In this episode I sit down with Brett Gilliland, founder and CEO of Elite Entrepreneurs, who has spent the last fourteen years helping business owners make the leap from hustler to real CEO. We dig into why so many founders get stuck right before the ten million dollar mark, and why it almost always comes down to control. Brett walks me through the four systems his company teaches to build a business that doesn't depend on the founder for everything, what a CEO's real job becomes once a leadership team is in place, and how to know when you're still holding onto something you should have let go of months ago. We also get personal, talking about the daily disciplines that keep us both grounded, including his fourteen "I am" statements that he's repeated every single morning for over a decade, and why taking care of yourself first isn't selfish, it's what makes you capable of showing up for everyone else. If you've built something real but feel like you're the bottleneck holding it back, this conversation is for you. Topics Covered Why founders need to change in order to grow their business Letting go of control as a business owner The difference between a hustler and a real CEO What changes once a business hits $10 million Building a full leadership team The CEO's real job: vision, team, resources The four systems Elite Entrepreneurs teaches to scale a business Why founders unknowingly sabotage their own growth Daily disciplines and morning routines Putting yourself first to show up better for others About Brett Gilliland: Brett Gilliland is the founder and CEO of Elite Entrepreneurs, a company that gives seven figure business owners the knowledge, systems, and coaching to grow to ten million dollars and beyond. For over a decade, Brett helped lead Infusionsoft's growth from seven million to more than one hundred million dollars in revenue, where he was involved in building the company's Purpose, Values, and Mission, co-created the Elite Forum, and served as VP of Leadership Development. He has spent fourteen-plus years coaching founders and executives on how to move from hands-on hustler to confident, capable CEO. On Today's Show: MLB All-Star Post-Mortem: The American League absolutely put the handcuffs on the National League last night in Philly, grinding out a clinical 4-0 shutout. World Cup Semifinal Part II: Yesterday, Spain put on a absolute clinic to punch their ticket to the World Cup Final. From major shifts in the Canadian gridiron markets to global soccer drama and a chaotic, high-stakes night in the desert, the boys are breaking down the film, hunting for pure market value, and setting up your betting cards for a massive Monday night. On Today's Show: CFL Week 6 Market Report: A pivotal week of Canadian football is officially in the books, and the lines are on the move. With France set to battle Spain tomorrow and Argentina locking horns with England on Wednesday, Matty and Hustler analyze the updated futures market. Who is the true smart-money play to lift the trophy, and which powerhouse is standing on shaky ground? UFC 329 Post-Mortem: Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was a certified sportsbooks nightmare and a total circus. Conor McGregor's highly anticipated return evaporated just 69 seconds into the fight due to a freak knee injury against Max Holloway, turning the main card on its head. The boys react to the fallout, look at Paddy Pimblett's lightning-fast first-round cash, and evaluate the carnage. Home Run Derby Sharp Picks: The ultimate power spectacle takes over Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia tonight, and the betting board is loaded with intrigue. With a brand-new, time-free rule system locking batters into a strict 20-swing limit, strategy is everything. Can hometown favourite Kyle Schwarber crush the field? Is Bryce Harper the ultimate narrative value bet? Or is there a massive young longshot like Junior Caminero or Jac Caglianone waiting to bust the brackets? The Lock Shop is presented by Play Alberta!
