    I'm joined by Glenn Braggs. Glenn Erick Braggs was born in 1962 in San Bernardino, California. A right-handed hitter, he attended the University of Hawaii and was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1983 amateur draft. Braggs quickly developed into one of Milwaukee's brightest young prospects, hitting .390 and producing an OPS of 1.189 in rookie ball. The powerful young outfielder quickly moved through the minors, hitting a robust .360 with 15 HR in only 90 games at AAA in 1986.     Im Joined by Fred McGriff! McGriff played 19 major league seasons with the Blue Jays, Padres, Braves, Devil Rays, Cubs, and Dodgers. From Tampa, Fla. he attended Thomas Jefferson High where he was cut from his high school baseball team as a sophomore – and became so determined to improve he rode his bike 20 miles to the gym to train. All that hard work paid off with a plaque in Cooperstown as he is inducted into the class of the 2023 Hall of Fame. McGriff finished his career just seven homers short of the 500 home run club, tied with Lou Gehrig for 26th all-time. He had a career .284 batting average, 2,490 hits, 441 doubles, and 1,550 RBI. He and Gary Sheffield are the only players to hit 30 home runs for five different major league teams. In 10 postseason series, he batted .303 with 10 home runs, 37 RBI, and 100 total bases. He was named to five All-Star Games, finished in the top 10 in MVP voting six times, and ranked 47th all-time in RBI with 1,550. In 2001, Wiley led the Chargers with a career-high 13 sacks and five forced fumbles. He was voted a starter for the AFC in the Pro Bowl and named Pro Football Weekly's All-AFC Team. The previous season he led the Bills with 10.5 sacks. Wiley was named one of the Top 50 players in the NFL at any position twice by Pro Football Weekly.     In this episode, I'm joined by Hoops legend Kenny Anderson, one of the country's best prospects during his time at the prestigious Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, New York. Before gracing the hardwood at Georgia Tech and later the NBA, Anderson could rack up honors that no other player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would do becoming a four-time Parade All-American. This feat had not been accomplished since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was also named to the All-City team in all four years. he was named a McDonald's All-American, Mr. Basketball for New York State, and Gatorade's High School Basketball Player of the Year After being heavily recruited, Kenny Anderson would spend two seasons with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets earning 1990 AP All-America 1990/1991 First Team All-ACC,1990 ACC Rookie of the Year he would turn pro starting his career with the New Jersey Nets who drafted him drafted 2nd overall in the 1991 NBA draft, where he put up 19 points and ten assists per game during the 1994 season, where Anderson was named to the NBA All-Star team. After the 1996 season, Anderson signed a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.     I'm joined by the Iconic Actor John Amos An imposing veteran actor of stage and screen, John Amos earned his greatest claim to fame as the hardworking but prideful James Evans, Sr. on the hit Norman Lear sitcom "Good Times" Born in Newark, NJ, he attended East Orange High School, where he graduated in 1958. Amos then enrolled at Long Beach City College, but graduated from Colorado State University, with a degree in sociology. John Amos' pre-acting life was an athletic one, he was a Golden Gloves boxing champion, and he played semi-professional football in the United States and Canada where he played for both the Canton Bulldogs and Joliet Explorers in the United Football League. He signed as a free agent with the Denver Broncos in 1964, as part of the American Football League. In 1965 and in 1966 he joined the Atlantic Coast Football League, playing for two teams.     I'm joined by the legendary player and head coach Mike Ditka . Coach Ditka was the first tight end inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame In the 1960s and early '70s he proved himself one of professional football's most extraordinary tight ends, using his talent for catching passes to revolutionize his position. Coach Ditka had a successful coaching career, the highlight of which came in 1986 when he led the Chicago Bears on an epic season as one of the greatest teams ever assembled Cap with a Super Bowl victory recording a 15-1 season. Ditka attended the University of Pittsburg where he was named first-team All-American in 1960. Ditka earned a first-round draft selection by the Bears and earned Rookie of the Year honors in 1961. In each of his first five seasons in Chicago, he was chosen for the Pro Bowl, and he helped the Bears capture the 1963 NFL championship. Ditka also played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1969–72. He caught 30 passes during the 1971 season en route to helping the Cowboys win their first Super Bowl title the following January. He retired after the 1972 season. Over the course of his playing career, Ditka made 427 receptions, gained 5,812 yards, and scored 43 touchdowns. He was drafted 53 overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2001 NFL Draft. Quincy Carter played for the Cowboys from 2001 to 2003. He played for the New York Jets from 2004 to 2005.
