Everyone is trying to "manifest" their dream life, but few realize they are playing with a dangerous, satanic inversion of the truth. While the spiritual mechanisms behind manifestation are real, using them to shape reality to your own will is a Faustian bargain. In this message, we uncover why the New Age "Law of Attraction" fails and how to move into the authentic power of Biblical Meditation. The Truth: The Enemy wants you to believe you are the source of your own reality. But true "manifestation" isn't about getting what you want—it's about conceiving what God has already said into your physical experience. It is the difference between having the medicine in the cabinet and actually getting it into your bloodstream. In this message, we dive into: The Satanic Inversion: Why the New Age hijacks universal spiritual laws and the price you pay for using them outside of God's authority. The Mechanics of the Spirit: How "Hagah" (Biblical Meditation) moves the Word from your head to your heart. Holy Imagination vs. Fantasy: Using "Hope" as a spiritual blueprint to see your promise before it arrives. Identity Shift: Why God called Gideon a "Mighty Man of Valor" while he was still hiding in a winepress (Judges 6). The Abraham Method: Learning to "call those things which be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17). Scripture References: Joshua 1:8 – The key to true prosperity and success. Romans 12:2 – Do not be conformed to this world (or its customs), but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Isaiah 26:3 – Keeping your mind stayed on Him for perfect peace. Romans 4:17 – Calling into existence the promises God has already spoken. Proverbs 4:20-22 – God's Word as life and health (medicine) to all our flesh. When the "day of adversity" comes and your boat feels like it's sinking, a "vibration" won't save you. Only the Word of God hidden in your heart will give you the victory.
“And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.” (Judges 6:12) Gideon was not a very promising leader to all outward appearances... More...

This week Kyle returns to discuss Gideon with Joseph in the last of the Flawed Heroes series.
By Darrin Keith - When everything isn't right with ourselves or perhaps leadership how do we respond? Will we respond like a mighty man of God?
The words of the angel of the Lord unto Gideon affirmed God’s choice to deliver Israel, but also a great account from scripture that answers many questions of doubt today.

Joe Miriello teaches through the first part of the story of Gideon in Judges 6. Israel's repeated cycles of sin and sin's consequences speak a loud warning to us who are prone to drift away from the Lord. We can also find great comfort and encouragement in God's faithful mercies and faithfulness. As with Gideon, he can and will use us even when we are filled with fear, doubt, and discouragement.
A Mighty Man • 6-15-25 AM • Pastor Grant Garber
Have you ever felt insecure in your walk with the Lord? Have you felt weak? Have you ever felt far from God? Pastor Dwayne takes us on a Father's Day journey on how God called Gideon who was from a small tribe, and least in his family, to lead Israel. All you have to do is answer the call.
When it was time for Gideon to lead his army into battle against the Midianites, the Lord pared his forces down from 32,000 men to just 300! The Lord can save by many or by few and wants our trust to be in Him and Him alone, as Pastor Cameron shares today.
David speaks his last will and testament, prophetically looking ahead to his Son, Jesus—the faithful and righteous King who will reign over His people forever, defeating all enemies. Reflecting on David's own reign, the names and exploits of his mighty men are recorded. Their strength came from the Lord, who granted great victories through them for His people. These mighty deeds foreshadow the even greater works of Christ our Lord, who has saved us from our enemies. Rev. Ryan Ogrodowicz, pastor at Grace Lutheran Church and School in Brenham, TX, joins host Rev. Timothy Appel to study 2 Samuel 23:1-39. "A Kingdom Unlike All the Nations” is a series on Sharper Iron that goes through 1-2 Samuel. This time in Israel's history has its highs and lows, but the LORD's faithfulness never wavers. He provides His Word to be proclaimed faithfully through prophets like Samuel and Nathan. Even as princes like Saul and David sit on an earthly throne, the LORD remains King over His people, even as He does now and forever through the Lord Jesus Christ. Sharper Iron, hosted by Rev. Timothy Appel, looks at the text of Holy Scripture both in its broad context and its narrow detail, all for the sake of proclaiming Christ crucified and risen for sinners. Two pastors engage with God's Word to sharpen not only their own faith and knowledge, but the faith and knowledge of all who listen. Submit comments or questions to: listener@kfuo.org

église AB Lausanne ; KJV 2 Kings (4 Kings) 5 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife. And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel. And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment. And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy. And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me. And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel. So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. ...

