Ele abriu as portas, literalmente", comemora.

The expedition finds an Ancient in stasis deep in the city. Or is she? Indeed not! Elizabeth Weir has traveled back in time and, with the help of an actual Ancient, has corrected the problems that led to the catastrophic failure of the first Atlantis mission in Before I Sleep. The old age make-up done to age Torri is reall, really well done. There's a few things this episode does that are really interesting: it uses time travel to help explain some of the “It's TV! Of course it all worked out!” things from previous episodes; it shows us that the timeline we're watching as viewers was not the prime timeline, which it usually is. There might be an issue with the overall Stargate timeline as the evacuation of Atlantis back to Earth is happening at roughly the same time Ra discovers Earth and starts kidnapping people to make them slaves. How close in time did those two events actually happen? The Stargate Master Timeline: https://www.gateworld.net/wiki/Timeline And, of course, we hear from Wagner and how accurate the time travel and Rodney's comments on it are in this episode. Or does being controlling serve a genuinely functional purpose? Learn more (and laugh about it all) with Torri and Daffnee in this episode.

“Don't chase symptoms, optimize systems.” - Dr. Jessica DrummondFor over ten years, Federica Torri dealt with chronic GI symptoms and sometimes debilitating period pain without any answers about why it was happening. Finally, in late 2023, she received excision surgery and an endometriosis diagnosis. Since then, things have improved, but Federica still isn't where she wants to be in terms of her vision for her health. In today's episode, Federica shares her story as a case study to help you learn how we navigate complex chronic illnesses such as endometriosis through the health coaching lens. As part of her health team, you'll see how we integrate her multidisciplinary practitioners and her day-to-day health behaviors to help her live healthfully with complex chronic illness while recovering from complex surgery. As you listen, look out for how I break down our seven-step system for working with any women's health, chronic or acute illnesses, not just giving them a list of things to do to get well, but helping them integrate these tools in a way that makes sense for their life, vision, and values. When your clients leave their appointment with you, the most important thing is that they feel like they are on the path to living their vision. Healing and living with complex chronic illness is a long-term experience, so clients will always have this underlying vulnerability. Our goal is to fit into their lives, what it means to be healthy at this moment, and how that can continue to expand. I hope that this episode will inform your practice and get you thinking in a coaching mindset, even if you're working in a clinical setting. If you would like to apply to be a guest case study on a future episode of the podcast, please send an email to support@integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com and include the subject line “Application to be a case study on your podcast.”Enjoy the episode, and let's innovate and integrate together!Learn more or watch the video version of this conversation at https://integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com/case-study-endometriosis-with-federica-torri-and-dr-jessica-drummond/.Connect with me and access our entire platform at IntegrativeWomensHealthInstitute.com (https://integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com/). The Opportunist and the Last of His Kind. In the Late Bronze Age, there were few kingdoms as mighty as Hatti. Their Great Kings, like SUPPILULIUMA and KURUNTA, were a significant force in Anatolia and the Near East. But around 1200 BCE, their royal house was divided. And the Hittites suffered greatly in the Late Bronze Age Collapse. That a creaky stair or a creaky bed? Only one way to find out! Time to bust open the doors on "Jinxed" by Torri Heat. Savannah thinks she's gotten the deal of a lifetime when she buys an abandoned house to open a thrift store. And, indeed, she gets far more than knick-knacks. She gets three hunky...well, not ghosts. But like, frozen-in-time-via-a-curse fellas? I guess you would say? Can these three radically different dudes from different historic eras put their differences aside so they can gang make-love-to Savannah? AND break the curse? Sure hope so.. Can a book be conscientious and lean on stereotypes for storytelling? What would a "porn book" be and does it matter? Don't you want your boyfriends to kiss? This one may not be spooky, but it certainly has some twists.

We talked with American Record holder Torri about her preparations, performances, and post-meet reflections from the 2023 World Championships. Although she wasn't happy with the way she swam at Worlds, she doesn't believe that one bad meet defines who she is as a swimmer (a sentiment that was also echoed by her coach, Greg Meehan) and is even more motivated headed into the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. She believes that Worlds is a learning experience for her, and looks forward to her upcoming Olympic redshirt year. As I said to her on camera, I really appreciate Huske's willingness to be interviewed about performances that she wasn't satisfied with—she gave really good insight about a difficult subject.
