2017 Dec Rebooting from the Deep End (Pt. 1 Taste this Love)   “The news of my passing was greatly exaggerated”. Borrowing from Oscar Wilde or (Mark Twain who knows?)   House is a Journey 2.0! The idea for the set came from looking at my podomatic stats with thousands of downloads and plays from Egypt, Turkey, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.. Bobby’s Birthday (The Soulful Funky Session)   I had some surgery done on my elbow and arm and was out for a few weeks. I eventually came back to check how my last podcast went and … lo and behold realized it had 11K+ downloads!   I must say, I am every happy about it! Permittenttrafiken, som den kom att kallas var bara en i raden av eftergifter som Sverige gjorde till Aldolf Hitlers Tyskland. Bruno Manz var en tysk korpral som färdades genom Sverige till norra Östfronten i Finland. Som andra tysktåg från Norge så stannde Brunos tåg byn Krokom i jämtland. Där stod den då 15-åriga Birgitta Granberg och bytte choklad mot cigaretter med tyska soldater genom tågfönsterna. När vapenstilleståndet inträdde i Finland 1944 hamnade Bruno Manz i Björnfjell i Norge, 40 meter från lapplandsjägaren Sten Losenborg som vaktade den svenska gränsen. Dessa tre personers vägar korsades för 70 år sedan, utan att de möttes. Nu sammanlänkas deras röster och historier i denna dokumentär, med historiska tillbakablickar av Lars Gyllenhaal och kommentarer av Staffan Thorsell och Maria-Pia Boëthius.