In this raw, unfiltered conversation, 19 Keys and Red Pill reveal they discussed OpenAI seven years ago with Idris Sandu before anyone knew what it was—and break down why most people are already too late. They expose the "100 Monkey Theory" strategy: instead of working alone, 100 people using AI simultaneously can generate 2.1 million digital assets and hit the 5% coherence threshold needed to shift an entire culture's trajectory. The conversation dives deep into why using public AI platforms like ChatGPT is equivalent to "asking the British Empire for sovereignty," advocating instead for local AI models that can't be manipulated by corporations or governments. They introduce PREEM—"Platforms Rule Everything Around Me"—explaining why infrastructure around your influence now matters more than going viral. The duo reflects on how Nipsey Hussle's unrealized Bitcoin vision would have made millions crypto-rich during the pandemic, and why his death represented a stolen future for hood tech and financial sovereignty.19 Keys and Red Pill dissect "atomization," the hyper-individualism that capitalism weaponizes to keep people isolated, broke, and distracted—dollar-cost-averaging at clubs instead of building collective wealth. They discuss China's quantum computers connecting to CERN, the shift from creators as individuals to creators as institutions, and why speed and coordination are becoming the ultimate assets in a world where AI can build physical technology faster than humans. The verdict is clear: the quantum quickening is here, and those without infrastructure, trust, community ownership, and AI fluency are being left behind while asking basic questions everyone else answered years ago.Instagram: 19_keysSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/19keys/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The bats are cold, the pitching depth is being stretched to its absolute limit, and fans across the country are left asking one simple question: Is there any universe where this team snaps out of this coma, or is it time to start selling off assets? The Money Player: The Confessions of America's Greatest Table Tennis Champion and Hustler by Marty Reisman (1974)
The whiteboard is completely dripping with cash, and the daily board has never looked more chaotic! Welcome inside a massive, week-opening Monday edition of The Lock Shop, streaming live on Edmonton Sports Talk. The band is officially back together! Dusty has returned from his brief hiatus to reclaim his spot at the main desk alongside Andrew "The Hustler" Paterson. The boys have a mountain of weekend action to sort through, ranging from heartbreak on the international soccer pitch to an absolute roster nuke that completely paralyzed the hockey world on Friday afternoon. On Today's Show: The Morocco Meltdown: The guys don't sugarcoat the opening topic. Team Canada's spectacular, inspiring run on the international soccer pitch came to a grinding, emotional halt over the weekend. A tough 3-0 clean sheet loss to Morocco officially eliminated the red and white. It absolutely sucked to watch, but Dusty and the Hustler break down why the broader future of this men's program remains incredibly bright. CFL Week 5 Wrap-Up & Elks Fall: The local football wheel finally slowed down, and the Green and Gold have tasted defeat for the first time this season. The undefeated Edmonton Elks dropped a 36-24 nail-biter out west against the BC Lions at Touchdown Kelowna. Dusty dives deep into the tape to track the costly turnovers, while the fellas review the entire Week 5 betting board to see who covered and where the lines are shifting for Week 6. The NHL Nuclear Bomb — Leo Carlsson Offer Sheeted!: Friday afternoon is usually a quiet time in the hockey world—unless Daniel Briere is your general manager. In a move that completely shattered the NHL landscape, the Philadelphia Flyers tendered a mind-boggling, record-breaking five-year, $90 million offer sheet to Anaheim Ducks' 21-year-old franchise center Leo Carlsson. At an $18 million average annual value, it immediately makes him the highest-paid player in hockey history. The boys weigh the absolute panic: Will Pat Verbeek and the Ducks match this poison-pill deal? Or do they let their star center go to Philly and walk away with four first-round draft picks? Most importantly, how does this completely break the market for upcoming RFA mega-stars like Connor Bedard? The Lock Shop is presented by Play Alberta!
In this episode we return to Oregon to continue the story of CREW (Connecting Resources to Empower Women) and meet Client Services Specialist Kyle Black. Once incarcerated herself for almost three decades at Coffee Creek Correctional, Kyle now spends her days driving newly released women, from the same prison, to probation appointments, safe housing, treatment programs, and the first chapter of a new life. But these aren't simply rides; they are conversations filled with fear, hope, shame, courage, grief, and possibility. Kyle speaks candidly about the tragic events that led to her incarceration, the decades she spent in prison, rebuilding a relationship with her daughter, and why every woman deserves to leave prison knowing someone believes in her future. Because sometimes the shortest journey becomes the one that changes everything.

The guys are dedicating a massive chunk of today's broadcast to filtering through the financial fallout, grading the major transactions, and finding the hidden betting value left on the board. On Today's Show: The Great Free Agency Post-Mortem: Day one of the open market did not disappoint. Matty gets The Hustler's raw, unfiltered perspective on the frantic spending spree that just swept across the league. They analyze the Winnipeg Jets' tactical adjustments, evaluate Stan Bowman's aggressive restructuring of the Edmonton Oilers roster, and debate which franchises actually landed the biggest, most impactful fish on the board. CFL Week 5 Kickoff — Argos vs. Stampeders: Once the hockey notebook is clean, the fellas shift gears to the gridiron to tee up tonight's high-stakes matchup in Calgary. In the annals of American history there is one speech delivered in 1852, by a former slave, that stood at the precipice of what today, we call social justice. This week on The Hustler Files Dr. LaToya Bosworth of Mass Humanities explores the enduring legacy of Frederick Douglass and the Massachusetts statewide initiative, Reading Frederick Douglass Together. His speech “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July” still resonates around the world, and each year in Massachusetts, from public parks to correctional facilities, communities gather to read Douglass's powerful words aloud, discovering that his message about freedom, justice, humanity, and hope, the building blocks of social justice, remains as relevant today as ever. In honor of America's 250th Anniversary, Dr. Bosworth discusses storytelling, historical memory, invisible barriers, community healing, and why understanding our shared past may be one of the most important ways to shape our future. Because some stories aren't just history, they're still changing lives.
