POPULARITY
The dice have stopped rolling, but Anime Was (Not) A Mistake has more dungeons and delicacies to explore. Immediately back by popular demand, Delicious in Dungeon resumes with Laios and his friends searching for an exit. A tense meeting with the warrior Shuro forces the party to reevaluate their ultimate goal. Falin has been transformed into a terrifying monster by the Mad Mage, and Laios cannot risk the Island Lord going after her. Defeating the Mad Mage himself may be the only option that remains, but are our heroes really the best party for the job? Continuing the trend of pairing Delicious in Dungeon with a special side dish, we'll briefly step into the colorful (and flavorful) world of Toriko. While the Gourmet Hunter Toriko is beefy enough on his own…we advise leaving room for a THIRD course of shonen action. Please make sure that your Barbecue Pig keeps its cool during today's sweet, spicy, and salty installment of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake! Our journey through realms inspired by tabletop RPGs continues with another Delicious in Dungeon and Record of Lodoss War combo episode. In the Mad Mage's Dungeon, Laios and his party must traverse the watery Fourth Level while learning a few (harsh) lessons from the dungeon's ecosystem. Then, a surprise encounter with an Undine leaves Marcille drained of her mana. With the help of an old teammate, the party will have to craft an energizing brew if they want their mage to continue. On the island of Lodoss, the arrival of King Kashue in Valis gives Parn the inspiration he needs to become a great knight. While the party gets to enjoy a few fleeting moments of peace, Karla the Grey Witch continues to scheme in the shadows. Emperor Beld begins his destructive advance into Valis, with King Fahn standing ready to face his old nemesis in battle. Make sure to pack plenty of Kelpie liver and a set of loaded dice for today's iron-rich installment of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake! All seems well with the Touden party this time on WSP... for about 15 seconds until the Mad Mage appears and it all gets noticeably worse. The dragon was never the end. We all knew.
GC13, Soren, and David discuss the thirteenth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Red Dragon 3 and Good Medicine. And here we are: the second half of the season sees the rug pulled out from under our heroes as we're properly introduced to the Mad Mage. As you might imagine, he's not very popular 'round these … Continue reading

Merry Christmas ya filthy goblins! That's what they say in Home Alone, right? Maybe it was Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Or maybe Home Alone 3, no descriptive subtitle needed. Just Home Alone 3. And noooo further Home Alone movies were made. None at all. At least that's how the Home Alone universe lives in MY head. Man, Joe Pesci being a villian is crazy right? I really knew him for his work in My Cousin Vinny. Underrated movie i say! ........ANYWAY what's happening in this show you may ask? Who knows really. My brains tuned out for the holidays. And since we had a 3 part christmas episode last year, we decided to save you on this one and stick to the plot. Wherever the plot is. Oh yeah! We last left our adventurers with Alissa alone on the other side of the magic runes and Mike and Andrew singing about themselves. Sounds about right. Will our adventurers find each other again? What other mysteries will they find in this strange lair? Who is the Mad Mage???? Don't change that dial, it's time for DUNGEEOONNNN RRAADDDIOOOOOO HOOOOUURRRRR::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::THIS SHOW IS NSFW AND NSFK (Not safe for kids. sorry kids!)Our DM is Dalton Rusher-RiddleOur Players are Andrew Gehrlein, Michael Adair & Alissa AdairTheme song by Dustin HookSound effects from Zapsplat and PixabayBackground music by Pixabay and Nerdius MaximusPlease check out our Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, AND NOW PATREON on our linktree to keep up with the latest DRH news! https://linktr.ee/dungeonradiohourBye for now~::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Support the show
Saul was thinking about running an Urban FRPG in the near future and looked to see what kind of materials where available for running an Urban Campaign. A campaign in that takes place entirely in a city. He talked to Jolene about it. She was intrigued by the concept and went off to find what she could on the subject. Saul remembered a Physical Geography class from Jr. College that discussed where and why cites sprouted in certain areas. Also how cites are constructed when planned or not, how they are populated and groups that form inside a city. Saul and Jolene also discuss that most RPG campaign of different genres usually take place in urban settings. They discuss the various games they played and play where the primary location is the big city. Thank you all for listening Web Art by Jim Foster Episode Art by Micheal Shean-Jones The two Waterdeep books that Saul was trying to remember were Dungeon of the Mad Mage and Dragon Heist. Welcome to Everyday Dungeon Master! Our guest Dungeon Master today is Jonathan! In today's episode we talk about one of the most important, and often overlooked parts of the game, the character backstory! We talk through tips on how to incorporate player backstories, and suggestions for players and DMs for when they are crafting, creating and using player backstories! I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did, stay tuned for a show blooper at the end! Today's Monster Spotlight segment is another Monster v. Monster matchup, where we pit the ferocious and oddly immune Trobriand (no viable link, you can find him in Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage) vs. the gruesomely beautiful Belashyrra. Go follow us on Twitter @EverydayDMPod to vote in this week's poll on who would win between these two gruesome beasties! Go check out the free software called Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator for some awesome free world building tools! As mentioned in the episode, Jonathan is an internationally published photographer, he does amazing work and so I encourage you all to go over to his Instagram and check out his portfolio and hire him if you have photography needs! He also does graphic design and would love to connect and network with you in the D&D community, you can find him @jndesign4u With that, I hope you enjoy today's episode.
