Join us as we begin our journey through the career of our second star: Paul Newman. We'll go through Paul's entire filmography, beginning with the notoriously panned THE SILVER CHALICE, and move chronologically away from the studio system, through New Hollywood and into the Postmodern era. Each week we'll discuss a new film title or two, what it meant in the grander scheme of his career and its overall role in the Paul Newman-ography.
In Chapter sixteenth chapter of The Chronicles of Belteshazzar, Timnah wants to find Daniel and warn him of a plan Haman has to kill him. She convinces Daniel to leave Babylon and go into the Zargos Mountains to pray for King Nebuchadnezzar for ten days. In this way, he will not be present when Haman announces his plan to have everyone – even the Hebrews – bow down and worship an idol in tribute to King Nebuchadnezzar. Using the movie, The Silver Chalice, I talk about how historical Christian fiction can help young people not only learn about God's word, but become interested in learning more. Just to let you know, I've begun the process of preparing The Chronicles of Belteshazzar for publication. To learn more about this, visit https://www.wisejargon.com/chronicles