What happens when one mistake follows you for the rest of your life? Dr. Sheena Meade, CEO of the Clean Slate Initiative, calls it ‘invisible cages' and for her it was 2004 and an $87 bounced check that led to her arrest. Despite making restitution, that arrest still appears on her record, today, and has created a lifelong lesson about second chances, collateral consequences, and turning her pain into purpose. These barriers are not lost on Sheena as there are millions of Americans still in invisible cages, even long after they've paid their debt to society. It was Sheena's personal journey that led her to becoming one of the nation's leading voices for automatic record clearance, criminal justice reform, the importance of owning your narrative, and how it is possible to emerge from life's most difficult moments. This is a conversation about resilience, redemption, freedom, and what it truly means to live your legacy out loud.
At Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Oregon, there's a simple belief: no woman should walk alone. This week we're speaking with prison scholar, educator, researcher, advocate and Safe Ride creator, Dr. Taryn VanderPyl. For more than a decade, Taryn has worked alongside incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, listening to their experiences and helping amplify voices too often left out of conversations about justice and rehabilitation. The discussion explores the surprising role of prison Lifers Clubs, the power of peer accountability, and the creation of the Transformative Justice Community (TJC). Taryn shares how a group of incarcerated women helped design CREW, an innovative reentry initiative focused on trauma recovery, safe transportation, housing support, and protecting vulnerable women from exploitation and trafficking upon release. The conversation also examines post-incarceration syndrome, the emotional realities of reentry, the importance of community, and why those with lived experience are often best equipped to guide others through the journey home. This episode is a powerful look at healing, accountability, second chances, and the women working to ensure that no one leaves prison alone.

Angel "Julito" Diaz grew up on Creston Avenue in the North Bronx — the youngest of six kids, watching his mother run the block before he ever touched a drug. By the time he was 12 he was selling crack after school. By the time he was a young man he was running his own operation — hundreds of pounds of their signature Mango Piña weed a week — eventually becoming the shot caller of the infamous Creston Avenue Crew whose takedown became one of the most notorious drug cases in Bronx history. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Julito tells the complete story — the story that Reggaeton star De La Ghetto portrayed on Netflix's El Ganador. Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee were part of his Bronx operation before they were famous. He opens up about the betrayal from his own childhood friend who put out a murder contract on his life, the robbery case that sent him to state prison, and the federal case that gave him 17 years total. When 22 people around him cooperated with the government — Angel kept his mouth shut. He served 11 years and never snitched on anyone. _____________________________________________ #prisonlife #BronxStory #TrueCrime _____________________________________________ Thank You To CASH APP & RAYCON For Sponsoring This Episode: Cash App: Download Cash App Today: https://click.cash.app/ui6m/6pao71et #CashAppPod Cash App is a financial services platform, not a bank. ONE QUESTION, MANY ANSWERS For more than three plus seasons, every episode of The Hustler Files has ended with the same question: "At this moment in your life, what do you believe is your life assignment?" The answers have been inspiring, surprising, deeply personal, and often transformative. In this special compilation episode, we revisit some memorable responses from guests across The Hustler Files universe, so many individuals whose journeys have been shaped by incarceration, redemption, second chances, public service, advocacy, leadership, faith, resilience, and personal growth. It is in these reflections that we are reminded that purpose is rarely a destination. Purpose evolves as we learn, heal, serve, and discover new ways to impact the lives of others. Whether you're searching for direction, navigating change, or simply curious about the paths that shape us, every Hustler Files episode offers a glimpse into the wisdom, humanity, and hope that has become our shows' hallmark. Because sometimes the most important question isn't what you've done, it's what you're here to do next.

What happens when the justice system gets it wrong? For Sean Ellis of Boston, he served 22 years for the murder of a Boston police detective, a crime he didn't commit. After two hung juries and a third conviction, Sean faced the reality of dying behind bars while fighting to uncover evidence that had been withheld for decades. Sean shares the devastating impact of wrongful conviction, the challenges of rebuilding a life after exoneration, and the emotional toll of losing years to a system that failed him. He also discusses his work, now, as Director of the Exoneree Network at the New England Innocence Project, supporting individuals and families navigating the trauma of wrongful incarceration and reentry. This conversation explores justice, resilience, accountability, healing, and what it takes to ensure that the truth is never buried forever.

