La ligne ferroviaire du Trans-guinéen, construite dans le cadre du projet minier Simandou, est désormais achevée. Longue de 650 kilomètres, elle relie la Guinée forestière au port de Morebayah, au sud de Conakry. Pour l'heure réservée au transport du minerai de fer, elle devrait accueillir ses premiers voyageurs dès 2027, selon la Compagnie du Trans-guinéen. La Compagnie du Trans-guinéen (CTG), propriétaire et exploitante des infrastructures ferroviaires, monte progressivement en puissance. Au total, 150 locomotives et 7 000 wagons ont été commandés et sont livrés au fur et à mesure. L'objectif est d'atteindre un transport de 10 millions de tonnes de minerai de fer par mois. Mais la ligne ne sera pas exclusivement dédiée à l'activité minière. Les premiers trains de voyageurs devraient circuler dans le courant de l'année 2027, assure Barry Mamoudou Nagnalen, président du conseil d'administration de la CTG. « Nous avons des trains miniers, des trains de marchandises pour les produits miniers, mais aussi pour les produits agricoles. Il faut le savoir, le projet Simandou s'est développé dans l'une des zones agricoles les plus importantes du pays. Et c'est également pour transporter les passagers, parce que les accords prévoient la mise en service de 20 trains par semaine pour transporter les personnes et leurs biens. (...) Nous voulons que la première gare soit construite avant un an. Courant de l'année 2027, il y aura du transport de passagers. » Au total, dix gares sont prévues, de Bella à Forécariah, en passant par Mamou. La question du prix se pose également, puisque voyager en train devrait normalement être plus abordable que d'autres moyens de transport. Pour le moment, nous n'avons aucun indice permettant de savoir à quel tarif les citoyens pourront voyager. » La CTG promet de son côté des billets à des tarifs « décents et accessibles ». La compagnie assurera elle-même la gestion de la ligne, même si elle n'exclut pas de faire appel à un sous-traitant pour l'exploitation du transport. Barry Mamoudou Nagnalen assure que les recrutements sont déjà bien engagés. « Toutes les infrastructures logistiques sont gérées par la CTG, qui continue à recruter et compte aujourd'hui environ une centaine d'employés. Les sous-traitants emploient déjà près d'un millier de personnes. Nous avons commencé l'exploitation et nous ne faisons que monter en puissance. C dans l'air du 22 juin 2026 - Canicule : les premiers morts... et la crainte d'une crise sanitaireLa France suffoque au début d'une semaine de canicule historique. Quatre-vingt-neuf départements sont placés en vigilance, dont 49 en rouge aujourd'hui, particulièrement dans l'Ouest. Le gouvernement a réuni une nouvelle cellule de crise pour faire face aux fortes chaleurs : 9 Français sur 10 sont concernés par une vigilance et 35 millions de Français par une vigilance rouge. Dix personnes sont mortes noyées hier, a fait savoir la Sécurité civile. La canicule provoque un bond de « 30 % à 40 % » du nombre d'appels au 15 et de « 10 % à 20 % » des passages aux urgences qui, pour l'instant, « tiennent », a indiqué ce lundi un représentant des urgentistes, craignant une aggravation dans les prochains jours.Pendant que les températures augmentent et persistent autour des 40 °C, le thermomètre politique s'affole lui aussi. Accusé d'impréparation lors du précédent épisode caniculaire historique de la fin mai, le gouvernement multiplie depuis les prises de parole et les mesures d'urgence, comme l'interdiction de consommer de l'alcool sur la voie publique lors de la Fête de la musique dans les 35 départements placés en vigilance rouge. Mais la France apparaît globalement structurellement mal préparée à ces canicules intenses, durables et appelées à se répéter. Une chute dénoncée par Marine Tondelier, la patronne des Écologistes, qui déplore un budget « divisé par quatre en deux ans » et un plan d'adaptation « très en retard et très loin d'être financé ». Son parti a lancé une pétition pour réclamer la mise en place d'un congé climatique de cinq jours maximum par an afin de protéger notamment les travailleurs particulièrement exposés à la canicule. Cette proposition s'inspire du modèle espagnol qui, en novembre 2024, a adopté le principe d'un congé payé de quatre jours pour éviter les déplacements en cas d'alerte météorologique. Marine Tondelier a également estimé que la climatisation ne devait être « ni un tabou ni une réponse à tout », en réponse à la volonté de Marine Le Pen de mettre en place un « plan massif » de climatisation.Le pays n'est pas prêt à affronter l'avenir climatique, c'est ce que disent également une majorité de scientifiques. Mais ces derniers, ainsi que les météorologues, sont de plus en plus la cible de critiques, d'attaques et de menaces sur les réseaux sociaux. Ainsi, dans une publication postée le dimanche 15 juin sur X, le présentateur météo Guillaume Séchet mettait en garde contre les risques de canicule en France durant cette semaine de fortes chaleurs. Ciblé par des comptes climatosceptiques, il a finalement été contraint de supprimer sa publication. « Les gens m'ont accusé de catastrophisme, m'ont traité de nazi et d'autres termes violents.
