by decay and history. The contrast says everything. Surrounded by broken walls and pain, Underwood represents resilience, strength, and transformation. The message of “Still I Rise” is rooted in reality. It speaks to chaos, struggle, and survival, while offering hope to those searching for a way out. Underwood's lyrics reflect a deep responsibility to his community, uplifting the downtrodden, the misunderstood, and those on the edge of losing their way. His message is clear: lead by example, choose growth, and rise above circumstances. That authenticity is resonating. Listeners have called the track uplifting, powerful, and even a new anthem. The song's impact is backed by real success, with strong radio rotation on Chicago's 92.3, millions of YouTube views, viral traction on TikTok, and a number one spot on the global iTunes chart. With a growing Spotify audience, Underwood's reach continues to expand across platforms and generations. At the heart of the track is collaboration and intention. “Still I Rise” features Danny Boy, the iconic voice known for his work with Death Row Records and artists like 2Pac. His soulful contribution elevates the record, giving it a timeless, classic feel. Underwood spent over a year crafting the song, carefully shaping its message through meditation, lived experience, and collaboration with longtime creative partners including Damon Jones, Grammy winning producer Tone Jonez, and family input that helped shape the melodic direction.Recorded in Chicago at Pressure Point Recording Studio, the track blends the essence of 90s hip hop with a modern voice grounded in truth. Underwood's music is not fabricated. Every lyric reflects real life, loss, survival, and perspective gained over his 27 year journey in the industry. His roots run deep in Gary, Indiana, a city rich with musical legacy. Named after Marlon Jackson, Underwood's connection to music began early. In the 1980s, he was part of Le Boiz, the first rap group from Gary signed to a label. Over the years, he expanded his influence as a promoter across music and boxing before returning to his own artistry with a renewed purpose.Today, ML Underwood stands as more than an artist. He is a voice of experience, a symbol of perseverance, and a beacon for those trying to find light in dark places. His story, like his music, is about getting back up no matter what life throws your way. As he puts it, life will hit you, but the key is you do not stay down. You rise.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.
What happens when decades spent behind prison walls helping others tell their stories inspires a powerful debut novel. In this episode of The Hustler Files, we sat down with longtime prison activist, educator, and author Jean Trounstine to discuss Sounds Like Trouble to Me, a gripping story shaped by the emotional realities of incarceration, abuse, survival, justice, and hope. Jean shares how years of teaching incarcerated women, directing theater pro-grams behind bars and witnessing lives transformed inside the justice system ultimately led her to write her first novel! This conversation explores the real-life experiences that inspired her characters, the emotional complexities of trauma and redemption, and the powerful stories too often hidden from public view. The discussion also takes a deeper look at women's incarceration, abuse behind prison walls, and the courage of those fighting for justice and change. It's a conversation about storytelling, humanity, and the belief that truth whether through fiction or lived experience can challenge what we think we know.

**Clay Edwards Show – Storm Aftermath Scams: Fake “Entergy Safety Team” Hustlers Exposed** Jamie Creel of Shelter Insurance breaks down the devastation from the recent South Mississippi tornadoes in Lincoln County and Bogue Chitto, then goes straight into the scams already popping up in the aftermath. While his team was on-site at 6:30 a.m. blacking in a customer's half-destroyed house and clearing debris to prevent further rain damage, a guy rolls up in a truck with a skid steer wearing a bright orange “Entergy Safety Team” shirt. He offers to clean everything up fast… until Jamie asks if he actually works for Entergy. The guy admits he doesn't. Jamie warns listeners loud and clear: right after a major storm, hustlers and scammers swarm in pretending to be utility workers or offering immediate cleanup and repairs. They prey on families at their most vulnerable. His advice — call your actual insurance agent first, know exactly what your policy covers, and be extremely wary of anyone showing up uninvited in official-looking gear trying to pressure you into quick work. Unfiltered, no sugar added reality radio at its finest.