I'm breaking down the hustler procrastination profile from my new book, Procrastination Proof. You put together IKEA furniture without looking at the instructions. But here's your trap: you can end up in the wrong city, or even the wrong state, because you were going 100mph without checking the GPS. You're the king of hustle but the jester of progress. Production without direction is just expensive busy work. https://mylifeentertainment.net/SpotifyYoutubeInstagramBioML Underwood makes an unforgettable entrance in the opening moments of his “Still I Rise” music video, stepping out of a pristine white Rolls Royce in front of the crumbling ruins of City Church in Gary, Indiana. Dressed in a sleek black designer jacket, shades, and silver jewelry, he walks into a space marked by decay and history. The contrast says everything. Surrounded by broken walls and pain, Underwood represents resilience, strength, and transformation. The message of “Still I Rise” is rooted in reality. It speaks to chaos, struggle, and survival, while offering hope to those searching for a way out. Underwood's lyrics reflect a deep responsibility to his community, uplifting the downtrodden, the misunderstood, and those on the edge of losing their way. His message is clear: lead by example, choose growth, and rise above circumstances. That authenticity is resonating. Listeners have called the track uplifting, powerful, and even a new anthem. The song's impact is backed by real success, with strong radio rotation on Chicago's 92.3, millions of YouTube views, viral traction on TikTok, and a number one spot on the global iTunes chart. With a growing Spotify audience, Underwood's reach continues to expand across platforms and generations. At the heart of the track is collaboration and intention. “Still I Rise” features Danny Boy, the iconic voice known for his work with Death Row Records and artists like 2Pac. His soulful contribution elevates the record, giving it a timeless, classic feel. Underwood spent over a year crafting the song, carefully shaping its message through meditation, lived experience, and collaboration with longtime creative partners including Damon Jones, Grammy winning producer Tone Jonez, and family input that helped shape the melodic direction.Recorded in Chicago at Pressure Point Recording Studio, the track blends the essence of 90s hip hop with a modern voice grounded in truth. Underwood's music is not fabricated. Every lyric reflects real life, loss, survival, and perspective gained over his 27 year journey in the industry. His roots run deep in Gary, Indiana, a city rich with musical legacy. Named after Marlon Jackson, Underwood's connection to music began early. In the 1980s, he was part of Le Boiz, the first rap group from Gary signed to a label. Over the years, he expanded his influence as a promoter across music and boxing before returning to his own artistry with a renewed purpose.Today, ML Underwood stands as more than an artist. He is a voice of experience, a symbol of perseverance, and a beacon for those trying to find light in dark places. His story, like his music, is about getting back up no matter what life throws your way. As he puts it, life will hit you, but the key is you do not stay down. You rise.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

**Clay Edwards Show – Storm Aftermath Scams: Fake “Entergy Safety Team” Hustlers Exposed** Jamie Creel of Shelter Insurance breaks down the devastation from the recent South Mississippi tornadoes in Lincoln County and Bogue Chitto, then goes straight into the scams already popping up in the aftermath. While his team was on-site at 6:30 a.m. blacking in a customer's half-destroyed house and clearing debris to prevent further rain damage, a guy rolls up in a truck with a skid steer wearing a bright orange “Entergy Safety Team” shirt. He offers to clean everything up fast… until Jamie asks if he actually works for Entergy. The guy admits he doesn't. Jamie warns listeners loud and clear: right after a major storm, hustlers and scammers swarm in pretending to be utility workers or offering immediate cleanup and repairs. They prey on families at their most vulnerable. His advice — call your actual insurance agent first, know exactly what your policy covers, and be extremely wary of anyone showing up uninvited in official-looking gear trying to pressure you into quick work. Unfiltered, no sugar added reality radio at its finest.

Today, we're digging into what procrastination really looks like. Not the obvious kind where you're scrolling instead of working, but the sneaky version that hides inside your productivity. The kind that shows up even when your calendar is full, and you're checking all the boxes. Jon breaks down why the thing you keep almost starting is costing you more than you think and how to finally stop circling it and actually move forward. I'm sharing what this looks like in my own life, too, because wow… it hits close to home. If you've ever thought, “Why can't I just start the thing?” This episode is your new favorite. It's packed with clarity, encouragement, and practical tools to help you communicate with yourself (and others) in a healthier way. You may want to listen twice. Today I'm joined by Jon Acuff, a New York Times bestselling author who has spent years studying why so many of us procrastinate and how to finally get out of our own way. We talk about the real reasons people stall out—fear, rejection, imposter syndrome, perfectionism—and how comparison, when used correctly, can actually become a source of inspiration rather than insecurity. Jon also shares practical frameworks for focusing on effort instead of obsessing over outcomes, creating your own personal scorecard for success, and adopting a "let's find out" mentality when it comes to pursuing goals and navigating uncertainty. If you've ever felt stuck between what you say you want and what you're actually doing, this conversation will give you some tools to start closing that gap.
