    Ivy Insights

The Wildflowers podcast is an absolute gem that I stumbled upon, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. From the moment I started listening, I felt like a part of Sophie and Daisy's conversations, as if we were all sitting in a cozy room together. This podcast has accompanied me on my hot girl walks, at the gym, and even during long drives - it truly is perfect for any occasion. Sophie and Daisy are not only real, but they also bring up thought-provoking topics that have genuinely helped me in my own life. I appreciate how they apply their relationship conversations to any type of relationship, making it applicable to everyone. My only wish is for them to release episodes every week because I just can't get enough of their authenticity.

One of the best aspects of The Wildflowers podcast is the unique yet extremely relatable perspective that Sophie and Daisy bring to the table. They openly navigate topics like sexuality, personal growth, and so much more with empathy and self-compassion. Listening to them feels like being a part of a community filled with acceptance, self-expression, and love. They create such a safe space where their listeners can relate to their stories and feel understood. It's refreshing to hear their honest opinions on navigating both sexuality and life in general amidst a world full of Instagram highlight reels. This podcast truly inspires me.

While The Wildflowers podcast has countless positive aspects, there are some areas that could be improved upon. Sometimes the pace of the conversation can feel slightly slow or drawn out, which may not suit everyone's preference for faster-paced podcasts. Additionally, there could be more variety in terms of guest appearances or different perspectives brought into the discussions to further enrich the content. However, these are minor points compared to the overall value and impact this podcast provides.

In conclusion, The Wildflowers podcast has deeply resonated with me from its first episode onwards. It addresses real-life issues head-on and offers practical advice on how to face some of life's biggest challenges. Sophie and Daisy truly have a gift for articulating their thoughts and sharing their experiences in a way that is relatable, inspiring, and applicable to listeners' lives. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone seeking personal growth, self-acceptance, and a sense of community. The Wildflowers have certainly bloomed in the podcasting world, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

In this episode, Daisy opens the conversation by reading a poem she wrote that carries the sentiment of finding love in yourself, which allows you to find love in everything and everyone around you. Those barriers include things like questioning the things we resist. Things like working out, breath work, meditation, or the sudden urge to need to leave the home, to name a few. Is it because these things require us to connect with ourselves? Often times the things we cling to (or avoid) in order to feel better, are impeding on our ability to actually feel good. We begin this episode by reflecting on our experience of having left our jobs close to a year ago.  We recognized that this journey began with the premise of changing careers, and more importantly, it started out being about us and where we were going. We quickly realized that it is no longer about either of those; it has become about so much more: connection, conscious creation, the collective, and much more. We discuss the experience of transitioning from seeking value based on how much money we're making to asking ourselves, 'How am I contributing meaningfully to others' lives?' We question what it means to build a meaningful life. We move away from defining a meaningful life based off external factors that reinforce our identity, such as our job, the quality of our clothes, or the cuteness of our dog. Instead, we open ourselves up to the flow of the collective and let that guide our next steps. Join us for an insightful conversation where we redefine what it means to live a meaningful life.
