Hubiera sido tremendamente injusto que el Valencia perdiera ayer contra el Deportivo Alavés. Sobre todo porque, tanto en la primera parte como en la segunda, tuvo fútbol. Llegó con facilidad a tres cuartos de campo, gracias a ese trivote Guido-Guerra-Ugrinic que funciona y gracias a la movilidad y la facilidad para desbordar de Ramazani. El arreón final, con mucha gente ofensiva en el campo, premió la valentía de Corberán y el alma del Valencia, que tuvo que remontar dos veces un partido complejo. Estos seis puntos contra Osasuna y Alavés eliminan mucha angustia. Y eso ya es mucho decir a falta de once partidos estando como estaba la temporada. Ya habrá tiempo de analizar. Hoy todavía nos queda el dulce regusto de ver a Mestalla disfrutando, abrazándose bajo la lluvia, celebrando una victoria épica y muy necesaria. Ver a Mestalla así de feliz lo compensa casi todo.

A medida que nos iban poniendo repeticiones de la jugada el pasado domingo en Carrusel, la acción de Herrando tras el tiro de Ramazani nos parecía cada vez más penalti. No fuimos los únicos que lo pensamos. El Comité Técnico de Árbitros publicó ayer martes su criterio en ‘Tiempo de revisión' respecto a la jugada. Dice el CTA que el central de Osasuna “mantiene el brazo extendido, separado del cuerpo, excesivamente abierto y ocupando un espacio antinatural, interceptando el balón”. Asegura que se debió señalar penalti. Estas acciones se repiten cada vez más bajo el pretexto mal entendido que dice que si el defensor está en el suelo no puede ser mano nada de lo que haga con sus brazos. Y, como puede comprobarse, no es así. Otro ejemplo más -y ya van varios- que todos esos que dicen que los árbitros van a salvar al Valencia de bajar a Segunda no saben lo que dicen.