Judges 6 “Mighty Man of Valor” 1. The Midianites oppress Israel (v.1-10) 2. The Angel of the Lord visits (v.11-32) 3. The fleece testing of Gideon (v.33-40)
Judges 6:7-24 When circumstances sink so miserably low, we grow accustomed to it and can't see how things can ever change. WE FORGET!!! Every revival has begun from the place of low ebbs!! Moses didn't come on a fluffy cloud with a bolt of lightning to deliver Israel. Where did God find him? In a place of low ebb, his people were oppressed and enslaved by the Egyptians! In the days of Gideon, it was the same. The Midianites were instruments of humility to turn the hearts of His wayward people back to Him. When Israel cried out to God, God raised up a deliverer! From whence did God find this man? In the palaces of power and influence? On the contrary; God found His instrument of revival by the winepress, threshing a handful of wheat and hiding in fear. Men love to look on the outward appearance, but have yet to look where God's eyes are found – on the heart! This sermon is an encouragement for believers. It matters not how incapable you may feel you are. God has a work for you to do in His power!
Judges 6:1-12 When a generation loses touch with God and the favour of the Lord is taken away, the next generation coming after will have to start all over again! I don't know if you've ever had the experience of demolishing a wall. I'm no builder, but I know for sure that it took whoever built the wall a whole lot longer to build it than it did for the person smashing it down. My dear people, look around and see; you don't need me to tell you that we are living in days of great spiritual declension. This land of ours that once enjoyed regular seasons of refreshing and harvest blessing has for some time now been crippled in the grip of a dearth. As we begin this series, looking at the life of Gideon, we begin with the sin of God's people and His remedial judgements. What was true in the days of Israel, is true in our day. This is a call for the Church to seek the face of God in humility, prayer, and repentance if perhaps the Lord might turn His face again towards His people.

In this episode, Matt peels back the curtain on real life. And how everyone, you included, is meant to do great things. No one is any more gifted or any more equipped than any other. In Judges 6, we get introduced to Judge number five. Gideon tests God, do you?
Biblical masculinity is blueprinted for us in the Bible. In this incredible message, Ps. Matt speaks into how men need to lead in their home.
We talk about how God used Gideon to do something unthinkable. It took God to win.
To be the mighty man God wants you to be is a high calling and great responsibility. Study after study shows that when a father is present and engaged, women and marriages flourish, kids excel and communities rise. In this sermon, we look at King David, who was the greatest king Israel ever had. And, one of the reasons David's kingdom was established and sustained is because David was surrounded by some “Mighty Men” — men who were loyal, courageous, and servant-hearted.

The Savage Dragon [vol 1] #1 (1992)We don't get around to messing with too many Image Comics but Savage Dragon is a great place to start. Outlandish in story and execution, the mighty Erik Larsen gives us a lot to talk about. For example, why does Savage Dragon have so much body hair despite being a reptilian? Is he of Mediterranean descent? Will the hair removal product Nair do the trick? Regardless, this series is wild, filled with chrome skeletons, hilariously timed explosion deaths and one of the most inefficient costume designs of all time.Promo from COUNCIL OF GEEKS (https://councilofgeeks.libsyn.com/)Continue the conversation with Shawn and Jen on Twitter (X) @angryheroshawn and @JenStansfield and email the show at worstcollectionever@gmail.comAlso, get hip to all of our episodes on YouTube in its own playlist! https://bit.ly/WorstCollectionEverYTPlease rate, review, subscribe and tell a friend!