Behind every prison sentence is a family story. In this deeply personal Mother's Day episode of The Hustler Files, you'll meet Daisy Diaz, a justice-impacted woman and mother who shares how it felt to be the ugly duckling of her family and live on the streets beginning at the age of 12. From navigating her addictions, to her rollercoaster of incarceration, and then separation from her own children, Daisy shares a raw and honest account of a life shaped by trauma yet transformed by resilience. She opens up about the emotional toll of “mother-child” visits in prison, and the reality that while one person serves the sentence, families serve time too. Now 11 years clean, Daisy reflects on rebuilding her life, repairing relationships, and stepping into her purpose: helping other women find their way forward by planting seeds for them to follow. This episode is a powerful reminder that second chances don't just change one life, they can change generations.

Opportunity, advocacy, and second chances is always a priority conversation when 1 in 3 Americans are justice-impacted. In this episode we highlight, for an inaugural conversation, Rahsaan Hall, President & CEO of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts. This enlightening conversation explores the Urban League's mission, its national impact with 93 cities under the Urban League umbrella, and its frontline leadership in championing the Clean Slate Coalition. While there is still no Clean Slate law, in place, in Massachusetts, Rahsaan breaks down the realities of criminal records in Massachusetts where access to employment, housing, and opportunity is often shaped by a past that may no longer reflect who someone is today. Rahsaan speaks to the push for Clean Slate legislation, the effort to automate record sealing, and why removing these barriers is critical not just for individuals, but for families, communities, and the broader economy. As we learn from each episode, behind every record is a story and every story has the power to change how we see each other.

April is Second Chance Month, and this episode brings two powerful stories that show what can happen when opportunity meets determination. First, we welcome back Brandon Downey, who first joined us in Episode 19 while rebuilding his life after incarceration. Now, several years later, Brandon returns to share how recovery, persistence, and the support of second chance employers helped him transform his future. Today, he is working at the Hampshire County Jail in reentry services, mentoring others, and rebuilding his life as a fa-ther. Then, we head to Ohio to meet Lindsey Watzek of JBM Packaging, a company known for its commitment to Fair Chance hiring. Lindsey shares how a felony connected to addiction once left her feeling hopeless, but through the support of a recovery-friendly workplace, she has built a stable, independent life and is now working toward becoming the first female su-pervisor at her company. Two journeys. Two employers who said yes. And two powerful reminders that when people are given a real opportunity, everything can change.

Juggling multiple hustles often starts out as an exciting challenge but quickly turns into complete chaos. Running multiple ventures at the same time requires a completely different level of focus, discipline, and leadership. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down how serial entrepreneurs manage multiple income streams without becoming overwhelmed. When founders try to treat every project like an emergency, their attention becomes fractured. And when focus disappears, revenue often follows. The key to managing multiple businesses is not working more hours. It is about compartmentalization, strong operators, and systems that allow each venture to run efficiently. In this episode, you will learn: Why compartmentalizing your time and focus is critical when managing multiple ventures How time blocking and structured work sessions improve productivity Why successful founders build leadership teams for each business vertical How identifying the right areas that need your attention allows your businesses to scale The most effective entrepreneurs understand that they can build multiple streams of income, but they can only focus on one lane at a time. Because in business, where your attention goes, the results follow. Your Network is your NETWORTH! The Hustler Files Ep. 157 by WHMP Radio
Jack hosted Chris McDaniel's America last Sunday and discussed the conservative hosts having beef with each other for clicks.
Sports! It's time to open up a new film review cask, this one built all around three vastly different sports and this week we head to the pool hall to talk about The Color of Money. Journey with us as we discuss this long-gestating sequel to The Hustler and how this film fits into the Martin Scorsese filmography. How did this cast stack up against the original and is this a career best for Paul Newman? Is this a worthy follow-up to the classic film or is it one of Scorsese's worst films? So pour some rye, get your pool cue case, slam some money on the green, and get ready for the hustle. Cheers!

