Groups of older women have been raging – nonviolently – for peace, justice, and progressive causes in general for years. They are called the Raging Grannies and have 60 chapters in the US. Many feel anxious before surgery and the road to recovery is often painful and prolonged due to the anxiety. The older one is, the more likely one is to feel worried as well.
