Steve Hemphill was born and raised in the small, Central Texas town of Mason. He attended Abilene Christian University with a marketing degree in 1979. He put that talent to work by establishing and running his own technology company in the Northeast Texas area for 28 years. He built that business to 35 employees and $6 million in annual revenue before becoming the author of My Search for the Real Heaven. This book was the direct result of Steve finding a sealed envelope addressed to him in his father's safe after his dad passed away. It instructed Steve to destroy the sealed envelope without opening it. After the release of his book on heaven, Steve began traveling and speaking all over the country on heaven for. This led to a second book, My Search for Prayers Satan Hates, which is focused on spiritual warfare and the power of prayer. Steve Hemphill was born and raised in a small Texas town.  He received a Marketing Degree in 1979 and established and ran his own technology company in Northeast Texas for almost 30 years before becoming an author, speaker, and teacher. Steve's father died in 2000, which was the catalyst for Steve to write “My Search for the Real Heaven.” Steve found a sealed envelope addressed to him from his father in a safe after his dad's death. It instructed Steve to destroy the sealed envelope without opening it.