In this episode of Head, Heart, and Boots, we sit down for a conversation to unpack a fresh perspective on leadership, pressure, and the internal narratives that shape how we show up in business and in life. This episode is less about tactics and more about awareness. It is about recognizing the stories we tell ourselves when things get hard and how those stories either limit us or push us forward. We talk through how easy it is to default into frustration, comparison, or self-doubt when results do not match expectations, and why so much of leadership growth comes from learning to reframe those moments instead of reacting to them. From the pressure to perform, to the temptation to measure progress against others, to the quiet ways we avoid responsibility by externalizing problems, this conversation challenges listeners to take a more honest look at what is really driving their decisions. This episode is a reminder that leadership is not just about strategy or execution. It is about ownership, perspective, and the discipline to choose a better narrative when the default one is working against you. If you have felt stuck, frustrated, or out of alignment, this one will give you something real to wrestle with. Hope you enjoy. Chris Why You Should Listen [00:02:11] How the stories you tell yourself under pressure shape your decisions, your leadership, and your long-term outcomes [00:06:48] Why comparison and unmet expectations quietly create frustration, and how to reframe them into something productive [00:12:03] The difference between reacting to problems and taking ownership of your role in them [00:18:27] How internal narratives can either limit your growth or become the fuel that drives better performance [00:25:10] A practical way to catch yourself in negative patterns and choose a more intentional response in real time Did you know... Only 30% of businesses listed for sale actually find a buyer? Even more striking, just 10% of those sell for the price their owners anticipated or higher, meaning only 3% of all business owners achieve their desired sale price. Today I'm joined by Jon Acuff, a New York Times bestselling author who has spent years studying why so many of us procrastinate and how to finally get out of our own way. We talk about the real reasons people stall out—fear, rejection, imposter syndrome, perfectionism—and how comparison, when used correctly, can actually become a source of inspiration rather than insecurity. Jon also shares practical frameworks for focusing on effort instead of obsessing over outcomes, creating your own personal scorecard for success, and adopting a "let's find out" mentality when it comes to pursuing goals and navigating uncertainty. If you've ever felt stuck between what you say you want and what you're actually doing, this conversation will give you some tools to start closing that gap. SEASON 4 EPISODE 62: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: In case you somehow missed it, Kash Patel's enablers at the FBI (Fan Boys International) were busily denying he went to Italy for the Olympics just to see the hockey game and jock-sniff the victorious U.S. team when all sorts of video leaked out of the dressing room showing him doing exactly that - dancing, drinking, cringing. And then Patel himself couldn't resist Supposedly we sent 100 agents to help with security and he just had to be there. Guesstimated cost just for his latest stage of his perpetual vacation on our dime? $400,000. It would be bad - a future administration will probably address it as misappropriation of funds. But what makes it worse is there's a piece by Patel from 2022 complaining about previous FBI directors wasting money on vacation, and a clip about his FBI predecessor Christopher Wray's vacation travel. Simply impeaching him is insufficient. He needs to go to prison. NOT THAT TRUMP WOULD DO THAT; THIS IS THE BEHAVIOR TRUMP TEACHES: Trump is a thief and he owes you and me at least 293 billion dollars - and we want it back. The worst thief in American history - and 270 billion of that is in tariffs. Because on tariffs, the Supreme Court has given him his COMEUPPANCE. Well – it’s given him A comeuppance. Because his new argument for the new REPLACEMENT Monday tariffs was his old argument AGAINST overturning the old Friday tariffs. But the key thing the Court actually did was give his cult a mortal shock. It is the first official body to give the Trump-Town Guyana Death Cult the message: that he is making this crap up, as he goes ALONG. -- Plus: an actual good idea from Boris Johnson: to send peacekeepers to Ukraine – NOW. And I’M the guy who thinks the Hockey Gold Medal is a BAD THING. And no, the John Barron who called into C-SPAN wasn’t Trump – he was too coherent. B-Block (40:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Mark Zuckerberg manages to lose a lawsuit before the trial starts, Kid Rock proves he's not charging $5000 for front row tickets by confessing he IS charging $5000 for front row tickets, and Stephen Miller's wife has another one of those Freudian slips that may be desperate pleas for help from inside a bad situation. C-Block (50:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Baseball has already started so time for my annual explanation: why I don't work for baseball's TV network even though they offered me my own show and I accepted it. It has to do with a big league club threatening them if they didn't renege.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
