I started my own business and currently run my own business. I want to share the steps of starting a business with you and hopefully help you in creating your own business.Hire a CPA. Taxes are exhausting. You do not want to have to worry about losing money in taxes. The money you pay in is well worth it.Get an LLC. This protects you as an individual. If something goes wrong, they will only be able to go after your business and not your personal assets. Find a domain that reflects your business. Use a payment processing company. Find an online website platform that works best for your needs. Have a platform to track leads. CRM is important for your communication with your clientsGo get clients. Do you have experience with starting your own business? Do you have more to add to the conversation? Drop your comments below. I would love to hear from you!
I have finished two basements now. I want to share what I have learned from these experiences with you.Get a city permit. You never know what could come back on you. You don't want to have any issues. This is time consuming. Whether you are on the phone with a contractor, getting supplies, or working in your basement on the weekend, you will spend a lot of time finishing your basement. You will save a lot of money. You will literally save thousands of dollars. It will take more time than if you hire out. When you finish your basement on your own, this is obviously not your full time job like it would be for a contractor you would hire. It can be hard to find subcontractors. Finding trustworthy contractors who want to do a small job on the side may be challenging.Have you finished your own basement? What are things you learned? Do you agree or disagree with what I have learned? Let me know in the comments!
I want to share a few things I have learned from my first rental property. Be picky with your tenants. This will make or break your experience with renting out a property.Limit the contract time. This will allow you to raise rent prices accordingly. Be a good landlord. Make sure your tenant is taken care of. If you want to have a great tenant, you need to be a great landlord.Set up automatic payments. I have found this makes things simple and I am not asking for money. This is easy money. My property is growing in value. I gain money each month. This is something I recommend to everyone. If you have something to add, let me know in the comments. I love to hear from my listeners.
How do you create a podcast? I am going to teach you step by step what to do from start to finish.Create an introduction. This will basically be taglines about your brand to let people know what content they can expect from your podcast. Choose a host. I personally love Buzzsprout. I am not paid to say that. I did my research and I prefer what they have to offer.Quality Audio. This is a necessity for a podcast. Your Audience is listening to you. The Audio has to be top notch.Solid video footage. It helps to post your podcast in video form and you are going to want to have the right equipment to make this happen.Software for recording. I personally use OBS Studio. It is a free software that does some amazing things. Watch my whole video or listen to the full podcast to learn more about what products I use and what I think works best. If you think I missed something or you have questions, go ahead and comment below.
Hey everyone! It has been a minute. I have decided to change the name of my podcast. I want to do more with this space and add more value for all of my listeners. I love online marketing and I will still be sharing tips and tricks for the online marketing world. But, you will now get some added bonus content. As my goals and life are both growing, I want to add to this podcast and have this space reflect that growth.

Facebook recently put out a major announcement for limiting Facebook ads. On today's episode of the Marketing Lyfe Podcast, we are going to discuss these changes to limiting Facebook ads. The statement below is specifically from Facebook (everyone that uses Facebook ads should have gotten this message): "Running too many ads at once can hurt performance. Generally, when a Page runs too many ads at the same time, fewer ads exit the learning phase and more budget is spent before the delivery system has optimized performance. To learn more, see Managing Ad Volume. For this reason, we're implementing a limit per Page on ads running or in review. The information below applies to when ad limits take effect starting on February 16, 2021.Viewing your ad limit per PageSince each ad's performance improves the more it is shown, advertisers of different sizes should use different ad volumes to improve ad performance. There are four ad volume tiers to encourage advertisers of different sizes to use the ad volume per Page that optimizes their performance.Advertiser SizeAd Limit Guidance:Small to medium sized Pages (advertising less than $100K in their highest spending month in the last 12 months) = 250 adsMedium to large sized Pages (advertising less than $1M in their highest spending month in the last 12 months) = 1,000 adsLarger Pages (advertising less than $10M in their highest spending month in the last 12 months) = 5,000 adsLargest Pages (advertising $10M or more in their highest spending month in the last 12 months) = 20,000 ads Advertisers of all sizes will still be able to use thousands of creatives, but ad limits ensure that advertisers use the most effective tools to do so. You can see the ad limit for each of your Pages by navigating to the Ad Limits Per Page tool accessible through the Business Manager menu. If your Page is within 20% of its limit, you can also navigate to the Ad Limits Per Page tab in Account Overview to see both your ad limit and ways to reduce your ad volume.Preparing for ad limitsFor new Pages, the ad limit will go into effect starting February 16, 2021. For existing Pages, you can see when the ad limit will go into effect by navigating to the Ad Limits Per Page tool accessible through the Business Manager menu. Adopting ad volume best practices now will enable you to see the benefits now, too – and it will eliminate disruptions when the ad limits come into effect.
