A new Superstar headed down the Highway in 2025 to join the Cattery that is Bailey Smith, and yes we are talking about the Runners up, in the Geelong Football Club. Bailey Smith, while his performances on the field were magnificent, 3rd in the Brownlow medal, he made just as much noise on the field as he did off it. Whether you love them or you hate them, you got to admire the fact that you can never write the Cats off in a season. Where to now? This is the big question for the Collingwood Football Club. They went all stocks in during the trade period, they brought in Dan Houston, they brought in Harry Perryman, they opted to go for mature age players, but they weren't able being home the Premiership Flag. Dominated the first half of the season, but at the back end of the season, fell off, lost their top place on the ladder and only just scrapped into 4th place for a Top 4 finish, but went out in the Preliminary Final.
