Welcome back to Escaping Reality! We're loving our summer show: Stars on Mars. But love is a complicated feeling...so, naturally we have a lot of critiques too. It's a silly show, so it's all in good fun. In this episode we continue to suggest (what we think are) better alternatives to the show's structure and stakes. Spoiler alert: the stakes are still ZERO. We discuss the player (yes, player, singular) that we think will win it all in the end. And, of course, we have a good old laugh about the nonsensical, yet sometimes highly intense challenges. PLUS, bonus, we spend about 20 minutes after the real conversation talking about our current thoughts on concerts - it's a good time. You really should stick around and listen (if you're a Jonas Brothers fan). You can watch Stars on Mars on Fox every Monday through the Summer, or next day on Hulu. & let us know if you're watching so we can know that SOMEONE out there is also watching. Be sure to give us a follow on Instagram @EscapingRealityPod and on Twitter @EscRealityPod --  If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe & leave us a rating/review on Apple Podcasts and/or Spotify! C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked about Jerry vacationing in Texas which is confusing to Gio. And McMonigle is going to Florida this month. C-Lo has audio from Cohen before the game. He didn't like the Mets' ‘crummy' odds to make the playoffs. He also said, ‘hope's not a strategy'. The Yankees beat the Rays 7-2 behind solid offense from Anthony Volpe and Giancarlo Stanton. Domingo German is entering an alcohol rehab problem and is done for the season. The Jets play the Browns tonight in an early pre-season game.
